Writing a novel alone can be difficult, even for seasoned writers. will help you track your progress, set milestones, and connect with other writers in a vast community.

We have done this contest for over a year now and have helped several writers complete their writing goals. Starting this year, we implemented new word count goals to reach.

There are new goal word counts. We are now doing tiers that you can sign up for.

Diamond Album tier -

Multi-Platinum Album tier -

Platinum Album tier -

Gold Album tier -

This way, you can choose the difficulty of your challenge. (Please note if you chose a tier and don't make it, you can still be awarded a tier sticker you do qualify for. Example: if you chose Diamond and only write 43k words, we will award you a Multi-Platinum sticker and certificate)

Depending on the popularity, we may have to close submissions, and unfortunately, you may have to wait until the next festival to try again, so please sign up as quickly as possible to ensure your spot.

Word count submissions can be done daily, weekly, or at the end of the month. When you are ready to submit your word count, you will tag and submit your current word count. She will add up all your words for you.

Each month we provide a list of writing prompts that can be used if they give you inspiration, but it isn't required. Original work is more than welcome. You also don't have to use a story that is complete. Perhaps you need the motivation to finish your novel. Then, by all means, please submit that novel. The rules are pretty lax here. We're just here to give motivation and encouragement.

The contest is pretty simple, but let's cover a few questions first:

- No, original work is more than welcome. Even work that has already been started may be used for the contest. Just be aware that you will start at zero on the 1st along with all the contestants, and only what you write during the contest may be counted toward your word count.

-No, the contest is open to everyone. All may join, but you might not be able to reap the full benefits of the contest if you're not a Jam Member. (reaching out to fellow participants in our Discord chat)

-Yes, once a week, the word count list will be posted with the updated total of your submitted words. Please keep in mind that if you do not submit your word count properly, then we will not be able to keep an accurate count.

-Most importantly, the gratifications that you completed your word in a month.

-Winner's sticker that is designed for each festival.
