Seeing that the woman was now in sight, the golden eyed man used Matthew’s man against him to kill the emperor, then all he had to do was grab the red eyed woman and leave.

Fairly certain that Prince Liam would become the next Emperor, even being involved in all these crimes, the golden eyed person was ready to move on, already anticipating the emperor’s death.

As the woman stood there, the golden eyed person watched as Matthew hurried towards the emperor’s personal eunuch and asked a few questions.

Seeing this as a great opportunity, the golden eyed person jumped down and went to take the woman, but she disappeared!

Upon seeing her once again, he sent out water, like a whip, and thought he would have better luck this way. Knowing that she had disappeared prior to now, he had already thought of this strategy and was able to adapt to the situation. He wasn't unhappy that he hadn't caught her yet, on the contrary, he was glad that she was giving him a fight! His desired woman would naturally be someone worth fighting for!

Seeing this, Sahara brought out the big, clean plaque, that she was supposed to return, and stopped the water whip and saw that people were behind her, "Get outta here!"

The big plaque had a huge dent in it now, where the water whip had hit it, making her quite impressed. She wondered though, did he want to kill her? The amount of force that it hit the plaque with was strong!

But the water whip was controllable, it wasn’t a soulless natural thing, like normal water, and would have obviously just vined her up and brought her back without hurting her too much. The plaque had been in the way, making its strength a lot more to try and go through it…

Matthew saw Sahara and heard her voice, seeing the golden eyed person glare at his Princess. How dare he!

As Matthew went to charge at the man, the man turned the water to go towards Matthew instead, and Sahara glared at him, "You piece of shit!"

Yeah, her eyes glowed red with her anger to someone wanting to attack her man!

Sahara didn't expect another water whip to head towards her though! She was so used to only using one star at a time, that seeing this, she was even more impressed. Honestly, she wanted to ask him how he was doing two things like this at once!

Really, there is no time for that you idiot!

Sahara teleported to another place, away from the people scurrying around and found the whip stop, as he came in to battle with Matthew and his...Beautiful sword!

She stopped, transfixed to the pretty golden trail that went around, as the sword went through the air.

I want that! I'll have to ask where he got it from!

Suddenly, Sahara found out what she was going to save up for! One of those swords!

In her state, she didn't see that Matthew was pushing the other man outside of the area, so that they weren't around as many people, and she happily followed.

Sahara watched, as Matthew easily fended off any attacks and that the trail was some sort of shield. Wow, she wanted that sword so badly that she was nearly drooling.

Honestly, Sahara hadn't found a sword that seemed to say, 'Hey pick me!' or 'I'm your sword!', until now.

The golden eyed man seemed to focus more intently, seeing he had met his match and she lazily leaned upon the wall and watched her man show off to her.

Yeah, she noticed!

He would wink at her at random intervals, once having smiled.

Haha! What a show off!

Seriously, it looked like he was just playing! She let out a little laugh and shook her head. Taking some of her spiritual essence to the golden eyed man, Sahara realized that he was at rank seven, yet Matthew was the same. It really looked like they were different ranks though, as Matthew seemed to be leisurely countering each of his attacks and gaining the advantage.

"The emperor..." A eunuch called out in worry.

She sighed, Sahara guessed that she couldn't let this go on, taking out some rope and putting her spiritual essence into it, she sent it out.

She first tripped him, and Matthew held out the sword, making the golden eyed person show a moment of panic.

Suddenly, the golden eyed person found himself tied up and then even his cultivation base was suddenly feeling stuffed, like…Like he was being blocked!

Before he could fight what was going on, he found himself growing weak and limp, as his pressure points were being hit.

What was going on!?

“Matthew, watch him, I’m going to the emperor.”

Looking up at the woman that he wanted to steal away, he could hardly believe what had just happened!

In the space of just a few minutes he’d gone to someone that is unable to defend himself!

This woman…Did she do this!?

All he had seen…Was her disappearing and...Sniggering at him! She had laughed at him like he was useless!

She hadn’t even touched him, yet his predicament...Had he completely not seen anyone else that had done this? No...He was sure...It was that woman! The first time that he had met her, the people behind him had fallen over to no one there killing them…What is it that she can do!?

…He would not have thought, that his easy, quick attack would end up like this!

All he had wanted to do was take her and go, hell even a short fight should have been nothing! Not many people were above him or even equal to his power!

What was going on!?

You could say that Sahara sent a star to find the emperor, when she had first arrived, and found the strange golden eyed man instead. She had seen him come towards herself, so she had automatically just teleported away from that spot. She felt pretty lucky actually, if she hadn't of seen him with her star, he probably would have easily caught her!

But now, she had to use a star once again, to find the emperor!

It was said that the emperor would not last an hour and that Band One was being held prisoner. It was probably well known here, in the palace, that Band One spent much time with His Highness, the Second Prince. It was a bit of a worry to her if Matthew will be safe here, because one of his men had tried to kill the emperor...

Making quick work on finding the Emperor, Sahara teleported to his side, scaring quite a few people.

“Out of the way.” She said, walking up to the bed and sitting down upon it.

“Why you!”

“Don’t touch His Majesty!”

“Another assassin!”

She glared at everyone and then yelled, “Shut the hell up! You want him to live!? I dare you to say another word!”

Looking around, Sahara sees them shrink backwards and not say a single thing…

Yeah, she wasn't sure if she took it too far or not, she was pretty harsh and loud...Not to mention her red glowing eyes…

Nodding, Sahara closed her eyes and put her hand out to the emperor, who had been stabbed right near the heart.

