"Don't think this makes us friends." I tell Rosalie as we get out of the car at the airport. "I just believe in safety in numbers."

"I know." She murmurs and we walk towards the baggage claim to find Bella and Egbert. "For what it's worth I'm still sorry."

"It's worth nothing." She nods and I roll my eyes. "Bella!" I yell as I see her and she smiles as she sees me before running into my arms. "We got you kid."

"Thanks." She mumbles and smiles at Rose. "He's gonna be angry."

"Fuck him this is about you." Rosalie says squaring her shoulders as Eggward approaches us. I don't even need Jasper's gift to feel the hostility rolling off him. "Don't start." She warns taking a bag from him and leading us back towards Emmett's Jeep. I do not want him in Ruby. Silent but deadly is usually the term to describe farts is the only way to describe this car ride.

Eddie boy's thoughts are so ducking loud too and so fucking morbid.

"So what we can't see how far along she is?" Jasper asks while we sit around his office. Bella is in the living room with Andrew and Bree. The baby's are babysitting.

"No and seeing how noticeable it is that she's pregnant after 18 days it's easy to see this pregnancy will go much faster than a human one." Carlisle says all mellow and sad.

"Take it out out of her."

"You can't make that decision for her." I tell Eddie. "Especially you actually seeing as your decisions have the worst consequences."

"It'll kill her."

"We don't know that for sure." Rosalie says.

"I can't even see her future anymore." Alice argues standing.

"Wouldn't be the first time." I snap. "You can't even see her with the pack it's probably like that."

"Or it kills her." She yells standing.

"I'm gonna kill you." I threaten and Jasper and Emmett get between us.

"Ok girls let's just discuss this rationally." Carlisle says trying to mediate. "Fighting isn't good for the situation." Emmett wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me to sit with him.

"Neither is wasting time take it out of her." Edward snarls. "We're wasting time."

"You can't do that without her consent." I say changing the word so maybe he'll understand. "She has the right to a choice."

"She's making the wrong one."

"Then that's on her. But it's hers, not yours."

"So what you own her?" I ask and Emmett's arm tightens around me, like he was preparing to hold me back. "She marries you and loses all her bodily rights to you?"

"No but I should get an opinion."

"And you have but since it's not what she comfortable with doing there's nothing else you can do." Rosalie says.

"The only other thing you can do is give her all the information we have, the predictions we have on the pregnancy and let her make an informed decision." Calvin adds. "After that it's out of our hands."

"Then all we can do is help her through it."

I'm sitting in the bathroom with Bella while she showers.

"Do you think I'm being stupid?" She asks.

"Always." I joke. "It's your life Bells, if you think it's right it's not stupid."

"If I die will you raise him?"

"Not a chance in hell. Rose can have him, I'll be his aunt." I don't mention Edward still being it's dad. He's made his opinion clear.

"I never wanted kids Bella."

"You're not dying." Not yet at least. "Stop being so dramatic that's Edgar's job."

"I'm not being dramatic I'm being realistic." She shuts off the water and puts her hand out for the robe. "That's why he thinks I should get rid of it, because it'll kill me."

"Humans die from giving birth to normal babies all the time." I tell her. "Don't worry too much. Stress isn't good." I move to help her out over the tub. She's still clumsy. "Just relax and let Rosalie baby you."

"Not you?"

"I'll be here in the mornings and middle of the night shifts." I tell her. "But I have to go to the shop. Rays out and with everything that went on this summer I can't really afford to just skip however long this is gonna last." I feel awful about it. "You know I would be here if I could be."

"I know." She says. "Besides I'll be fine."

"Plus Emmett Andy and Bree are here too."

"Plus everyone else."

"Yea but those are the only four I know won't change their minds." I would like to see them try. "So before I go to work for today anything you need from me?"

"I want my cat and Achilles too."

"Ok I'll bring them to you." I smile at her. "Now Esme is cooking for you so let's get you downstairs."

"She's gonna die." I tell Paul while we sit in the studio waiting for my next client to show up. "She's gonna die and I have to sit and watch because I can't change her mind."

"Bella."

"What the fuck? Why?"

"Edward got her pregnant." I tell him and it's good to finally talk about this. "And Alice can't see her future and they think she's gonna die and they're probably right but she wants the baby and I can't not defend her. This baby is going to kill her and I'm going to have to sit back and watch."

"Hey hey calm down." He says coming over to hug me. He pets my hair trying to soothe me like a baby. "It'll be fine."

"We don't know that." I say. "We don't know anything."

"Exactly." Bitch what? "That why Alice can't see her, it's unknown like the pack." Hey that's what I said. "She's never been a weird hybrid baby so she can't see what the future of it holds."

"It'll still kill her."

"We don't know that."

"Be realistic here Paul!"

"Be optimistic here Onyx." He says still stroking my hair. "And even if worst case she dies, would you rather she died with your support or without it?"

"With." I mumble. "She's my twin. I can't live without her."

"Pregnant?" Jared asks and I nod. "No fucking way."

"Way." We had decided to close shop early so I came to the Rez for a bit. After I called to make sure Bella's doing okay. Actually I called her every hour but still.

"I thought vampires can't get pregnant?" Leah says remembering the conversation we had.

"They can't. But she's human."

"So what male vampires can just run around getting human women pregnant?" Emily asks confused. Me too girl.

"No idea. My guess is Edward never had sex after he was turned so his sperm have just been living there for 100 years till he you know."

"Dude 100 year old virgin." Jared says and we laugh. "That's like fucking insane."

"I know!"

"So what is it?" Sam asks. "A vampire baby? Aren't those like illegal?"

"Actual ones yes. The immortal children cause they can't be disciplined enough to hide our secrets." Wild by the way. "But seeing as the baby has shown growth in the last day it most likely won't stay a child forever."

"In the last day?"

"Yea the growth is expedited."

"How long will she carry for?" Emily asks.

"Carlisle current estimate is two months." Her eyes widen and I nod. "But it's still just a guess."

"Jesus fuck." Leah says.

"What if is an immortal child?" Sam asks. "What if it grows now and then stops? You would have to kill it right?"

"Yea. Well unless it can survive on human food alone."

"Will the Voltori see it that way?"

"I don't know. Hopefully they never know this even happened." I shudder at the thought of Aro discovering this situation. "Only time will tell."

"Jacob is so gonna flip." Seth says and I laugh at the idea of that.

"Oh man what about Charlie?" Leah asks.

"They don't want to tell him. Since he's not supposed to know about vampires."

"You're gonna tell him though. Right?"

"No." She looks shocked. They all do. "If Bella dies I can't let him know what killed her. I'd she survives then we'll tell him about the whole thing."

"But if she dies he can't say bye?"

"If she dies I'm gonna say it was a accident." Backup plans people. Eddie could learn a thing or two from me. "Unavoidable. For now we're just gonna say they extended the honeymoon to have more alone time and she'll just call him to talk to him like normal."

"We'll then let's hope she doesn't die." Sam says and I nod. "You know since Carlisle can't see anything with the baby except it's growth rate why not bring her to Sue."

"Why?"

"She's a medicine woman." Emily says, which I knew I just don't know what that means here. "Maybe she can get a sense of the baby's spirit and help us get a better understanding."

"That's actually a really fucking good idea."
