Felix's POV

"Come on, it's obvious that sour cream and onion is the best flavor" Kai said

"No, you're taste buds are just off" I responded

It was starting to get late, and we were done watching movies. There was nothing left to do than talk and snack on whatever we had left. I wasn't laying on Hyunjin's lap anymore, cause he told me his body was getting numb.

I sat cuddled up beside him instead, with my head leaning on his shoulder.

Kai kept changing the topic all the time. We'd go from talking about polar bears, to discussing which Pringle's flavor was the best.

We actually recapped tons of moments from camp as well. None of us could believe that Seungmin ended up falling for Jeongin. Like, that was the least expected outcome.

Hyunjin insisted that Beomhan once said something like; "the last one to get into the water is gay" -and that Seungmin ended up coming last.

I wasn't sure if I believed him, but it was not impossible.

"He told me a lot had happened between him and Jeongin the last time I spoke to him in camp" Hyunjin said

"You shouldn't believe him" I said, he's one hell of a hypocrite"

Kai giggled

"Well how about we ask him how it's going now?" Hyunjin suggested

"How exactly will we do that?" I asked

He lifted his phone up from his pocket, and I remembered how he managed to get Seungmins phone number one of the last days.

"I've got his phone number" he wiggled the phone from his fingertips

Kai kicked his feet in excitement. I loved seeing how invested he was even though he had barely said a word to Seungmin.

"Call him" I said

"I can't call him" Hyunjin shook his head

"Have you talked to him since camp?" Kai asked

"I only sent him a message saying that this was my number" he replied

"Call him pleasee" Kai begged

"Nope" Hyunjin said, "I'm gonna message him"

I rolled my eyes, but leaned in to see his phone screen nonetheless. Kai crawled over to our side to come look as well. Hyunjin opened the chat between him and Seungmin.

"what do i write?" He asked

"Ask him if they've kissed yet" Kai suggested

I turned my head to face him while lifting one of my eyebrows.

"Dude's probably not even talked to him" I told Kai

I almost pissed my pants as I noticed what display name Seungmin had given Hyunjin. Kai lost his shit as well, and started hitting me as he laughed.

"the fucking emojis" Kai blurted out

I think I might've shed a tear

"You guys have had too much candy" Hyunjin said under his breath.

Me and Kai kept laughing for a good minute until it wasn't funny anymore. Hyunjin just shook his head at us.

"Is he replying?" Kai asked

"Nah" Hyunjin said

I let my head fall back onto Hyunjin's shoulder. He leaned his back on mine. Kai stared at us in disgust before slowly backing away.

I kept wondering what my family were doing. I couldn't imagine the tension after I was kicked out. What if they all shit-talked me? I hadn't gotten one message from my parents since I left.

They might've thought I went to Jisung's house right away, and that I was staying with him. That wasn't a stupid assumption, as my first thought was to call him.

I tried not to think too much of it, but I couldn't help it. I wondered when they'd contact me to tell me I could come home. There was no doubt in me that they would contact me eventually. They were my parents after all.

But what would happen after that is what scared me the most.

"Guys" Kai ended the silence

"What" me and Hyunjin jinxed

I grabbed a yellow gummy bear from the table and threw it in my mouth.

"Do you always do it like that?" He asked

He spoke casually

"What do you mean?" I said

He took a sip from his soda

"Are you always the damsel in distress?" He asked me specifically

I had no clue what that meant whatsoever.

"The what?" I questioned him

He rolled his eyes at me

"Do you only bottom?" He uttered suddenly

I gave him a weird look

"Uhm, yeah?" I replied

He took another sip of his soda.

"Boring"

Kai was always all up in our business. There was no need for him to know everything.

"Does that come as a surprise or what?" Hyunjin said sarcastically

"Some people actually experiment" Kai explained, "you never know what's gonna work"

"We've known each other for just over a month" I said, "how much time do you think we spend on this at stuff?"

"Why do you always get so salty when I mention sex" Kai mumbled

"I don't get salty" I denied, "you're just weird"

"Right" he muttered back

"As if you have anything to do with that" I added

Hyunjin put his hand on my shoulder

"Let him ask baby" He said, carefully stroking my shoulder.

I sighed, as I had no reason to be mad at Kai any longer. I swear, Hyunjin had some kind of magic hands or something. I melted into his touch every single time.

"I think he'll stay under me for a good while longer" He explained, looking down at me

Kai smiled at me in a vicious way knowing that I couldn't be mad at him. I was a bit mad at Hyunjin though for not taking my side, but it was whatever.

Fortunately, we didn't have to keep talking about that, cause a beep was heard from Hyunjin's phone catching our attention.

My heart jumped for a second, cause i thought it came from my phone. Luckily it didn't.

He picked it up to check who it was from. As expected from us all, it was a reply from Seungmin.

Kai came crawling back to our spot so that he could read the message with us.

We all froze in confusion.

Did I read that right?..

Not even two seconds went by until Kai started laughing. I'm not gonna lie, I also laughed. It was a mixture of a funny- and confusion laughter.

"What the fuck" Hyunjin said surprised, half giggling

"Is he back to being homophobic or what?" Kai asked
