He was shocked for a few seconds and then he tried to get away from her, but she clung to him and started sucking his lower lip.

I was shocked to see that... Though I knew that they were in a relationship, actually watching them share an intimate kiss was just a little too much for me. Tears had started flowing from my eyes.

Manik Ji was trying to break the kiss but Myra seemed to have another plan. I was stuck there as I could not stay there to see them kissing and at the same time, I could not go away.

It was torture to see them standing there while she kissed him. Though it must have lasted for much less than a minute, I could not breathe during that time.

Just then someone shouted at him and there was such a big fight. I was already hurt by what I saw, on top of that, Viren punched Manik Ji very hard. I went inside the kitchen and stayed there, I was still crying.

I was cursing myself because I had secretly wished that Viren Ji should come to know about the relationship between Myra and Manik Ji and that Viren Ji, should not approve of it.

And here he was shouting at Manik Ji. I didn't want them to fight like that.

I felt very guilty... Manik Ji must be feeling very bad because his friends were angry and they had a fight which they have never had as Mihir Ji had told me.

After a few minutes, Mihir Ji came in for water and was shocked to see me crying. He asked me silently if I was ok and I nodded. He hugged me and patted the back of my head. After some time, when everyone went away, he took me out of the kitchen and to my room.

I had not come out of my room since then. Everyone left in the morning and they again had a severe discussion. But they all left early. Manik Ji was hurt very badly, I felt very guilty but could not help him.

Though I wanted to go and meet him, I decided that I shouldn't. He might think that I was taking advantage of the situation to come closer to him or had come to rub salt into his wounds.

Moreover, I was hurt too, why was he trying to come closer to me when I was trying to keep myself from falling more for him? So I decided to stay away from his life and problems. I kept myself busy with my studies.

Though he tried a lot to talk to me I was not talking to him...

It has been one week since that night when everything was ruined between me and my friends.

Chachu called up and asked me to come to Delhi for a few days. There was a very important meeting and deal and Chachu needed me there. I told him that I will be there by the evening.

" Bring, the girl, er... Roshni with you. Mahi has been talking about her so much and as it is she's a part of our family now so it's better that she comes and meet all of us. " He said.

" I will ask her... "

" What do you mean, you will ask her? You are the guardian, tell her to pack her bags and be here before dinner. We all will have dinner together. Your Chachi is getting all your favourite dishes cooked. Sometimes, I am jealous of the three of you. She loves three of you, more than me. " He said.

" Awww... My OPH chachu... I love her too. See I said it in front of you and you can't beat me or I will tell Chachi. " I said and we laughed.

" Be there before dinner, with Roshni. " He said.

" Ok, chachu. Bye for now. "

My economic class was going on when my phone started buzzing. I had kept it on silent but it was buzzing continuously. Who was so persistent??

I looked at the screen

and was surprised as Manik Ji was calling me. But as I was in the class, I could not pick up the phone, so I sent a message that I was in a class.

Within two minutes, he replied to the message that I must go back home and pack my bags because we were supposed to go to Delhi.

Delhi? All of a sudden? But why me?? I didn't want to go anywhere.

I sent him another message to tell him that I could not go, so he can go alone.

He asked me to call back as soon as the class gets over.

In about ten minutes, the class got over. I went outside the class and called him, he received the call immediately.

" Yes, Roshni... Please pack your bag, I am coming home by 2 PM and then we are going to Delhi. " He said.

" But why me?? You can go there. What would I do there? " I said.

" My family wants to meet their new member. My uncle reminded me many times that I must ask you to come with me so that they can also meet you. " He said.

" But... I don't feel like going. "

" Fine!! Call Mihir or Mahi and tell my uncle and aunt why you can't come. " He was getting annoyed.

" Why can't you tell them that I have some exam? " I asked.

" Why should I tell lies... You call them and tell them whatever you want. But my chachu needs my help there and I need to go but I can't let you be alone here. " He said.

" Why?? This haveli is safe." I argued.

" I can stay with my friends while you are not here. " I argued.

" Just, shut up! I don't trust any of your friends so I'm not going to let you stay here with them. So get ready or I will have to pack your bags and take you to Delhi forcefully. You can use Mahi's stuff also if you want. " He yelled.

" You can't do that... ! " I said.

" Oh, god! you have been staying with me for a long time and still, you say that? I will do exactly that if I come back home and don't find you ready with your bags packed. " He said.

" I don't want to go, Manik Ji," I said.

" I don't care, what you like or don't... but you are doing it. I have had enough of your attitude... now stop it, I am already sick of everyone giving me attitude. Just be ready. " He said loudly. And banged the phone.

Oh, God !! He was angry now. It has been a week since they all left after...

During this one week, he tried to apologise to me several times for saying all that before that kissing incident. But I kept my distance from him.

He was very annoyed now and hence I called the driver to pick me up. But his phone was not reachable. So I decided to go back on my own.

Hardik offered to drop me at the home. When we reached home, Manik Ji was already at home. Hardik greeted him but he ignored him and came to me caught my arm and pulled me aside to talk privately.

" Why can't you do what you are told to do? " He asked.

" What have I done now? " I asked.

" I have made the point clear to you that you can only go to college if you come and go with the driver, I can't allow you to move around the city alone when your life is in danger. " He said in a fit of anger, though his voice was low.

" I was not wandering alone on the roads, I tried to call the driver but his phone was not reachable so Hardik offered to drop me home. " I explained.

" If his phone was not reachable, you could have called me. By the way, who is this Hardik to you?? " He asked in an angry sarcastic tone.

" Well, he is my friend."

" Oh! Friend?? What kind of friend? "

" Normal friend! You are not the only one who can have friends. I can also make some friends. " I retorted.

" Oh, yes!! I have seen your friends... one of them was trying to spike your drink. You call them friends?? " He said with a frown.

" Hardik is not like them, he cares a lot for me. So he can take care. " I said.

" Cares for you?? How can he take care of you when he is as old as you are and he is not mature enough to take care of you? I can't let you roam around with someone your age... He is not mature enough to take care of you. "
