《The Journey to find the New Golden Emperor》CHAPTER 92 **Advantages to Rank Six**

“Third time, it is the last time we will try, if it doesn’t work, we will just have to survive here!” ‘His Highness’, from Purple Haven stated, his voice was sad yet unyielding...
Sahara found that he looked very unhappy with the way things were and even would happily stay, even if he couldn’t help much with his people and could easily die. He seemed like a good man, an ideal leader that wanted to genuinely take care of his people…But, even Sahara thought that his people were a hopeless case.
They tiredly got up and looked around. They seemed afraid that they would be seen…Or…Something. They were afraid, yes, if they stay, they starve and could even be hunted to be eaten, yet, if they go in the wilderness, they must also stay alert and be careful at all times...They were already tired, hungry, thirsty and...Afraid. Their future was hanging by a thread, whatever choice they choose, it still wasn't going to be easy...
Sahara wasn’t sure on what to do, they seemed like someone that needed help…Yet she was in a totally different Haven…Would she be able to teleport them?
No…Not all of them…What about two?
But then, what about the others?
They were all in danger, by the looks of it, so if she could see that she could teleport one or two, she could come back and get the rest…Right?
Having used the star to come here, her spiritual essence still seemed quite full, surprisingly, and she really did start to get excited if she really could do it! She had easily teleported from the General’s to the outside of the anti-beast barrier with both Steven and Naruto in tow, and that was last rank…Or was it the rank before?
Sahara scratched her head and tried to remember…
Nonetheless, she really wanted to try, as it looked rank six was a big difference to rank five and four, in which made her wonder what rank ten was like. Especially since she was able to do two things at once now…
Oh! What if I could do two stars at once, like the golden eyed dude did two water whips!
There was just nothing else but to do what she wanted and just wait and see what happens!
Sahara quickly put her spiritual essence into a brush and wrote something on a dried blood, piece of parchment, then stuffed it into one of the other people’s hands, while transferring her spiritual essence into ‘His Highness’ and went to attempt to teleport both him and the female holding his arm…
…Will this work?
“Sahara!? Sahara!”
Matthew held onto the fainted Sahara, and he found that her spiritual essence had been completely exhausted. She’d used it all!
It wasn’t life threatening, but it meant one would sleep for quite some time to replenish at least a quarter of it…And if they are in an unconscious state, instead of meditating, it takes a longer period of time.
“Who are you! What is going on!?”
Matthew looked up and finally saw two new people. “Who are you?”

Steven looked from the new comers, to Sahara, and then back to them again, “Purple Haven…”
“…What...Purple Haven?” One of them said, holding the other in their arms protectively.
Steven looked at Matthew, “Remember, I just said that Sahara was looking at Purple Haven, they must be from Purple Haven!”
Matthew held the unconscious Sahara closer to him, because of these strangers, yet, remembered what he had asked about what they were doing, before Sahara had fallen towards the ground from her sitting position. “Then…”
“…Are…Are you saying we have left Purple Haven? We are somewhere else? How is that possible?” The one holding the other asked in disbelief. The other seemed to be looking around in a complete trance…
Matthew sighed and looked at his Princess, he really had no idea what she was meaning to do, but…There had to be a reason, she didn’t connect herself with others randomly. Well, except for the General…Did she want to heal these people?
Finally, Matthew found that they were starving and looked terribly tired. “Bring food and water! Make up a room!” He yelled out.
Looking down at Sahara, he then stood up, holding her in his arms. “Steven…”
“I wish I didn’t have the pill that she gave me before, that would probably help her now…”
Looking at Steven, Matthew remembered the white pill that Sahara had given the emperor. Perhaps Steven was right. “Pill?”
Steven then looked up at Matthew, “Right! She gave some to one of your men, maybe they have one!”
“Can you tell us where we are then, please? My men…My men are back there! I shouldn’t leave my people behind!”
Matthew looked at the new comer and took a breath in, “…Sahara brought you here, tell me why she would save you?”
“...Save me?” He asked, feeling a strange sense of happiness flow through him.
That's right! Maybe we can get help!
Naturally, he had never thought of getting help from another Haven, simply because they didn’t have any golden bridge to connect them to them and no relations between them at all. It had only just come to him now…That they could be saved, that they could fix this, that Purple Haven and its people may yet survive!
“Yes, you are in obvious need of some care, like the one next to you. Now tell me, why did Sahara bring you here, instead of just fixing you at Purple Haven?”
Yes, Matthew had thought of this, why are they here? If she had brought them here, doesn’t that mean something extra is going on?
“She could do that? Why didn’t she! My men!”
“Shut it!” Steven yelled, something that he had heard from Sahara, which worked with the foxes. At the moment, he didn’t care too much for the new comers, he wanted to go back to the conversation of the pills! He didn’t like that Sahara was in an unconscious state, and even wished that she hadn’t bothered to do what she had did to be in that position. Having her forcefully sleeping and looking weak like this, made him worry…

