Wow.
I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart a massive thank you to you reading this. This story started from a procrastinating re-watch of Teen Wolf during my first year university exams. And I've now since finished university. And despite having finished about 95% of this story during said finals week (in which, I apologise for any and all misspells and inconsistencies - John Stilinksi who?) I uploaded like I was the tortoise.
Except the tortoise took a year long nap and disappeared off the face of the world.
Thank you for all the comments, votes, messages and love. I've been a reader my whole life and now that I'm on the flipside, I can truly vouch and say that all the feedback does mean the world.
Thank you for checking up on me when I went MIA. Thank you for your patience, commitment and grace during that period.
I had written the last chapter with an idea of a Tomei/Klaus spinoff. However, I don't think it fair to lie and say that I think that will get written. Times change, interests change and I can't see myself committing to that.
That being said, I will endeavour to finish . I'm too emotionally invested in Fev to let her go just yet.
These words aren't enough to express the sheer gratitude I have in you, my dear reader, having taken all this time read everything I have written. Fanfic has been such a big part of my life and even though it's not considered as 'great literature' I know the joys it can bring. The Dungeon Boss's Favorite Game - A Virmo Story
Kragathor is the final guardian of the world’s deepest dungeon. He is an immortal pinnacle of existence that is otherwise known as an ancient dragon. And he is terribly bored. Not having been in the situation before, she decides to take the child and raise it herself. Diguising herself as a devil as well, Amethyst goes to a nearby human city with the child to raise it in a more "suitable" environment. Follow along Amethyst and her "adopted" child as they adapt to changing fantasy world with advancing technology, a diverse range of beings like elves and arachne, and the destructive power of monsters and other demons. And of course, they can't just be left to their own devices cause the world is set to turn into an intolerable hellscape if no one does anything about it. Not even Amethyst wants that to happen. *Author's note: this story is a work in progress meaning chapters may get deleted, editing will happen, and chapter releases will be irregular as I'm doing this just for fun. Both challenges to those native to this world, and against other people have come from earth. Author's comment: I'll be uprfont with you on the entire war thing that the description hints at. Yes it will eventually happen, and many of the strange and out of place things in the beginning will tie into that. Not that it will be explained until much later in the novel. In fact the first 100 or 200 chapters will be spent on the main character growing stronger as an adventurer before the entire war even begins to start rearing its ugly head. So for those eager for the war to kick off sorry, but there won't be a big explosive war so early. At least not with the empire (although if you read carefully you may be able to pick up signs of how close the war is with what happens in the story). But the wait (I hope) will be worth it as it will be diving into some of the stuff a otherworlder in a significant position of power could do with the right knowledge. With that little warning over with I hope you enjoy this novel of mine. Its my first actual attempt at writing a story for people to read so please keep that in mind. If you have any criticism please tell me. I'd love to read them and will be using them to help me in improving my writing quality as time goes on. Experience is the best teacher after all.
