Karl was in love.

So incredibly in love, he couldn't think of anything but Sapnap.

So in love his heart started racing whenever he was talking to him.

So absurdly in love he blushed and smiled whenever Sapnap was just merely mentioned.

Sapnap knew.

He knew by the way Karl smiled at him and blushed at the smallest compliments.

To him it was the most adorable thing in the world and he constantly tried to figure out how to tell Karl he loved him too.

It should be romantic, but not over the top.

It should be something that fit them.

So eventually he picked out an episode of a cartoon they were watching at the moment, in which two characters confessed their love, ordered sushi and called Jimmy to ask him if he could send Karl home earlier.

"So you'll finally confess?" "Yeah, I think it's the right time", Sapnap said and Jimmy chuckled: "I'll send him over. I would wish you good luck, but I already know it'll go well" "Alright, thank you", Sapnap said and ended the call after they said their goodbyes.

Their sushi arrived a few minutes before Karl did and he had just finished preparing everything else and picking out the right episode, as the front door got unlocked.

"I'm back!", he heard Karl and a smile tugged on his lips. "I got us food.", Sapnap said as Karl walked in, "I thought someone as hard-working as you deserves some sushi"

Karl smiled and blushed just the tiniest bit.

"You're so amazing", he said, as he took off his coat.

"You wanna come here and cuddle?", Sapnap then asked, sitting down himself and Karl pouted with a happy expression on his face. "You know me so well", he said and walked over, making himself comfortable in Sapnaps arms, "Is there anything special that I forgot about?" "No, you didn't forget anything, I just... thought this might be nice"

"It is, it's very nice", Karl said leaned his head against Sapnaps shoulder.

Sapnap pressed play on the episode and started going on about how Karl and him were so similar to the characters in the cartoon. All until they finally confessed.

Karl excitedly smiled. "They finally confessed, took them long enough"

"And it took us long enough as well", Sapnap said and Karls eyes widened as he looked over at him. "What?"

"It took us too long to confess too", Sapnap repeated and Karls eyes quickly seemed to search his expression for any hint that he was maybe just joking, "It took me too long to tell you, that I feel in love with you"

Karls lips parted and his eyes teared up as he started smiling. "Really? You mean it?"

Sapnap smiled and nodded. "Yes, I do."

"I'm in love with you too", Karl said and hugged him tightly.

Sapnap wrapped his arms around Karls waist and pulled him closer, before gently kissing his head. "You were very obvious", he then whispered, "It was very cute"

Karl blushed and hid his face in the fabric of Sapnaps shirt, his boyfriends shirt.