Ah, Emperor, you’re so lucky I’m here!

Matthew had rushed to deal with the golden eyed person, and even though he was stunned to find him completely harmless, he then continued on to the emperor’s bed chambers.

Finding his beloved Princess there, Matthew breathed out in relief.

Going to speak, he was stopped by a maidservant who put her finger to her mouth, shaking her head and her other hand was up as well, simply stating to not speak!

Looking further around the room, he saw many of those nearby looking a bit scared…

What did my Princess do!?

Smirking, he shook his head and walked up to be beside her.

Watching her for a full minute, he felt better. Knowing that it had looked like the golden eyed person seemed to have wanted to take his Princess, Matthew had needed to make sure that she was okay first...Oh, and the emperor, of course…

“He’ll be ok.”

Seeing his Princess briefly open her eyes and tell him that, Matthew smiled back.

Nodding, Matthew gave a few orders of having more guards for protection and having them loyal to Sahara, then he kissed her forehead and left to find Band One.

Band One was kneeling with his arms bound by wood and had cuts all over him. When he had come back to his senses, Band One had put down his sword straight away, but that hadn’t stopped at least two guards stabbing him…

“Your Highness! I never…I had never wanted to harm His Majesty!” Band One cried out.

Matthew sighed and looked around at the guards surrounding them. After all, they could suddenly try and attack him, with knowing that Band One was his man...

“I don’t even remember doing it, Your Highness! I have no recollection of it at all! Please tell me that the emperor did not die!”

Bending down to his subordinate, Matthew said, “He is being treated, but I don’t know how I’m going to get you out of this.”

Band One nodded, showing his relief to His Majesty still being alive. There would have been nothing that would have changed his loyalty to have done something like this…

But how were they to say that he had been mind controlled?

Matthew sighed and stood back up, putting a hand to his chin.

They’d already caught the golden eyed person…If they could show that he could mind control, then Band One would have a chance. But to have the golden eyed person show mind control would be unblocking his cultivation base. Not only that, his confession would be just as helpful...

Feeling like he was unable to do this though, Matthew closed his eyes unhappily.

This subordinate was truly his friend, how could he let him die?

“Don’t worry about me, Your Highness, I will take the punishment.” Band One said, already knowing how difficult it would be to find him innocent.

Taking a deep breath in, Matthew then looked down at Band One, “I will try and clear your name…”

Band One shook his head, “He must be strong, Your Highness…”

Matthew frowned, “He’s already been caught…”

Band One also frowned, “What? The one who mind controlled me…Is already caught?”

Matthew let out a smirk and nodded. His Princess did most of the work…

Looking away from his Master, Band One was quite…Shocked!

So easily caught…

“Will you endure a little longer, One?” Matthew asked seriously.

“I will do as Your Highness wishes.” Band One responded very quickly and easily.

Matthew gave Band One a genuine smile and nodded at him. “Very well. Guards, he is not to be touched! He is not to die!”

“Yes, Your Highness!” Quite a number of them said. It was an edgy situation, some knew of who Band One was, and some knew how powerful His Highness, the Second Prince was. In the end, do they do something or not? It would only be normal to behead whoever tried to harm His Majesty within the day of the attack...

All Matthew did was nod towards Band One on the way out, to leave another Band there for protection, but otherwise it was out of his hands...

Matthew walked out and went to another area that the golden eyed person was. He was in the exact same position, kneeling and bound by wood, but in a worse condition. As he was still unable to move or use his cultivation base.

Matthew stared at him and smirked. He knew what this person was doing, he knew what he wanted.

“Following your father’s footsteps only could lead to the same fate!” Matthew said, sneering at him.

The golden eyed person looked at Matthew, only able to show that he was paying attention through his eyes…Which looked at Matthew in shock!

Bending down to his level, Matthew smirked at him, “Your father was just as foolish! Do you really think you’ll become the Golden Emperor!?”

Widening his eyes in disbelief, the golden eyed person stared dumbly at Matthew.

Standing up, Matthew took a step back, taking out his sword.

“If one knows about Golden Haven, then one knows of this sword…” Matthew said, holding the sword in two hands.

Knowing that he had just been fighting against this same sword, the golden eyed person was curious. He was concentrating before, as not to be caught or put into a bad position, but now…He took a better look at it…

...There had been no word of this sword anywhere!

How could it be in this person’s hands!? How much did he know about Golden Haven!?

Matthew smiled and finally showed the other part of himself that he kept hidden…His own golden eyes!

The golden eyed person was absolutely shocked at seeing this!

This person…This person not only held the Golden Emperor sword, but also had the golden eyes!

It was unmistakeable…The person in front of him was a True Golden Heir!

Only knowing a small amount about True Golden Heir’s, the golden eyed person lowered his gaze in defeat.

He was only a Golden Heir, one that is most definitely inferior to that of any True Golden Heir’s, and above that, it was a male True Golden Heir!

There was simply no way for him to gain the Golden throne while this person in front of him was still alive!

Looking up once more, he saw Matthew wield the sword in an arc and smash it into the tiles before him.

The sword’s golden trail and large amount of destruction to the tiles, was absolute prove of what it was. How had he not seen it before when they were fighting? If he knew…He would have run!

It was…Remarkable. An indestructible sword that was not only for offense, but defense. A sword that could appear and disappear in a blink of an eye and no other person could yield it…

Putting his eyes down again in defeat, the golden eyed person lost his resolve…There was no hope in the dream that he once had!
