30th of October 2018
Upon their arrival, the two sorcerers were met by a worried Utahime, who went to check on them. Mai was still furious due to the fact that the curse they had just fought was way above the grade they were told. Tho she calmed down during the trip.
Mai: "You lied to us! We could've died back there!"
Utahime: "I'm sorry! The intel I gave you was the one I was given!"
(y/n): "It's alright Mai. You had me on your side, so we're okay!"
Mai: "Shut up!"
Utahime: "I'm going to see what's behind this. I promise..."
(y/n): "It's alright, Utahime-san. We eliminated the curse so. it's fine, besides we're here alive."
Utahime: "Right... Speaking of which, where's the finger?"
Mai: "..."
(y/n): "What finger?"
Utahime: "Didn't Mai-san tell me it was a finger bearer?"
Mai: "Well... Uhm."
By this time, Mai was still in (y/n)'s arms, but she had seemed to forget and was comfy there, she even fell asleep mid-way. Besides, he had no problem with it, for him, Mai looked cute ranting about the curse while being held.
(y/n): "Mai has fingers."
Utahime: "It's not those whose I'm talking about. Now hurry up. Hand It to me."
Mai: "(y-y/n)?"
Mai felt that she was slowly going down, and she was. Mai quickly put down her feet and turned to look at (y/n) who was now on the ground. Blood leaked from his bandages.
Utahime: "(y/n)-san!"
Mai: "(y/n)!"
Utahime: "Let's take him to the infirmary!"
They both lifted him up by the shoulders, and took him to the infirmary, laid him down in one of the beds, and took off his jacket and shirt in search of wounds. Mai had a slight shade of pink on her cheeks doing it, while it was normal for Utahime, the nurse wasn't there and it was her wounded student so. He didn't have injuries but he had some strange marks on his back, a strange combination of symbols, shapes, and kanjis.
Utahime: "He seems fine but, his bandage's all bloody. Did something happen to his eyes?"
Mai: "No."
Utahime: "We'll have to see then."
Mai: "Wait, Utahime-sensei!"
But she was quick in cutting his bandages, truth be told she wanted to check his eyes for mere curiosity rather than tending to her student.
Utahime: "Let's take a look!"
She had quickly cleaned the dry blood surrounding his eyes and was even quicker to open his eyelids, revealing his (e/c) eyes once again. Mai again could only stare at them but realized something, the kanji on them had a soft blue glow but besides that, the kanji itself seemed to be less visible.
Utahime: "There they are..."

Utahime kept seeing them, the so famous eyes of his.
Mai: "D-do you know something about them, Utahime-sensei?"
Utahime: "I know some of it, but there is more to them, sadly those secrets are well kept by the major clans, and it's only available for the 'higher ranks' of them."
Mai: "Oh."
Utahime: "But I'm still curious about the symbols on his back, I could ask Gojo if he knows something."
With a last inspection, Utahime wrapped a new bandage on (y/n)'s eyes, and just as they were about to take him to his room, he woke up and sat on the bed."
(y/n): "Aren't you some degenerates."
Utahime: "Oh, so you're awake... And who are you calling degenerate?! We were assisting you! You fell in the entrance!"
Mai: "(y/n)!"
Utahime: "I'll slap you... Let's forget about that, what are those symbols on your back, (y/n)-san?"
(y/n): "I'll have to believe you. and the marks? Not important, can I go now? The cold breeze will give me a fever if I'm without a shirt."
Utahime: "You can, but answer me first."
(y/n): "It's nothing."
Utahime: "Then say it."
(y/n): "No."
Mai: "(y/n). Say it."
(y/n): "But Maiii."
Mai: "Just say it."
(y/n): "But why are you so curious, I'm the victim here."
Mai: "Just Say it dammit!"
(y/n): "Okay, okay. No need to get so mad... The symbols... They're... They're... They're..."
Mai: "They're what?!"
(y/n): "Well' they're just a tattoo I got when I was feeling funky. I had nothing to do and nothing to lose so I got it, not my brightest idea but it looks cool right?"
Mai: "A tattoo? Why does it have a meaning or something?"
(y/n): "I don't know it looked badass I guess. Honestly, it's just that, there's not a deeper or some personal, psychological, or past character development behind."
Mai: "Lame."
(y/n): "Hey!"
Utahime: "Well... I guess that's all, (y/n) you can go to your room now, you'll both will not go on any mission for today and tomorrow, you'll still need to attend class tomorrow tho."
(y/n): "Not fun."
Utahime: "Yeah, yeah. Get going, I need to speak to the higher-ups about your incident... By the way, where's the finger-?"
But Mai and (y/n) had already gone. Utahime just stood there, she didn't believe what (y/n) said, and would tell Satoru later on, and was suspicious about the finger's location. But now, she had more important things to do. The Tokyo students were in their way.
Oh and by the way, (y/n) was fine, he didn't pass out from exhaustion or injuries, yes he was tired and his eyes were burning, but it's nothing he couldn't take. It was just an escape from Utahime's question and an excuse to have some sleep, which he did.

