《The Feral, Alpha K》TWENTY EIGHT

." A smooth male voice, like a devious snake, drew my attention. It could only be the Sun God, I'd grown accustomed to hearing it.
The Moon Goddes remarked as she sent him a small glance as if she was unimpressed.
The Sun God tried to justify as his eyebrows tightened in a challenge. He was just as terrifying as I remembered, looking completely poised in his midnight black and blood-red attire, fit for a God.
The Moon Goddes looked as regal as ever.
The Sun God gave a devilish smirk before replying.
The Moon Goddes rolled her eyes before she shot back at him in a slightly raised tone.
He seethed.
His outburst, however, had no effect on her.
He displayed no signs of backing down but urged her to continue.
She seemed almost pained by this revelation, regret seeping from her pores.
The Sun god scuffed as if her reasoning was absurd to him.
I interjected, quickly garnering their attention.
You could call me crazy for snapping at the literal Gods of all supernaturals but it was their fault for haunting my dreams.
The sun God chuckled at my outburst whilst the Moon Goddess studied me carefully. They almost seemed stunned that I had even spoken up.
I whispered more towards her, why does she hate our bond? Why must soul less live without mates? The one lady in charge of fated pairs hated and despised my own.
She spoke carefully but the pity in her voice was more than noticeable.
The sun God tsked his tongue before rolling his eyes. My breath hitched as he made his way over to me almost instantly. I shuddered as I tried to keep my composure from his aura. The Sun God was a taboo subject for werewolves, the ruler of everything evil and vampires.
His voice dropped an octave as his aura consumed me. His piercing eyes caused my blood to run cold. I felt like I couldn't breathe but I nodded nonetheless.
He spoke darkly as he reached towards me.
I jolted awake as I sucked in as much air as I could, I frantically glanced around only to realize I was alone, lying in Klaus' bed within the pack house.
My skin felt like it was burning and my throat was so dry, I felt my heart pound in my chest wildly as my wolf became restless. I took in deep breaths trying to soothe myself with the remanence of his scent.
I stumbled on shaky knees as I made my way towards the window, it was morning, or maybe the afternoon. I couldn't tell with all the dark storm clouds rolling in.
I spotted hundreds of pack members moving around in different directions, the men carried around weapons and supplies while the women gathered food, blankets and small toys and books which I assume are for the pups.
It was odd to me how none of them seemed worried, the women smiled and laughed in groups amongst themselves, whilst the pups ran around playing and laughing as if thousands of people weren't going to be slaughtered on this land tonight.

I groaned as I began to feel as if burning up from the inside out, I dashed into the bathroom quickly turning on the shower, before stripping out of my dress.
I knelt slowly, as the cool water made the pain lessen. It was clear to me with each passing second that I was in heat. My entire being was yearning for Klaus for I knew it would solve this feeling stirring deep inside of me.
I needed to find him, I wanted answers. I wanted this to all stop. I quickly turned off the shower and dried off, my temperature was rising again. I brushed my teeth and towelled dried my curls.
I entered his closet in hopes of finding a shirt of his to wear but was shocked to see several bouquets of red roses, each one more beautiful than the last. There was a red gift box with a letter placed on top of a counter. I picked up the letter slowly knowing who had left it.
Nalu, unfortunately, I am unable to be there when you wake up. I am occupied by matters that need my attention but as soon as I have time I will come to you. I need you to be strong and wait for my return.
Wear the gift I bought you for our special night, the colour will look delightful against your lovely skin.
-Klaus
My eyes widened in shock at this revelation, and quickly I placed the letter down before grabbing the top of the box. I gave a small tug before I squealed as the shiny silk material was revealed.
My fingers skimmed the red lingerie as I admired the intricate designs. I wasted no time as I slipped on the matching set with the silky floor-length robe.
I waltzed back into the bedroom before I suddenly could feel all the nerves within me heightened, anticipation caught in my throat I stared at the massive wooden doors. With each passing second a pull tugged within me making me want to run through the door to be closer.
I knew exactly who it was, my wolf paced, eager for me to let her out. I held my breath with all my restraint knowing that she'd readily give in to him at any moment.
The door flew open in rush, our eyes connecting at once. The air knocked out of me as the urge to go towards those piercing red eyes. With each step he took my heart pounded rapidly in anticipation, the closer he got relief and bliss filled me.
I shamelessly took him in, observing his wavy looks that were dishevelled and spiked in the right places, a few strands falling forwards to frame his face. His jaw was clenched to match the fiery gaze in his eyes; full of intent.
He was dressed in black leather that had intricate designs and rigged spikes along the seams of his shoulders. To say that he looked deadly was an understatement.

