Katsuki sat on the rooftop. After completing training, he wanted fresh air, clean air, so he chose a high place to get what he craved.
UA had a lovely view, Katsuki and his friends would often find themselves sitting there and watching the sun go down.
Yet this time he sat by himself. No particular reason really, he didn't think to ask them to join him.
Yet even when he was supposed to be alone, basking in the beauty of the sky, he felt someone else there.
Who else was with him?
Was it a friend?
How could it be? They would have made themselves known, they were the life of the party after all.
A teacher? They would have scolded him for being up there during such hours, and without permission.
An extra? Why would they want to bother him of all people? Everyone knows that he is quick to upset. They usually tend to avoid him.
So who was watching him?
The stare felt familiar, almost as if he didn't mind the lingering eyes.
Katsuki sat for a while, basking in the fresh and warm sunlight, just waiting for the lingering eyes to make themselves known. To expose the body that holds those eyes back.
Katsuki wasn't sure how long he sat there, but soon he heard tiny, gentle footsteps approaching.
Katsuki kept his eyes closed, letting the warmth of the sun shine in his face as the lingering eyes softly sat next to him.
They stayed there for another five minutes before Katsuki decided to speak up.
"It's nice for you to join me, Izuku." Katsuki said as he opened his eyes to look at the boy who sat next to him.

Izuku gave him a crooked smile, "You knew the whole time?"
Katsuki shrugged, "It's not hard to figure out who it was, you have a staring problem after all."
Izuku smirked, "May be a problem for you but it's always helped me."
Katsuki nodded ever so softly, closing his eyes once more. "Haven't seen you in a while."
"Hoping I finally killed myself?"
"Not particularly."
Izuku laughed, threw his head back into the winds, the wind whispering like prayers that burned against his ears. Katsuki smiled, it felt like they were children again, before they received their quirks.
"You know what today is?" Izuku asked as began to stand from where he was sitting.
Katsuki nodded tenderly, "You did say you would only visit me on such an occasion."
"We grew up together, why don't we die together?"
"That's true. What if I told you, I no longer wish to do that?"
Izuku smiled, "You know I can't change that, and nor can you."
Katsuki smiled, "I know, I just wish you could meet them, or I could say goodbye."
"They seem like good friends."
"They are."
They both stood at the edge, Katsuki was a bit hesitant, he didn't want to leave the ones he loved behind, but next to him was lost love he was finally reunited with, to fulfill a promise they secretly made so long ago.
"Are they better than I?"
"No, nobody is better than you."
Izuku smiled, took a hold of Katsuki's hand and gently guided him towards the edge.
"If that's the case," Izuku said as the both leaned over the edge staring at the ground below. "Why not now?"
The hesitance was clear, true as day, but the warmth of Izuku's hand calmed Katsuki's racing mind. The gentle tug to just fall became slightly firmer, almost urgent.
Katuski nodded, putting his complete faith in a companion he craved to see again after he lost him so long ago.
Soon the tug finally pulled him over, the wind was now screaming in his ears. Katsuki's eyes opened, tears forced from his eyes by the pressure of the fall.
Soon tears fell faster, yet no fall had caused these.
A pity.
"I love you."

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