Mai: "If someone asks, I'm blaming you for the finger."
(y/n): "Sure... But they're keeping it for something, me taking care of them would help. Say, do you know where the rest is?"
Mai: "I mean you aren't wrong but... How could you even destroy it? And the rest? I don't know, Utahime-sensei surely does or the principal, ask them."
(y/n): "I don't think they'll tell me... Oh, I just remembered, I have to go to do something."
Mai: "Seriously? We just got back from the mission, why don't you rest a little?"
(y/n): "I enjoy you taking care of me, dear Mai. But worry not, it's quick, I'll be right back."
Mai: "Don't ever call me that again."
(y/n): "I know you liked it!"
He said as he walked/jogged to the school's entrance.
Mai: "Screw you!"
She in fact, slightly enjoyed it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Utahime was now with the First-year Tokyo students in a disclosed location, (a parking lot).
Utahime: "Gojo has informed you all about the mole, right?"
Nobara/Megumi/Itadori: "Yes."
Utahime: "We think there are two or more people feeding intel to the curse users. One has to be highly ranked, even higher than the principals. I can't do anything about that. The other is someone feeding information to that higher-up... Today's target. They're still under suspicion... So after apprehending the suspect, we need to conduct an interrogation."
Nobara: "So, It's someone from the Kyoto school, right? It has to be since we, from the Tokyo branch, are all here."
Itadori: "Wow, Kugisaki."
Utahime: "The mole is..."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Miwa: "Mechamaruuu!"
She peeked into a room where Mechamaru was sitting on a couch, she was carrying notebooks.
Miwa: "There you are. Notebooks are due today... Mechamaru?"
Mechamaru: "Sorry Miwa. I'm gonna go sleep for a bit. My notebook's on the desk."
Miwa: "Sleep? But it's still early... Sheesh."
She walked up to Mecamaru and began poking his head repeatedly.
Miwa: He's actually sleeping. I wonder where the real Mechamaru is.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Utahime and the Tokyo students were going down a dark staircase and into a hall.
Utahime: "The real Mechamaru, Kokichi Muta is down here. We don't suspect him because he is suspicious. We came to that conclusion by process of elimination." Although (y/n)'s still a suspect and a very suspicious one at least, we can't afford to deal with him now. "Puppet Manipulation... Its range thanks to heavenly restriction, reaches the entire nation. Using unregistered puppets that act as moles to steal information would be easy for him."
Itadori: Really? But It'd draw a lot of attention if you ask me. "What if the puppet was as small as a fly or mosquito?"
Utahime: "Here."
Completely ignoring Itadori's comment, she walked up to a door and stood next to it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kokichi: "So, you've came."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Itadori punched the door sending it flying across the room, but as they saw the room itself, they were displeased. It was old and empty, all it had was an old wooden chair
Itadori: "Uhm..."
Utahime: "He got us."
Megumi: "So this means..."
Nobara: "It's confirmed. Mechamaru's the mole."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(y/n): "I came."
Kokichi: "Huh? You aren't-"
(y/n): "Who you're waiting for? Yeah, I'm not."
Kokichi: "How did you find me?"
(y/n): "It's easy, you're controlling the puppets with cursed energy, it's like a string I follow, and I can see every string on every puppet you have. So let's not play dumb. Besides, I know you're the mole."
Kokichi: "Hm... So? Are you here to take care of me?"
(y/n): "I could, but that would be doing you a favor... I'm not one of those... You look absolutely miserable. I just wanted to see what heavenly restriction was capable of."
Kokichi: "So you're just here to make fun of me? Do you think you're better than me? If I was born the exact same as you we wouldn't be any different."
(y/n): "But you aren't. That's why we're different. But hey, at least you don't need to move to go somewhere. And besides, your ability really helps you being a mole. Normal sorcerers wouldn't notice your spying and stuff... Luck I'm not one of them."
Kokichi: "Tch, planning on leaving soon? I believe they are about to arrive."
(y/n): "Yeah, just wanted to come to say hi, I may not know who you're making deals with, and I'm pretty sure what your prize is... But be careful, curses no matter how they look or what they say, will always bring you down. Just a little tip or ya', I'll take my leave now."
Kokichi: "You wouldn't get it, you haven't gone through what I have, you and you're miserable eyes couldn't understand!"
(y/n): "Yeah, maybe I won't. But you wouldn't either."
Kokichi: "Your kind sorcerers are a curse."
(y/n):
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And so (y/n) left, heading back to the Kyoto Jujustu tech, and as he arrived he entered the 'school building', where he found Mechamaru sitting on a couch with Miwa by his side.
Miwa: "Hey, Mechamaru. Can I go visit you one of these days? After the exchange festival... I feel like we all got closer after we played baseball. Maybe it's an occupational habit since we're shamans... But even though we get along, I think we've always kept our distance. After all, If we get along too well... It's more painful when one of us disappears. But I... I like what we're having right now. Like, you couldn't even play baseball with us, right? A pitching machine subbed in for you. I want to get along with you too, Mechamaru. So... I'm going to visit you someday"
(y/n): "Miwa-san?"
Miwa: "O-oh, (y/n)-san? What are you doing here? D-did you listened to w-what I said?"
(y/n): "No, I just came. I was walking around since I had nothing to do."
Miwa: "Oh. Did you bring your notebook?"
(y/n): "My what?"

Life in another world with an Immunity System
NOTE: I just finished a large scale editing with the chapters. From now on, the world is no longer a 1000X Earth. I have added my original element. From here on, with a few exceptions, no similarity can be found with our Earth. Thank you. The change has been applied from chapter 1. So if anyone finds any missed places or traces of my previous world-building, please comment and notify me. Andel lived in a world where those with powers will have the final say in everything. In his world, having no aptitude to either magic or Ki means you are even worse than ants. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any aptitude to either. His life should have been hell, but due to being the son of two powerful parents and descendant of a powerful family saved him from a wretched fate. Life was harsh, but Andel wasn’t one to mourn and do nothing. From his childhood, he learned all kinds of close-combat styles and martial arts, proving himself to be a genius at close combat as long as ki isn’t involved. As genius as he was, there was no way he could match those with powers, right? Wrong! Andel had another identity. He was originally a person from Earth who got transmigrated after an accident. Moreover, during his transmigration, he also gained a system that gave him resistance to various things in exchange for experience points. With the Immunity System in hand, Andel decided to finally step into this magical new world and make a name for himself, after spending twenty years in training. The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
