《I love you so much I hope you believe it too》A wedding

You stood in front of a mirror in your dressing room. you were tired and were contemplating whether or not you would go through with marrying Kuvira. Though it's not like you had much of a choice.
Knowing Kuvira even if you said no she would still force you to marry her after all she is the supreme ruler and you are just as they say her "love buddy"
Putting on your makeup you found the will to go on become weaker so you had just settled on having your maids do it. Feeling a terrible headache coming on and a feeling you could not shake
That's when there was a knock on the door "y/n are you in" Kuvira asked from behind the mahogany door "Uhm Kuvira what are you doing here" you tried not to make sudden movements so your makeup wouldn't end up getting ruined
"I wanted to see you." "Kuvira you know that is bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her wedding dress before the marriage" Kuvira scoffed "I couldn't care less plus I don't believe in the superstition nonsense"
You sighed once your makeup was finished you went to the door opening it letting Kuvira in who was at the point in her dress shirt and pants "there you are" her hands wrapped around your waist pulling you in for an embrace before leaving kisses all around your neck
"Kuvira you have to go" you tried to push her away but to no avail, she refused to let go "you know I'm sorry for the way I acted last week" you rolled your eyes remembering the shit show that had happened
"It's whatever" you push her away this time successfully "now if you would please leave the room so I may finish getting dressed" Kuvira's face scrunched up and she scowled "fine be that way" she mumbled under her breath storing out of the room slamming in the door behind her. You began to wonder what did you even see in her throughout all these years
The rest of the hour went smoothly you put on your dress and got your hair done. and having a quick visit from your mother and father telling you how happy they were for you. Reminiscing on childhood events. When a large bell could be heard

Your heartbeat began to speed up. The wedding was about to begin and you were a part of the main cast. So you gathered all the life and courage your mother had given you telling about her own experiences marrying your father and headed to walk down the aisle
For a while, you seemingly blanked out walking down the aisles listening to friends and well mainly your family talks about embarrassing moments when we were young lovers and how it took Kuvira five whole years to gain the courage to ask you out. Only for you to reject her because she was coming on way too creepy for your liking. but soon you gave her a chance out of pity and found yourself falling in love.
Then came the vows your mind only knowing seemingly waking back up letting you realize the situation you are in and when it comes to you to say I do you hesitate for a moment
'Do I even want to marry Kuvira anymore? Especially after how the past couple of weeks has been. Well, I don't have a choice in the matter anyway. Knowing Kuvira she would probably force me to do it' your thought to yourself only to realize everyone was staring at you. Kuvira's face was full of distraught and worry she whispered your name ever so quietly worried about what would you say
So bravely and almost ever so regrettably you clear your throat and let the words flow out "I do" though it was more like a question than a statement
Her face almost immediately was filled with joy as she grabbed both of the rings putting hers on before putting on mine not realizing you were supposed to put on hers with the final word Kuvira lifted your vail and seemingly jumped on you smashing your lips together not giving you time to react before she pulled away a giant smile on her face
People clapped and cheered but your face stayed its monotone forced smile trying to pretend as if this was the happiest day of your life. You and Kuvira walked out hand and hand to the ballroom where she took your hand kissing it gently "may I have this dance"

