Jay's pov:
David's lips curl up into a proudly pleased smile. "Uh oh Michael... now your a monster." Michael growls jumping back up on his feet. Blood smeared all over him. His eyes glow an orange color with his fangs sticking out all dripping in blood. His eyes don't look human anymore. You can see the monster in his eyes, almost soul less.
David didn't think the plan was going to work out soon as they stormed in the cave after me. He certainly didn't expect it to go through this way. He didn't plan to make Marko drinking from his victim to turn Michael's hunger for blood on. But it did and now Max can finally lay off. "Now we'll let your brother and Star and Laddie go safe. Long as no more vampire hunter surprises." David pointed his index finger at Michael.
Michael rubs his palms on his face nervously. Looking back at Sam seeing the terror in his eyes. He can't believe he's a monster now. Just like them, having to end human lives to survive himself. That thought constantly ran through his head endlessly. The horrific monster like faces he seen that night on the beach flashing his brain. Now he too has a face like that.
"Michael??" Sam urges him to speak. Fear filling his voice. Michael's lips part as he thinks. "Well Michael? What's it going to be? You can try to continue our fight and try to end us here and now and see which one of us is the head vampire to have your little Star and Laddie turn back human since there still only half... Or you can escape with Sammy here and be safe and not let other vampire hunters back here." David clicks his tounge with a smirk waiting for an answer.

"Come on Michael I know you love Star but there's no telling if any of them are even the head vampire. We can't win against them!" Sam pleads ready to run the hell out of there. David cocks his head at Sam chuckling evilly before he turns his attention back to Michael.
Michael already knows what he wants to do. He did love Star but he wasn't going to risk his younger brother that still had a whole life ahead of him. "I'll take Sam back home and never let any more Vampire hunters come to kill you." He says eyeing David suspiciously. David nods his head crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Good. Have a good life Michael. Just so you know Max will never give up your mom so that's a must." "What do you mean?" Michael looks at all of us. "Don't worry about it hm?" Dwayne says eager to get them the hell out. "Come on Michael!" Sam says tugging Michael's arm pulling him to the cave exit.
They look back at us once more before leaving us to ourselves. "You okay bud?" Paul strides over to Marko patting his shoulder. Marko nods at him looking down and his chest now with the wound gone and all healed. Just a ripped hole in his crop top where the arrow used to be. "Thank you for feeding me your blood to keep me alive long enough to feed on a human." Marko says to me with a wide grin. "You know I would do anything for my boys." I smile back at him.
"We would do the same girly." Paul pats my shoulder next winking at me. Finally no more trouble for now.

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face. Just a little though. Minimum Word Count a Week: 5000 Release Time(s): Between Friday 12pm EST and Monday 6am EST I also write A King in the Clouds

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.
