Opening her eyes, Ye Feng's gaze suddenly turned downwards, to the parosal tree that she had been standing on for the past thousands of years, as anger suddenly appeared on her face.
Even though the Parosal Tree was quickly growing as a result of her breakthrough, Ye Feng knew that something was not right with it, causing her to suddenly stare at its roots.
"Bugs?" mumbled Ye Feng with a confused expression on her face, as a ball of fire suddenly appeared in her palm.
Then, after a few moments, Ye Feng suddenly turned her palm towards the ground, letting the small ball of fire fall out of her hand and begin sinking into the ground.
As the ball of fire sank into the ground, it suddenly touched the roots of the parosal tree, before quickly spreading to all portions of the roots, destroying any bugs that had begun gnawing on it.
Even so, the Pheonix fire did not harm the roots of the Parosal Tree at all, even slightly strengthening them.
Suddenly, a small bug enveloped in a ball of fire appeared in front of Ye Feng, causing her to begin examining it.
After a few moments, Ye Feng felt the aura of a very unfamiliar Dao on the bug, causing images to suddenly flash before her eyes.
"How can bugs use the Dao of Devouring," mumbled Ye Feng as she looked through the inherited memories she had just obtained, the frown on her face deepening.

Looking at Old Man Liu's body slowly but surely regenerating, with some withered branches falling of and being replaced by new ones, Xiong Zihao breathed a sigh of relief.
Even though he wanted to leave this cursed place, after a few moments of thought, Xiong Zihao suddenly took out a few formation flags, placing them in a weird pattern around the enourmous Willow Tree.

Merely a few moments later, a large defensive formation was suddenly created around the Willow Tree, protecting it from harm and letting it regenerate.
'Old man, you can't blame me for not creating a permanent formation can you?' thought Xiong Zihao, when suddenly, something caught his eye.
Looking at the tiny flame, which passed through his formation with ease and was traveling towards the willow tree, Xiong Zihao suddenly took action.
Burning some of his blood essence, Xiong Zihao suddenly appeared next to the flame at a speed far beyond his usual capabilities.
Merely a fraction of a moment later, Xiong Zihao suddenly took out his sword, which was now coated in a blue aura.
Suddenly, Xiong Zihao coughed out a mouthful of blood, causing his face to suddenly become pale, but at the same time, the blue aura on his blade suddenly transformed into a type of water.
And not wanting to give the caster of this technique any time to react, Xiong Zihao suddenly swung his blade, enveloping the fire in a mere moment.
"How is this possible," mumbled Xiong Zihao as he saw the flame being completely snuffed out by his sword, without any resistance.
'Something that could go through formations with such ease shouldn't be this weak,' thought Xiong Zihao as he suddenly turned towards the enourmous willow tree.
Looking at the tiny flame, which was burying itself into the willow tree, Xiong Zihao felt a chill in his heart, as unlike the last flame, he could not see this one using his spiritual sense.
But before Xiong Zihao could do anything else, he then saw something utterly miraculous happen.
The Willow Tree, which was slowly but surely regenerating merely moments before, seemed to have completely gained new vitality.
In merely a few breaths, over half of the tree had completely regenerated, not only from the damage it had sustained right now, but even all of its hidden injuries, which it had sustained throughout the years.

Suddenly, Xiong Zihao felt a warm feeling appear in his chest, causing all of the blood essence he had just burned to return.
Feeling this, Xiong Zihao suddenly remembered a certain legend he had heard long ago.
"Phoenix fire," mumbled Xiong Zihao with his mouth being left gaping as he felt all of his injuries suddenly regenerate.

Inside of a secluded valley stood a young girl, laying all alone on a field of grass with her eyes closed, enjoying the heat of the sun.
Feeling as if the sun washed over her, Cao Ling couldn't help but feel gradually lose consciousness, eventually falling asleep, and as such, turning back into her true form, a blade of grass.
[Host, although the sun is useful towards increasing the effectiveness of your cultivation technique, sleeping is not]
As soon as those words rang in the mind of the blade of grass, the young girl suddenly reappeared on the field, but unlike before, her relaxed expression had transformed into an angry one.
'System, what can you even do, all you are doing is destroying my dreams of relaxing without any worries, you shameless system even removed the shop' thought Cao Ling as an angry expression appeared on her face.
[The purpose of the Grass Raising System is to help young blades of grass focus on cultivation and to not let them become salted fishes, the shop was merely something that was added to help them when they were weak, of course it would be removed, but do not worry host, if you reach the Major Trancendance Realm, I will not pester you anymore]
Hearing the shameless words of the System, Cao Ling couldn't help but fall into deep thought.
'So, do all Grass Spirits reach the Major Trancendance realm? Or do you pester them all of their life?' asked Cao Ling as a mocking expression appeared on her face.
Hearing those words, the Grass Raising System felt like it had just eaten shit.
'Why did I lie without thinking about it,' thought the Grass Raising System as it suddenly felt like it should go fight someone.
Thinking about it's creator, who had abandoned it, leaving it with no resources to put into the shop for Cao Ling to use, the Grass Raising System felt like it could fight against it for a hundred rounds with ease.
