After some time passed, the alliance was reaching stagnation as some Divine Nation refused to join the alliance. This was within expectation as a peaceful time would cause most factions to think that this world revolved around them. Even so, Yi Tianyun didn’t force them to join as it was better if they joined on their own accord than being forced. Many Divine Nations finally caved in and joined the alliance in order to get their hands on these Martial Arts, but some still stubbornly declined the offer. Yi Tianyun could only sigh as he wouldn’t bother saving these Divine Nations later if the Evil Spirit Race started gnawing them from the shadow!

A month passed, and the alliance progress had almost reached completion.

“We are almost finished, but we still have to convince one more faction to call it complete! The thing is, they are still stubborn as hell!” Yi Yuanlong said as he laid out the map of the Heaven World that was already marked with the territory of the Alliance Member.

“Which Faction are you talking about right now?” Yi Tianyun said as he stood up. Yi Tianyun has immersed himself in refining tools and alchemy to make sure he remained productive while waiting during the past month. He used his free time to practice his skills to increase their proficiency, even if just a little. He wanted to upgrade his alchemy to creator level as well! Although he had enough Mastery Point to upgrade his alchemy, he chose to wait and see in case he needed the point for something more urgent later.

“It was the Dragon Clan! They are a strong force on Heaven World that occupies a large area, but no cultivators are allowed to enter without permission, and they have been turning away our Divine Envoy from the beginning!” Yi Yuanlong said with a sigh. “They are basically a loner that wants to be left alone, but we need their strength to fight the Evil Spirit Race in the future!” Yi Yuanlong said annoyedly.

“Dragon Clan, they sure are annoying to deal with. How about the history of the Demonic Race War in the past? Did they contribute and help the Three Divine Kings in the past?” Yi Tianyun asked curiously.

“According to the record, the Dragon Clan has a very good relationship with Sealing Heaven Divine Nation and contribute a lot during the war, but after the war, they gradually lost touch with us.” Yi Yuanlong said with a sigh.

“I understand their train of thought, though. They are a powerful race that doesn’t need anyone to protect them.” Yi Tianyun said as he nodded his head knowingly while pouring some tea for himself with a calm expression.

“It seems we have to give up on asking them to join the alliance soon. I don’t know of any other way to ask them to join our alliance right now.” Yi Yuanlong sighed once again while pouring tea for himself too.

“No, that is not completely true. I will go to the Dragon Clan myself!” Yi Tianyun said as he sipped his tea leisurely.

“What? There is no need for that! You don’t have to destroy them just because they reject our offer! They have already done much in the past. It would be such a shame to antagonize them like that!” Yi Yuanlong said worriedly.

“Grandfather, did you think I am that cruel of a person that would destroy anything that denied me?” Yi Tianyun said with a smile on his face.

“Well…” Yi Yuanlong couldn’t find the right word to answer. He had known Yi Tianyun to be a wilful kid that forced the enemy to submit with brute force. He actually thought that Yi Tianyun would suppress the Dragon Clan and scared them to join the alliance.

“It’s alright. I will go to the Dragon Clan to see their current situation. I want to know why they didn’t want to join our alliance personally.” Yi Tianyun casually said as if it was no big deal.

“If it were that simple, we would’ve already done that much! The Dragon Clan has always been a closed-off and powerful clan. Even if they aren’t included on the Divine Nation rank on Heaven World, they are one of the most powerful factions on Heaven World!” Yi Yuanlong said worriedly.

“That is where the problem lies. We are supposed to have a good relationship with them. So, it was a simple question of why they didn’t want to help us now. I guessed that they have their own big problem right now. Probably, they weren’t as powerful as they were back then right now. They might seem strong, but they might have hidden the fact that they are weak right now! They might reject our offer because they couldn’t afford to send help themselves!” Yi Tianyun said with a smile on his face.

“This is normal for a faction as proud as the Dragon Clan! Although they know that they have a good relationship with Sealing Heaven Divine Nation, they couldn’t just expose their own problem as they couldn’t risk any threat from the outside.” Yi Tianyun said confidently. Yi Yuanlong was speechless as he realised that Yi Tianyun’s words were credible. He would also do the same thing if Sealing Heaven Divine Nation faced the same problem!

Yi Yuanlong started to think and wonder about Dragon Clan’s reason for rejecting the alliance, and Yi Tianyun’s words made the most sense out of it all!
