Downhall, Quoe Dungeon Chamber
Sweat came out from there messy, dirty clothes with a strong odor and their sunken eyes appeared in the shadow as the light of torches illuminated the way down through the secret passage. Seven prisoners who volunteered as his aide were walking alongside with Hermes, whilst in the secret chamber, the others were waiting in the secret chamber as per his command.
Hermes stopped walking, slowly signaled his aide to be quiet. He gathered strength, took a deep breath, swallowing a lot of air while maintaining his heartbeat on check. He crouched as he reached a hiding spot and he took a peek. Three large eyeless creatures with several spikes as their armor crawling and swarming their spot in a big circular room wherein a sea of bones of animals and skeletons of human beings was laying down. The creature had the same body of a worm, showing an unshakable bond with its kin and a wide mouth that can be thought toothless inside. But with the knowledge of Hermes, they were man-eating monsters that were dangerous to be approached. Although these creatures were blind, they have a keen sense of touch and their auditory nerves had an extreme level than humans that can detect anyone within its range even the simple heartbeat could be heard. Moreover, producing any kind of sound would trigger them to simultaneously attack its prey with no remorse. Whoever stupid man made a noise would end up as a meal and became a feces like the other victims.
“Sir, those are not an ordinary worms we know? Did you just lied to us?”
“Oh, my God. Quoe monsters are beast. They’re huge and man eating creature just like what the elders had told. You mislead us?”
“Huh?” the young Don churlish. “Oi, I didn’t lie.”
Hermes had a short briefing with his colleagues before they proceeded. No one was willing to join so he gave in a piece of small information that creatures were in the form of worms. He didn’t lie but partly said the truth.
The young Don, trembling in fear, had no option but to lead the team by himself. He didn’t want to risk the lives of the characters such as Kurosaki and young Zairena because it might revert or changed the setting of the plot. In order to prevent anything unnecessary to happen, he must ensure that these people including the NPC’s would be safely escaped through the passage that was protected by the three Quoe monsters.

Truth to be told, Hermes knew there were two exits; the first one was the elevator in the Dining hall but only the authorized personnel can enter and it was guarded by the enemies While looking at the second one, located at the second lower level of the Dungeon was protected by Quoe monsters, must take a risk of crossing the room. They only attacked when it sensed the noise.
If I got an ultimate power, divine blessing and massive strength of the playable characters beforehand. I can easily kill these creatures but sadly, I dont have in my hands. He thought as he tightly clenched his fist.
Angry and irritated.
He returned to the location of his aides and discussed further what should’ve been done. The seven volunteers nodded as he one by one told them their part thereafter. They must be made sure that they won’t fail for the sake of everyone. One wrong move, they’ll die plus become a meal.
The young Don and his seven aides went to their designated locations holding rocks in their hands.
Meanwhile, as the young Don lead his own team, Zairena was accompanied by Little Wendy through the next floor above them. As they approached each cell to find her siblings, they were freeing the prisoners and told them to go to their secret shelter. Nonstop searching for her beloved twins was extremely doing by the pair. She prayed to be reunited with them and safely returned to their father together.
“Sis, Zairena, we shouldn’t go there. Going up to that floor is too dangerous for both of us.” said little Wendy, clinging her tiny arms in her elbow.
“Why? We’re safely got here without triggering an alarm. Why we shouldn’t?” asked Zairena, patting off the little girl. Her tiny legs were shaking and her tiny hand was sweating. While looking at her eyes, she knew she was serious about her warning.
“That place is where the big … huge room located. It is where the holder of this place residing. I advise to return to the place before the enemy knows what’s happening. Please kindly forget about your objective, it is a wise decision not to dare defy the orders of Mr. Aljen.”
“But Wendy, if we don’t save my siblings, I won’t be able to face my father.”
“But,” said Little Wendy, pulling her elbow, “... please, don’t go there. Mr. Aljen only agreed for us to save your siblings if we’re not going to face a more dangerous outcome. Going there is suicide.”

“Alright,” she patted her head, “Let’s go then. We’ll go back for now and stick to the plan.”Her eyes showing sadness but she replied her with a smile.
“Sir. Aljen, should we start now?” one of his companions asked.
“Well, y-yeah. It depends on you guys though. Are we ready to do this?” Hermes retorted, making the others feel uneasy. “Oi, don’t even stare me like that. Why're you guys here? You should be in your position. Wait a sec, your eyes are trying to say that you can’t do this shit and want to withdraw. Don’t even think ‘bout to leave me behind. Y’ guys volunteered. You must show your guts on me.”
“But looking at those monsters, the plan could possibly fail.” the other one in the right side spoke but stepped away and hide behind his other colleague when Hermes showed him cold eyes.
“Hey, y’know what I hate? Is that you guys are going to run away when you realize you guys are doing a noble and venerable reason that no other assholes can do. For the first time of your life, just think of this as an achievement when we successfully make this worms to move away from the door.” he tapped the shoulder of the first man who asked him. “Look here, pal. You guys are older than me but I’m doing something great and honorable for the sake of your family. I’m only fifteen and have no magic power and strength. Although I look thin, my body and mind are trying to convince me to do the right thing. I know you guys are scared but what is the most disgusting thing you can even think? You want to go back to that creepy, messy and dirty cell? You guys are stupid and weak if you choose that. Listen well, there’s no success without failure. Oops, wrong. There’s no success if you don’t even try once.” he raised his pointing finger and pointed it to the direction of the monsters. “Y’know, if you even try to share your strength to me, I’ll guarantee to you that this will lead to one hundred percent evacuation and escape success.”
The seven volunteers looked at each other and nodded in agreement in which Hermes believed he increased their courage.
“Mr. Aljen, you’re speech inspired us.”
Hermes straightly stared his eyes in pride.
“You give us hope and honor.”
Hermes nodded, folding his arms.
“You give us liberty and feel the sense of humility.”
Hermes nodded twice. “Yep.”
“But we can’t come with you.”
“Yep, that’s why you guys stick with me and follow the pla- what? But why? I thought I already convinced y’ all?” The young Don embittered, spreading his arm.
“We’re not strong enough to do that. The task you’ve given to us. As a prisoner, I already lost the will to fight. I only volunteered since I thought we’re fighting worms but it appears that it was a big giant monster."
“What the fuck? You guys volunteered because of misinformation?” the young don boiled and continued, “C’mon, we’re going to place this worms to another chamber. That’s just a simple matter. All we have to do is to make a noise. That’s all. C’mon.”
“You already told us that but how can we make sure that we’ll survive? What I want to explain is that those monsters can detect our heartbeat. Even we hide, how can we even hide our beat? We dont have a courage to risk our lives. We're just a normal human but unlike you, we're not heroes. ” the other one replied.
“Oh,” the young Don faced palm. “ You guys are totally stupid. Why on earth these villagers too naive to get my point.” He sighed. “Listen well, if you don’t want to cooperate then leave this place now and join your friends. Bugger off. I can do this by myself.”
The volunteers lowered their heads and leave him, making the young Don to be saddened in disappointment.
“So, it is me again, huh. What a cock-up.” he sighed. “I need to remove these creatures from that door and transfer them to another one. Should I copy the same plot that the players, female playable characters, did?” He murmured, scratching his hair while thinking for good strategy.
