Highest rank. The male leader of the Pack. The only one equal to him is the Luna.
Also highest rank. The female leader of the Pack. The only one equal to her is the Alpha.
The Alpha's right hand man; rank is immediately below the Alpha pair and they are to step in as Alpha when the Alpha pair are unavailable.
Third in command. They are to step in as Alpha when both the Alpha pair and the Beta pair are unavailable.
Usually the former Alphas and Lunas. Also rank high as they have experience and deserve respect.
The healer in the pack, as werewolves cannot go to human hospitals and doctors.
The warriors; the fighters. Males and females (without young children) and always at the front of the army in an attack/raid; directly behind the Alpha.
Have the best sense of smell. Can find just about anything if they put their minds to it. Situated just behind the Enforcers and are well trained to fight as well.
Pretty self-explanatory. They warn the pack of danger and fight only when needed.
Usually only one per pack. They keep the peace in the Pack by breaking up fights. Personality is very mellow.

Lowest Ranking wolves. They eat last and they are the punching bags of the pack. You don't want to be an omega.
Note: in my books, the alpha rank is hereditary, not random. The first born of the Alpha becomes the next Alpha when they become of age. Same with Betas and Gammas. However, the peacemaker, the enforcers, and the lookouts are picked by the elders. Sometimes an Alpha's child could become a peacemaker, enforcer, lookout, etc, depending on what the Elders think is best. Often they are just part of the alpha circle; next in line for Alpha.
Whom the werewolves worship. She created the werewolf race and She is who they pray to and who guides them through life. Sometimes She appears to some in dreams.
The term used when they turn into their wolves. The first shift is painful, but after that it becomes a second nature. Also, wolves are naked as the day they were born after they turn back to their human forms (their clothes shred as they turn from human to wolf, therefore aren't usable when turning from wolf to human).
Short for soulmate. The Moon Goddess destined every wolf with another wolf or a human. She did it to make sure Her race continues to reproduce. Wolves are able to start looking for their mates as soon as they hit sixteen years of age and shift.
Simple: like the wild wolves, werewolves live in packs. Often the pack house is very large and spacious to accommodate the amount of families living there.
What kids are called until they turn sixteen and shift.
Sometimes they're alone and sometimes there's a pack of them. Sometimes they're evil and sometimes they're just wolves without a pack. Evil ones have grey mangy pelts with red eyes.

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (1870) (Completed)
In 1866, ships of several nations spot a mysterious sea monster, which some suggest is a giant narwhal. The US government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist (and narrator within the story) receives a last-minute invitation to join the expedition. As the expedition travels south around Cape Horn into the Pacific Ocean, the crew finds the monster after a long search and then attack it, but the ship is damaged with the three main protagonists thrown into the water. They are quickly captured and then meet the enigmatic Captain Nemo. ~ Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne and was originally published in 1870. The novel was originally serialized between March 1869 and June 1870 in Pierre-Jules Hetzel's periodical, the Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation. An illustrated edition, published by Hetzel in November 1871, included 111 illustrations by Alphonse de Neuville and Édouard Riou. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is regarded as one of the premiere adventure novels and one of Verne's greatest works, along with Around the World in Eighty Days and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
