~With Kai~

When we all flew home to our house after the WarGames PPV, we slept the entire next day, not bothering to wake up, even if it was lunch and/or dinner.

Very early in the next morning, I got back into gear and went to the PC. I saw that Masami was still sleeping, so I kissed her head and let her be.

As we walked over, since the house was only a couple minutes from the PC, I received a tweet from Minoru and it wasn't about WarGames, but it was this...

That made me laugh and it was another reason why Minoru is just the fucking best!

Anyways, I did think about the idea of me going after the NXT Championship right away, but the more I thought of it, I felt very conflicted. It's simple, I just arrived in NXT and I really don't think going after the big prize isn't a good idea at the moment.

I trust Hunter, but if I win a title after arriving in the Black and Gold brand, I'm not better than my character inside the ring.

I walked inside and while I was on the treadmill, I have gotten a text from Masami about something I wasn't expecting.

こんにちはカイ！ この散歩があります 興味がありますか？ (Hey Kai! There's this walk I want us three to go on in a couple days! You interested?)

It was a walk for autism awareness and that got me interested.

ええ！ やりましょう！ (Yeah! Let's do it!)

大丈夫、私は友達を招待します。 (Alright, I'll invite some friends.)

わかります。 (You'll see.)

Well, okay then.

After at least half an hour of running, I decided to practice my moves with some of the other guys.

They all didn't mind that and since there were a couple of young guys in their early twenties that were learning how to do moves like I do, I had no problem doing that. That's my goal when I retire from wrestling: share the knowledge and wisdom I have learned with the younger talent.

My other advice is always listen to the old-timers, they might not look like much, but believe me, these are the guys who have the knowledge to make the younger generation a better wrestler. I even said at one point that I always thought that the veterans have the stuff.

I always respected the veterans because they have more knowledge and wisdom in their pinky finger than some of the wrestlers who think they know the business better than everyone else. That's something I absolutely hate: ego. I keep my ego in check because I don't it to be as big as the PC.

After working out, I decided to shower up and get dressed in regular clothes. I even saw Hunter a couple feet away, so I decided it was the best time to talk to him, you know? I already made my decision about going after the NXT Title and I wanted to share with him before I forget.

Morning, Hunter.

Hey, Kai. Have a seat.

I sat down and I think he knows what I'm about to say about the title run.

You made your decision?

Hai, I have. I think it not the best time. It way too early.

I understand what you mean. We'll put this at a later date, if that's okay?

I like that.

Okay. So, how about we go after another title, if that's okay with you?

I think so. Maybe North American Title?

That we can do. I'll talk to Trevor and ask him if he's interested in that feud.

That awesome, but I have a question to ask.

Heel?

Hai. Back in Japan, my babyface character for almost decade gone stale and I needed change, but management so stupid, they said no to every chance I get. When I join Suzuki-Gun, it help me get back into contending for Championship and it change character completely.

I like the idea. When do you want that to happen?

When I go on losing streak to point I lose my mind.

Maybe after Gargano and Trevor? I have a plan for it.

He then told me about the idea of me going in a No 1 contender's match for Trevor's NXT NA Championship. It's Gargano and I fighting it out, but it all comes down to who's the better wrestler in that bout, and then we start the feud between Trevor and I until Gargano comes in, wanting a rematch.

Trevor comes to the idea that we could have a triple threat match to make it fair. I like that from Hunter, very well thought out.

When it was time for me to go, I shook my hand with Hunter's and I walked in home. While I walked, listening to Ayumi's music, and I was hoping for a good day until this cat darted out of nowhere and rubbed itself on my legs.

I'm not allergic or anything, but why is this cat wanting me?

Where's that damn cat!

I then saw this middle aged lady, who looked so bad that, she might've been drunk, high, or heck, why not both?

Gimme that fucking cat you idiot!

I looked at this poor animal for a second and it looked at me with sad eyes.

This cat must've been abused by this bitch and it didn't show any injuries or anything. It seemed like it was scared by this owner who doesn't deserve to be an owner.

I looked the cat and then the owner before she yelled at me...

What are you, deaf! Don't you speak fucking English!

That did it for me as I took the cat into my arms and walked away.

Get her back here! She's mine!

I yelled, while taking off my headphones...

Not anymore! She mine now!

You can't do this! You're taking my cat!

Yeah, from a bitch do not deserve animal around!

I'm calling the police!

Have fun cause you go to jail!

She ran at me and I gently put the animal down before she attacked me with a broom stick!

I managed to catch it in time, turn around behind her, and lock in my sleeper before a neighbor came out to see what was going on, and it seemed like the neighbor knew what happened before this drunk bitch attacked me!

After a good long while of me locking in the sleeper and locking my legs around her waist, the drunk tried to get me to let go by slamming me on the ground, but, spoiler alert, it made me tighten the hold even more!

The cops arrived and I managed to get off of her before they tried to arrest me! The neighbor told the whole story of her abusing the cat, attacking me just because I was going to give this poor animal a new home, and me defending myself.

I know I could've gotten killed, but hey, at least I managed to get a new pet in the process!

After I thanked the neighbor for calling the cops and helping me out as I told my side of the story and texting Hunter about the whole thing, I walked home and brought in this cute cat with me.

カイ、見た？オーマイゴッド！ (Kai, did you see— OH MY GOD!)

She must've been wanting a cat since she got here and now I finally brought it here.

どこで手に入れましたか？ (Where'd you get it?)

私を攻撃した虐待された所有者から盜んだこれを言いましょうが、私は身を守りました. (Let's say this one I stole from an abused owner, who attacked me, but I defended myself.)

あ、カイ。 あなたが持っているべきではありません。 (Oh, Kai. You shouldn't have.)

知っている。 彼女がこれ以上彼女にトラウマを負わせる前に、私はこのかわいそうな人を救わなければなりませんでした。 (I know. I had to rescue this poor thing before she traumatized her some more.)

彼女を獣醫に連れて行って、彼女が大丈夫かどうかを確認する必要があります. (We need to take her to the vet and see if she's okay.)

良い電話。 (Good call.)

We then drove over to the vet and when we got an MRI for this cat, it was revealed that she had no external or internal injuries, letting us know that she was traumatized by this owner's abusive decision to try and almost maim this poor little girl.

After paying the bill, we went to the pet store, got some cat food, a litter box, a little light green collar, and some toys for her to play with. I thought this was amazing because, not only did I literally tear up, I bought everything with my own money.

I know people would say I shouldn't have to do this, but I want to. I wanna make sure that this cat had a new home and some people who will love and care for her.

Although the days after WarGames didn't go the way I wanted it to be, but at least we have a...