On the other hand, Matthew gave Steven a look. Granted, these new comers were unexpected but they haven’t done anything to cause disrespect!
“Tell her to take me back! I will save all of them, I just…I just needed…” The one holding the female stopped talking, unsure on how to continue. He wasn’t sure how to help the people of Purple Haven, he hadn’t really had to chance to try and help in the first place. He had been hidden and put into cultivation for way too long and hadn’t really learnt how to look after them, all he knew, is that they needed help. His cultivation base was only rank four, but that was still one of the strongest ranks in all of Purple Haven and when he had come out of hiding and had seen what was going on…
“Save them all?” Matthew asked.
“My people are starving and were fighting…The Emperor had died a few years ago, and I had been in seclusion. I didn’t know that the people needed me, no one had come to get me!”
“Hush, dear.” The female said, looking at the man with gentle eyes, “Before the Emperor lost his life, it was on his demand to keep you as safe as possible, no one knew where you were, but you were safe.”
Even though she had said this truth, she could not help but continue to look around at such a lovely place, a safe place, a place that she would prefer to be. She would be willing to help calm her Prince down, so that they could stay here. Even at least until they were better, as they had been running and hiding endlessly for at least a week…She wasn’t even sure now how long it has been…Perhaps it has been weeks, since she was sure that they had been hiding in one area more than a few days, they had also had tried to run out of Purple Haven another time, besides the most recent attempt…Perhaps it has been a lot more than just a week or two...
Silence overcame the area, there was just way too much happening!
Matthew snapped out of it first, thinking back to his beloved Princess, “Someone!”
“Your Highness?”
“Did any of you receive pills from the Princess and have not consumed it?” Matthew asked.
Steven let out a breath of relief to the change of topic.
Band Two rushed out, “I had received the pills, Your Highness, I put them in your study with a note, I thought you had already seen it. I did not want to give them out without…”
“Very well, go get them, bring one here quickly!” Matthew said, interrupting Band Two.
Band Two rushed away and found the pills exactly where he had put them, still safe inside a little pouch that held the small note inside it. Considering that it didn’t look anything spectacular, Matthew would have easily left it to look over at a later date.
Band Two was grateful that not only did he choose correctly, by bringing them here, but he was able to help his Master with something…
“Highness? Who are you?”
Matthew looked back at them, the new comers, whom both seemed to have different objectives. He noticed the woman was completely dazzled with the place and the man was still wanting to return back to Purple Haven to help his men. They seemed on different wave lengths and Matthew didn’t like it. “I am known as the Second Prince of Green Haven.”
“Gr…Green Haven? We are in Green Haven!?” The man asked.
“And…Who are you?” Matthew asked, seeing the woman look at him in astonishment and then slightly redden. She hadn’t paid much attention to him until she had heard the word Prince…It seemed…
“I am…I am an abandoned Prince from the late Emperor. I am the son of a maid and put into seclusion early in my life. My father, the late Emperor of Purple Haven, was quite old upon my birth, but he did love me. He told me that he was worried and that was why he snuck me away…A couple of times, in my early years, he would come to see me and…”
“It’s fine, we can talk in more detail later.” Matthew said, seeing Band Two return with the pill he that he wanted.
The other man seemed to be nervous or something, having said so much…
Putting the pill into Sahara’s mouth, Matthew then took some water, then kissed his Princess, helping the pill to go down her throat better.
The woman was shaken to this, seeing such devotion to another. It wasn’t like she hadn’t been showed love by her Prince, but he hadn’t really been able to devote all his attention to her from the start.
They had married to what felt like a long time ago, but they had only become friends, because the prince was cultivating. He had only kissed her a few times, and the first times she had cringed away, not knowing what to do and how to respond. But, if she had known that he would not touch her much more after, perhaps because she had shied away, she would not have done it! She was now twenty and had been married to her Prince, secretly, when she had been sixteen. For four years, hardly anything had happened between them. All she knew, was that he had originally to put her first, and to want her safe. Since coming out of cultivation, to seeing Purple Haven having changed, the prince has been putting his people and surviving foremost in his mind, but she could hardly blame him for that…Yet…Seeing the other Prince so dedicated, and so devoted…Could she wish for something better with her Prince? She had been secluded herself, so, everything here seemed so good! It was like she was dreaming…Making her wonder…

Flap Merganser: Space Duck
This story began as joke to troll some dude on reddit, but I fell in love with the premise and kind of went crazy writing without any direction or planning. Luckily for me, I spent a couple months convinced I was dying and stepped away from the project. I'm not dying by the way, at least not any more than in the traditional sense. But during that period of inner turmoil, I was able to step back and realize I wasn't too thrilled with the direction this was going. So I have relaunched this project under the name Duck Around and Find Out. Some elements will be the same, and some early chapters may be pretty close to what was in the original draft, but I wanted to get into the action with a bit more haste. That being said, I'm going to leave this up here for now so that you can see how this whole project started. So read it if you want to. Or don't. I don't really care. I'm just happy I don't actually have a terminal cancer.

But this is not a tale about Skyrim, this is a tale spun for something else.
