《Until I Found Her》XIII. Keep Your Promises

Keep Your Promises
I don't get why he's hating her and why she's hating him, they should kiss and make out. Wait no, I said it wrong.
I was currently sitting next to Miguel and Madeleine while Mason was sitting next to Walker Scobell who plays Timothy Vaughn who is Rosemary's little brother, Miguel was on face time with his girlfriend Iris and he was filling her in on everything.
Madeleine was trying to get my mind off of the fact that the boy actually hated me now, I hated him way more than he thinks I do and if he thinks that I'm going to get all depressed because America's sweetheart hates me then he's dead wrong.
"Wait, so now they both hate each other but they play lovers in the movie and there's no way in changing their roles? Now that's just golden, i gotta tell my best friend."
Iris chuckled, I was quick to plead with her and let her know that I didn't want her to tell anyone about this as this could get out to the public eye and I just didn't want that, if I wanted people to know my hatred for Mason then I would have posted about it on my Instagram story and even tagged him if I felt bold enough.
Hating him didn't bother me, the vein that popped out of his forehead was pretty warming enough to me and the fact that he's gone out of his way to mutter mean things to mean during break on set was enough for me to realize that have mutual feelings for one another.
I don't get why he's hating her and why she's hating him, they should kiss and make out. Wait no, I said it wrong.
Iris muttered, Miguel laughed and told her that he would call her later tonight as he was being called on set for his scene along with Madeleine, I say goodbye to Iris and then watched as my friends walked onto the set.

Walker walked onto the set as well as he was also supposed to be in the scene along with them, Mason took this chance to get up from where he was and walk over to me.
I only rolled my eyes and took my phone out, if we were going to exchange something rude then we can do it without trying to make any eye contact, eye contact makes me feel a little bit weird and I just don't want to do it.
"You know, I never noticed how stupid you sounded whenever we're acting."
Mason broke the silence, I looked at him and rolled my eyes, that was the best thing he could come up with at the moment? He's obviously never been in an argument before with someone, and if he had been in one, I'm guessing he was the one crying.
I scoffed as well, I could have come up with a better insult than that or even start an argument better than that, I would happily give him tips on how to hate someone correctly.
"It's been quiet for twenty minutes and that's the best starter for an argument you've got? You must have been so amazing in arguments."
I smiled sarcastically at the boy, he scoffed and chuckled at me, I hated how he didn't even try to piss me off, that's what set me off even more.
Sometimes I want to grab any of his pimples, pop them with my long nails and then pour acetone or lemon juice on the wound, but I have to just stop and remember that this would not have happened if I would have shut up and explained myself better.
"Okay so I'm not good at insults or anything but I'm a way better actor than you."

Mason retorted as he got up from his chair, I scoffed at his sentence and got up as well, if he wants to have an argument standing up then let's have an argument standing up.
"You've been in two movies and think you're better than I am?! Don't make me laugh Thames."
I seriously should shut up at this moment and not say anything stupid but I couldn't help myself, I walked up to him closely where my face was up to his chest.
"If you think you're better than me, I'll make you eat your words. I hope your character dies in the movie and I get to watch you suffer."
I didn't mean that, but he didn't need to know that.
"Stay out of my way Y/n, I mean it."
Mason lowered his head down and whispered that sentence in my ear, I won't lie, that sent shivers down my spine and get goosebumps, but it only made me more annoyed.
"Is that a threat or a promise?"
My voice was lowered just so we don't draw any attention to us, Mason looked around and I'm guessing he met eyes with someone because his hand snaked its way around my waist and he brought me closer.
"It's a promise, stay out of my way if you know what's good for you."
Mason spoke, when whoever was looking, looked away, he removed his hand away from my waist and shoved my backwards before walking away like an idiot.
I know what's good for me Mason, but do you know what's good for you?
I thought to myself and walked to my trailer, making him pissed off was better than winning argument with him, and if he just made a promise to me, then he better keep it.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
