《karlnap and dnf stuff》karlnap

They were the most popular couple at school. It was like one of those american high school movies.
The football captain and the cheerleader.
Sapnap and Karl.
But they weren't just popular because of their roles at school, but because they were nice to everyone. They helped at the charity events, tried to cheer people up after exams that didn't go well and they made everyone believe in true love.
Because they wouldn't hide that they truly loved each other. They kissed and made each other compliments, looked fondly at the other when he was talking and more then since had they been seen slow dancing in the hallway or on the empty football field after training or a game.
Tonight was one of those games. The most important one for Sapnap, as tonight he could be the lucky one to get a scholarship.
Karl had given him a good luck kiss and said: "You're gonna win, I know it" "I already won, because you're in love with me", Sapnap replied and Karl smiled, "You look fantastic in the cheer uniform by the way. You're so pretty, darling" "You're so sweet", Karl mumbled and kissed him again, "And now go win this and get that scholarship"
Sapnap gave him a kiss on the forehead before following his team onto the field.
Karl and the cheer team started going through their routine one last time.
The game went well, the cheer routine went smoothly, when sudden Karl was pushed up as a flyer and lost balance, as he slipped from the others hands.
He fell and the rest couldn't catch him in time, hitting the ground with a loud thud, that was even louder then the cheers of the crowd.
Sapnap had just caught the ball, when he saw Karl fall. He dropped the ball and started running over. His team mates shouted after him and the crowd started booing, but he didn't care.
He didn't care about the crowd, about this win or the scholarship.
He cared about Karl.
He rushed up, fell to his knees next to him and saw the tears of pain in his eyes.
"Someone get the fucking paramedics", he yelled at the people around, furious that it hadn't been done already.
He gently reached for Karls hand and asked: "What happened?" "Slipped, fell on my back, it hurts", Karl pressed out between gritted teeth and squeezed Sapnaps hand, "You shouldn't be here, go and win the game"

"Absolutely not. I'm staying with you, no shot I'm leaving now" "But the scholarship, you were so close", Karl said, but Sapnap stood persistent and leaned down to kiss his forehead. "You wouldn't believe how little I care. I'll stay right here by your side. They can play without me" "Without their star Quarterback?", Karl asked with a slight smile and Sapnap shrugged. "They can give the kids on the bench a chance", he said and finally the paramedics arrived.
Karl was brought to the hospital and just as Sapnap followed the paramedics to the ambulance, Dream held him by the upper arm. "Are you crazy? You can't leave! This game is important!", he said loudly, but Sapnap pulled his arm away.
"Karl is hurt and I don't give a fuck about the game!", he said and looked at Dream shocked, "What if George would've been the one to get hurt? Would you continue playing?"
Without waiting for a reply, he turned around got into the ambulance, sitting next to Karl, who was laying on a stretcher.
He kissed him and held his hand.
"This is very scary", Karl confessed quietly.
"Don't worry, I'm here. I'll be right by your side to hold your hand", Sapnap said and Karl gave him a slight smile. "I love you"
"I love you too, darling"
"Okay, we have to give you an IV when we arrive. What arm would you prefer?", the paramedic asked and Karls eyes widened.
"Non. Preferably", he said panicked and squeezed Sapnaps hand so hard it almost hurt. "You don't have to be scared, it's just a needle." "That's the problem" "Well, you will need one, for pain medication."
Sapnap kissed the back of his hand and caught his gaze. "You will be alright.", he whispered to him, "I can kiss you when they give you the IV, so you won't even notice that much" "Yes, please", Karl replied, voice shaking, desperate for any solution.
In the hospital they sat in a room with a nurse who had prepared everything for the IV. Karl was nervously picking on the seam of his cheer uniform, until Sapnap gently took his hands and kissed his forehead.
"You're so brave, darling", he whispered, "I know how scary this is for you, but you're so, so brave" "I don't want it", Karl sobbed and Sapnap nodded, suffering with Karl, as he whispered: "I know and I wish I didn't have to tell you that you have to"

"I'd say we get it over quickly", the nurse said and sat down. Karl hesitated as he put his arm out and quickly Sapnap grabbed his attention. "You're so pretty, you know? I feel like I don't tell you enough", he whispered and kissed Karls forehead, before he continued, "We'll dance together on the field when you're out of here again, yeah? I know you were really excited for that" "Yeah, yeah I was", Karl confessed and his breath hitched when he felt the needle touching his skin.
"You wanna tell me again why it's so special to you?", Sapnap asked and Karl almost smiled when he said: "Because we do it after every game since we were fifteen. I love dancing with you, because I know we'll do it at prom and at our engagement and on our wedding and someday in front of our kids when we show them that love is real"
Sapnap smiled and kissed him. "I love you so much, darling", he whispered fondly.
"I love you too", Karl replied and suddenly the nurse rolled back on her chair.
"And done", she said and Sapnap smiled at Karl. "See, you're so brave", he whispered and caressed Karls cheek with his thumb, kissing his temple. Karls breath was still shaky as he slowly tried to accept the weird feeling in his arm.
"And just so you know there is no needle anymore, it's a little plastic tube that connects the IV to the vein. So don't worry, you can bend it however much you want", the nurse said and he nodded. "Okay", he said and started following the soft, slow breathing pattern that Sapnap had.
He was hooked onto a liquid pain medication and after it had run through, he was send to the X-Ray.
"Good news, there's nothing broken. You just have a small rupture in a muscle. We will give you a tape fix for it and teach you how to do it and you aren't allowed to do any physical activity for the next few weeks.", the doctor finally said and then looked at the IV, "I'll send in a nurse to take it out, because we have the blood test results already and everything looks good and the pain medication seemed to have helped enough already"
He closed the folder with everything and stood up. "I wish you a quick recovery, I'll send in the nurses and they'll show you how to do the tape and everything else"
"Okay, thank you", Karl said and then felt Sapnaps hand gently squeezing his.
"I'm so glad it's no big injury.", he said and kissed Karls hand, "I'm so glad you're okay"
Karl smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I'm very glad too, cause that means we can go and dance together" "The doctor said no physical exercise" "It's not like we're dancing salsa, love. Just a bit of swaying left and right. That's alright. I'm very sure", Karl said and Sapnap smiled back at him.
"You're right, I'm just worried. I just want you to feel better as soon as possible", he said and Karl kissed his forehead. "I know, love"
"I'm so tired", Sapnap then mumbled, leaning his head against Karls shoulder.
"Me too, I can't wait to go home with you and cuddle", Karl replied and yawned, head leaning against Sapnaps.
About an hour later they sat in the backseat of Karls dads car, after he and Karls mum had picked them up. "So everything is alright?", he asked and Karl nodded. "Yeah, but I'm very tired now"
"I can tell", his dad said and chuckled, "By the way, thank you Sapnap for staying with him. We couldn't make it, because of work, but we knew he'd be okay when you were there"
"No problem" "Wasn't this the game for you scholarship?", Karls mum suddenly asked, "Are you sure it'll be okay?"
"No worries, Karl is worth much more then a scholarship and knowing I could help him stay calm and feel safe is the most important thing", he said and Karl smiled fondly. "I love you" "I love you too, darling"