I didn't shy away from letting my eyes roam over every inch of him. My throat was dry and he was surely the drink I needed. Closer, I wanted him closer.
I noticed the slight twitch at the corner of his mouth, and he almost smiled. He must have heard me.
As soon as he was in arms reach I leapt into his embrace basking in the euphoric feeling of his presence. My legs wrapped around his waist as he held me. I could feel the sparks between us, flowing through the both of us.
He brushed the curls out my face before grabbing my jaw so I could look at him. I was astonished by how marvellous he looked from this proximity. His breath fanned my face, causing me to zone in on his plump red lips.
Just kiss me already.
He smirked in response before running his thumb across my bottom lip. He asked slowly, the sound of his voice sent a shiver down my spine.
Did he always sound this sexy?
I whined as grabbed a hold of his collar as a means to pull him close. I wasn't even sure what I wanted but I knew he could give it to me.
He held his ground, observing me under those sharp eyes with a raised eyebrow. He was enjoying this, I was going mad with each passing second.
He swallowed as his eyes roamed all over me, he took his time gazing down at my full chest covered in the red lacy lingerie he had chosen for me. The robe had risen to the point where you could almost see the lacy underwear. His eyes travelled lower, zoning in on my hips and bare thighs.
I wasn't going to waste this opportunity. I grabbed a hold of his hand that was on my chin before flattening it against my thigh. I leant forward trying to steal a kiss.
I yelped as a felt a tug on my hair causing my head to tilt back. Klaus wasted no time before he swooped down and began to run his nose against my neck.
?" He teased in a seductive tone that only made a shiver go down my spine.
He pulled on my curls harder causing me to yelp. I nearly melted when he placed a wet kiss over my mark. I was shaking like a leaf in his hold, his touch was absolutely addicting. I'm sure I was red in the face and a panting mess.
His voice laced with dominance sent me over the edge, I was losing it.
He grabbed my chin gently before angling my face towards him. His red eyes shun with adoration and lust, a dead giveaway that he was just as infatuated with me.
Even drunk of the haze of him I didn't take me long to figure out what he was referring to. I muttered defeatedly, it was humiliating, to say the least. I didn't care if my words stung, knowing him they wouldn't. He'd made it very clear that he'd take whatever he wants, even if it was my every thought.
He stayed silent for a bit, those red eyes watching me carefully He gritted out before brushing another curl out of my face. He looked to be conflicted or choosing his words carefully.
I of all know he never expresses himself. I stayed silent as I moved my hand to caress his strong defined jaw, a silent encouragement for him to keep talking.
I whispered as I relaxed in his hold, his own body went slack against mine making our bodies mould together perfectly. He nodded slowly before taking a deep breath.
I furrowed my eyes in confusion before abiding by his request.
I did as was told but couldn't see the point of doing this.
What is the purpose of this?
I tried to focus as much as I could but I didn't feel anything until I suddenly became aware of his presence in my head. He was brooding hiding in plain sight all along. I couldn't understand how I didn't notice before. I was able to take him out, no longer in my subconscious but I could feel him lurking, At a reachable distance. I could call on him if need be.
So this is how he can hear me?
I opened my eyes looking up at him for confirmation. His eyes observed me scanning my face for a reaction. I nearly scoffed knowing he could no longer hear me, I could feel how uneasy not being able to hear my every thought made him. He likes to be in control of everything. It was clear that this was done for me, an attempt to give me peace of mind; A truce even if it pained him.
I would acknowledge this effort gratefully. I felt like a reclaimed power over myself.
His arms tightened around my waist as he carried me to the couch.
I squealed as he sat down and hiked my hips so I landed right on top of him. I could feel his want for me pressing against my aching core. This was only making matters worse for my deteriorating sanity.
He shot me a sly knowing grin before his hands on my hips pulled me impossibly closer and his hips grounded to meet mine. My stomach spazzed in anticipation as my core throbbed for more.
I leant forward placing my balled fist against his chest. I couldn't keep it together anymore.
He growled with a dark glint in his eyes. I glanced up at him with my determined browns before swooping in for the kiss that I deserved.

Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.
