Bai Yuan entered his room with swift and sturdy steps, behind him Xu Ying kept following. Suddenly he turned around for an abrupt stop and shouted with full power, "Xu Ying, I order you to close the windows and door in this room!"

Xu Ying was startled by the sudden turns of events, he hurriedly came forward and stopped at a moderate distance, "B-But, your highness, why so suddenly? "

No reply was heard from inside. A few minutes passed then the woman spoke for once and it seemed like she had left.

Before leaving she simply said, "I'll let His majesty know that the consort wasn't in his room either."

Inside, two of them let out a sigh of relief. However, a few minutes later, when Xu Ying was again preparing to go outside using a second door, both of them heard another call from outside, "Mommy!"

Bai Yuan jumped on the bed and sat up quickly. He waited for a while and heard Yeye grumpily express, "Are we playing Hide and seek? Where is mommy? I want my Mommy!!"

Yiheng sighed and picked Yeye up in his arms then replied, " Yeye, call me father or dad? I'm not your uncle."

Yeye tilted his head as if he was studying Yiheng's face from different sides, then joyously replied, "Ok, Uncle! Oh- Father!"

Yiheng patted his back and asked, "Where was my child going? Was he going to see mommy?"

Yeye replied with a surprised expression, "Ah! Yes, I want to eat snacks with mommy!"

Yeye showed a basket that a maid was holding preciously, with his small chubby hands. His giggles could even melt rock, so what was Yiheng in compared to that?

"But, son, your mommy is playing Hide and Seek with me. What should we do?" Yiheng pretended and took steady steps toward Bai Yuan's chamber, maids following behind him.

"I want to play too!" Yeye wiggled inside his sturdy arms.

"Let's be on a team. The rule is you won't reveal that I'm with you, okay?"

"Yay!"

And here they were, facing each other. Yiheng stood there with bouncy Yeye in his arms who was clearly enjoying the game.

"Yay! We caught you!"

Bai Yuan thought and stretched his arms to pick Yeye, "Aww, I missed my baby!"

Yeye tightly hugged his neck, "Yeye missed Mommy too~"

Then he shot Wang Yiheng a menacing look, "Do you perhaps need something, Your majesty?"

Yiheng nodded softly and rummaged around his pockets before pulling out a letter, "Wife, I've something important to tell you."