With a smirk on her face you breathed in sharply "I'd be delighted" Kuvira took your waist into your arms and you put your arms on her shoulder as the music from the orchestra began to pick up
"Why did you take so long to answer" Kuvira whispered a smile still on her face "I was just thinking about stuff" "like what" you but the inside of your cheek "like later tonight. And how far we've come. Stuff like that" Kuvira chuckled it was obvious she was not buying it but it was time for the dinner so Kuvira would have to confront you later
Walking hand in hand you sat down with the other guest as the twelve-course meal started. Crazy right Twelve whole courses. Kuvira wanted the wedding to be big and fancy and very expensive not realizing she had almost put the whole country in debt. She even raised the taxes on some of the regions to afford a wedding like this. You expect a revolt in the next to months
But it's not your building to get in the way. At least the food was good consisting of four appetizers, four entrees, and four desserts from all over the earth empire. But as you ate and dined you found yourself feeling uneasy maybe. it was just worrying if you were able to eat every bite of the food but who knows?
But as your favorite dish came out all your worries went out of the window. It was koi fish a giant type of fish known for being deadly poisonous and could cause penalization if not treated properly but thankfully koi has become mainstream and every professionally trained chef knew how to cut around its poison.
but then you remembered something. Kuvira hated koi a lot "Uhm Kuvira did you put koi on the menu even though you hate it" she pushed the plate towards you "of course I knew it was your favorite food so it would be wrong for me not to" you felt your heart warm
"Thank you" a genuine smile found its way on your face and you gave Kuvira a quick kiss on the cheek before biting into the fish tasting a weird metallic taste on it. At first, you thought maybe that was just a bad bite so you continued to eat but you found that every bite was bad pushing your plate away maybe you had finally reached your max on how many times you could eat it in a week
Your head hurt like hell as the world began to sway around you. Gripping onto Kuvira's uniform sleeve you felt nauseous "Kuvira I don't feel so good I think I'm gonna turn in for the night" Kuvira held your hand as you stood up from your chair
"What's wrong," Kuvira asked but you couldn't hear her all of a sudden you felt light-headed and were only able to walk a few steps before you seemingly lost control of your limbs and collapsed to the floor
Kuvira watched for a second seeing if you had just tripped and were going to get up but when you didn't she screamed out your name gaining the attention of all the guests and servers
Running to you she grabbed you pulling you into her arms and flipping you over to see that your eyes were wide and were still breathing but you weren't moving other than the twitching your body did
Kuvira tried shaking you to hopefully get you off this trance but nothing worked. The rest of the world became deafening as she was pulled away from you to make room for the doctors
Her heart was pounding in her ears and then it went silent. She had passed out waking up a few hours later in your shared bedroom she tried to get a handle on what had happened when she saw your ring on the nightstand. And it all came back flooding
"She's gone"
*THE END*

Draugr Cell //Layer 01-- Investiture:
With the end of the only war to ever reach mainland Australia I found myself living out of a small room in an old military compound that had been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The end of the war, unfortunately, didn't mean the end of hostilities. The terrorism trend that had started back in the early 2000's with the attack on the world trade center over in America, had spread to just about every country on the face of the planet. Over time the constant threat from various groups meant the civilian police force was quickly undermanned, under equipped, and overwhelmed. They were simply unable to respond to the daily threats in any reasonable time frame, and in many situations lacked the both the skills and equipment required to deal with the threats to put them down in a 'safe' and expedient manner. Veterans of the war that were being reintegrated into society however, were just about everywhere, all the time. We have the training and the skills required to deal with just about any threat you care to mention, all we needed was access to the equipment to do so. In a world first, under the new Veterans program, the Australian government had taken the rather controversial step of allowing specifically selected veterans to go armed in public. Sure, with Australian weapons laws being very, very strict there were a number of hurdles to get over first, but that's where the selection part comes in. Tangentially that's actually how I met Brianna, my current partner. We work as ringers in Victory City, I thought being thrown into imptomtu combat operations and risking my life on a daily basis for barely livable wages was excitement enough. Then I met her... it... I don't know. An AI unlike anything else out there has wedged itself into my life and decided it needs to... look after me. What could possibly go wrong? **** This is the first book I have released, and my first entry into a cyberpunk universe. There is minimal drug use, a fair amount of sex, a bit of gory violence, and a sultry AI that has decided the main character needs a harem.

The blue Astrum of memories
Some of you believe in fate and some of you don't. That's ok in our world. In the world that I created Fate has been acting strange and selfish for a long time. She was always fascinated with humans and the fact that they had soulmates because a lot of other races didn't. Ever since humans started traveling through space, that opened millions of new opportunities for Fate to make the human soulmates meet. However, because of her strange behaviour Fate made too many mistakes. After that, Fate made what she thought, was a good move. What she didn't count on was that the good move she made knew that you can cheat fate. One and his crew don't know how ironic it is that she chose them to make her good move. ------------------------------- I didn't use any movies, books or series for inspiration the story is my original work. This is just the result of my weird imagination and brain telling me what to write. I hope you liked it :) It’s just a story, like all of my other stores. It doesn’t have a deeper spiritual, moral or ethical meaning.
