Manik's POV

I caught hold of her hand and took her to the helicopter for a new journey.

She was very happy though she missed her parents as we got married and because we got their murderer arrested.

I have been wanting to be alone with her and take her in my arms after all we were married now. She was my bride.

So as soon as the pilot greeted us and took off the helicopter, I pulled her closer to me but still, it felt that she was still thinking about all that so I pulled her onto my lap. She was feeling very scared and emotional because of everything that happened in the past two days.

" What happened, Angel?? Are you still upset?? " I asked.

" No!! But all that is not going out of my mind. I am sorry, I created so many problems by eloping like that on that day. Those people were so dangerous, anything could have happened. Ever Mihir Bhai and Shaurya bhaiya had to face danger. /" She said.

" Stop being so gloomy, it's our wedding day. Let's talk about us only for the time being. So, as Shaurya reminded me, we have a wedding night ahead... we have the official license to be together now and I really want to forget everything else and enjoy having you in my arms. "

" Manik ji!! Stop it. " Her face started gaining color.

" Stop it?? I haven't even done anything, not even started. " I said.

" They will be angry with me, but I am very sure, they will forgive me for giving them such a sweet, cute, and lovely daughter-in-law. And they are our family, love. They would never be angry with you. " I said caressing her face.

" I know, they would get angry with me, might beat me to a pulp, or will not talk to me for some time. If I had been in their shoes I would have done the same thing that I send of the day we are friends we have grown up together I know all of them for more than 20 years. I am sure they would understand me and my love for you. And as it is she was also not very happy being in a relationship with me. " And... " She was about to say something else but I placed my fingers on her soft lips.

" Roshni, can we talk about it later?? "I asked. She nodded shyly.

" So what do we talk about now?? " She said the moment I removed my finger.

" Shut up!! The only male doctor you will consult is Mihir. Because he is our brother. " I said glaring at her

" But he is not a heart specialist."

" Then we will consult Vikram uncle, Vihan's dad. The best heart specialist in India. Don't even think about Vihan. I will not allow him anywhere near you.

" And siddh is also a doctor, I guess?? "

" I swear, If you take the name of any other man now, I will jump from here. " I said getting very jealous.

" Oh, no!! I was teasing you. Sorry!! " She said wrapping her arms around me tightly. Placed her head in the crook of my neck. Her warm breath against my neck, her fragrance, and the warmth of her soft body against me calmed me down immediately.

" I don't like it when anyone flirts with you or when you talk about any one of them. " I said and she smiled like a little devil.

" You don't like it?? Correction! You hate it and become like a raging bull. But I love to see you getting possessive about me. I love you, Manik Ji." She said.

" Then do something to prove that. " I said.

" How?? " She looked at me.

" Show me that you love me. "

" But how?? "

" Kiss me!! " I said devilishly.

" Now? "

" Hmmm! Keep kissing me till we reach Surat." I said teasing her, wanting to keep her mind away from all the tensions. She had gone through a lot and we would have to face a lot of drama once we reach Delhi. I was already tensed, though I knew what to expect. But they have to understand too. I was ready for anything but I would not let her get affected by it.

" But the pilot? " She was shocked looking at me with her big beautiful orbs.

" Doesn't matter, we are already married. " I said.

" But it doesn't look good, he is older than us. "

"Everyone is older than you... So?? "

" Manik ji, please... I am not comfortable. Please. " She said making a very cute face, I could not control it anymore and I kissed her.

She was hesitant for a few seconds but then kissed me back.

It was such a beautiful journey, with love in the air.

We reached Surat and I picked her in my arms and crossed the threshold as my family was not there to welcome my bride for the first time in my home as my wife. So this western tradition was the best option.

She was feeling shy and a bit embarrassed but she was my wife now and I was not answerable to anyone.

" Manik ji, get me down, I can walk. It is embarrassing. "

" No!! You are my bride and I will carry you to my room. "

" Your room??"

" Of course!! Were you planning to stay in your old room?? No way, you are my wife. "

" But no one knows in our family, it is not right. We can't... " She said.

" Shhh!! You speak a lot."

I took her to my room and smiled to see that there were flowers everywhere.

" Oh, my god!! So many flowers?? For me?? " She asked with a very beautiful smile.

" Who else, you stupid? "

" I remember you giving flowers to her, I was so hurt and cried a lot. "

" I am sorry, love, I had not realized my feelings for you by that time. I gave her just a bunch of flowers, but, see I got you the whole flower shopful of flowers. I saw that you got hurt and I felt very bad and started feeling something for you... I am sorry. " I said and hugged me I kissed her again. She pushed me.

" But, when did you get them?? " She asked.

" Wait, the surprises are not over yet. Change into something nice and beautiful for me and I will show you my next surprise. "

" Oh, my God!! Ok !! I am so excited. " She said.

" So am I, beautiful... After all, it is our wedding night. " I said and she turned red.

" I will go and get ready. " She said going towards the door. I caught her hand.

" I need to take a bath and change into something. " She said.

" I need a bath too... "

" So, take bath, you will feel refreshed. " She said innocently.

" Yeah, that's what, I was suggesting. Let's get refreshed. " I said pulling her towards the washroom.

" Manik ji!! No! Please. " She looked shocked at what I said. I burst out laughing.

" Calm down. I don't want to call Vikram uncle on our wedding night. " I said.

" Then why are you hell-bent to give me a heart attack?? " She said.

" C'mon love, we are married... I have a right to talk to you like this... And do all that too. "

" What happened to you?? "

" Spent more time with Shaurya, Viren, and Ron than other friends... As it is you were enjoying their flirting so thought of flirting with you myself. " I said and she smiled.

" But this is not my Manik ji. "

" C'mon yaar, can't I even romance my own wife?? "

" You can, but first let me go and get ready, I am very excited about the other surprises. " She said.

" Let you go?? Where?? You are not going anywhere. This is our room now. Take bath here, with me. " I teased her again and her face turned red like a strawberry.
