《My Superhero Fantasy》Gemage part 2

Ascending rapidly from the ground, Gemage was in a gentle, ordinary standing posture, and Jack was rolling up-side-down slowly in the air. “Huh, huh, huh, huh…….” the boy breathed speedy, attempting to calm down. “I thought I told you to keep your balance,” Xilix giggled and grasped Jack’s shoulder, “You’re fine?” The boy finally stopped rolling. He said with a bit after-startle excitement, “Yes, sir.” His voice shook with a slight grin.
They could see the jungle in shadow becoming farther and farther away. The grey metal wall in front of them blocked the sunshine. They could see a rectangular glass tube was lying on the wall. It was the elevator to go in and out from this upper-air nation. Unfortunately, the elevator hadn’t been used or cleaned for so long that it was covered in dirt. A ladder was hundreds of inches away from the elevator. The ladder was made of metal sticks that were bent and stuck on the wall.
“Point me the way,” Xilix put Jack down as they finally got into Lazary. Jack reached out his arm and pointed at the front. Xilix looked around the surroundings. Most of the houses were sheet houses. Some were even just sheet rooves with four sticks underneath. Then, he saw an immense factory and a brick-made mansion far away. “Ugh,” Glanexeem sighed at this rotten city and flew toward the direction that Jack pointed as fast as he could, like a flying falcon. Xilix saw people being sad, horrified, angry, and miserable along his way. He could see about twenty to thirty people fighting with pieces of iron sheets, rods picked up from the ground, hammers from the factory, and powerless bare hands. Fighting with this group of people, another twenty to thirty people in neat red and blue uniforms were using powerful standard rifles, forceful standard rifles, and formidable standard rifles. Rifles couldn’t provide a lot of advantage in a melee fight.

“That’s why I am here.” Xilix looked expressionlessly at the battlefield under him. He looked at these people who were too busy killing each other that they didn’t notice that a man was flying in the air. Xilix’s heart bumped faster as he got more and more aroused and excited. It was his destiny to help people. It was his duty to save these pathetic people. It was him who was going to bring peace to people. It was him who a god was. He took out a cube from his trench coat. The shape of the cube looked like a two-cubed Rubik’s cube, but it was colorless. Every side of every piece of the cube was a square frustum. Blue and orange gems were inlaid next to each other on every leg side of the frustum. Orange and blue light leaked out from the cracks between different pieces. The light formed fibers that swayed, and the extremities drifted into nothing as the wind blew.
Xilix tossed down the Rubik’s cube. As the cube fell to the ground, all the cracks became bigger immediately. All eight cube pieces were pushed out, and what was caging in the cube was finally released. Spates of marigold lightning broke out from the cube and crashed toward every fighting man. Every spate was made by a tadpole-like laser at the middle and numerous orange thunderbolts surrounding it. The lightning went through the gaps of pairs of fighting men, the intervals of both sides’ enemies, the breaches of man piles. The shock wave of the lightning shoved everything that formed the gaps, intervals, and breaches away. All men pushed up into the air were surrounded by shining royal blue particles left by the bolts. The particles threw all the men in uniforms to one side and others to another, with his cube in the middle like a borderline. He landed fast but gently next to his cube. He looked silently at the ground, then faced the people in rags. He said nothing but soon turned to the men in uniform. His eyes were full with void and only void. No emotion could be read, except ruthless and arrogant in his vacuum.

Not sure from where, but a man in the uniformed crowd shouted, “Retreat!” The twenty-men squad quickly got back from the ground into a complete queue again. They escaped as Xilix and the rest of the people stared at them. “Who are you?” a kid stepped out of the crowd and said. His steps were full of strength and gallantry but also a string of elderly steady. Xilix turned back with an expressionless face.
“What should I reply? Uh…… What am I going to do after this heroic landing?” Xilix fell into a meaningless internal panic, “I can tell him a very cool codename, like Gemage, or I guess I should just tell him my real name.”
“You may call me Glanexeem,” Xilix treaded forward a few steps and continued, “I’m not your enemy. I am here to help you people.” Xilix had both hands in the pocket, probably having something in his hands, likely to be a dangerous trick.
Glanexeem saw the man in front of him. He was a teen, skinny and short. His height wouldn’t be above 4 feet and 11 inches. Still, he sounded like a worrier who experienced a long life and spent most of them in miserable battles. The density of his voice and that slight sense of exhaustion couldn’t be ignored.
“Where do you come from?” the old teen glimpsed at the worriers behind him. They were hurt, injured, wounded, and as weary as their leader. “Retreat, Grakoi. I will be back soon,” he murmured to a skinny black man behind him with his eyes staring at Glanexeem and head half-turned. The man bent down to his waist to hear what his leader said. “Retreat!” the tall skinny man shouted and vigorously pricked his quarterstaff on the ground.

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel) V2.
Andrew William. A perfectly average boring name for a perfectly average and boring boy. He wasn't particularly smart nor gifted. Not in academics nor in sports. He wasn't even as good as the other losers and "nerds" in his school. He could not remember the expansive lore of Star Wars, he could not recite the dialogue of Startek nor pull off any cool one-liners and quotes, and he couldn't beat the final level in most games without resorting to cheating or mods. All he had was half-assed knowledge of pop culture and comics, but the one thing he was good at, his one and only pride and calling in life? Making Youtube videos. No, it wasn't sad! He was actually quite popular, honest! He made videos of adventure and nature, although it was mostly of the creepy variety. Abandoned hospitals, old mines, long tunnels, and undiscovered caverns. And as ironic as it was predictable, it would, of course, turn out to be the reason that he died. Well, at least he could take comfort in dying doing what he loved, not many people these days could say the same, you know? The concept comforted him at least, but it turns out death is not always as permanent as people liked to think, because Andrew somehow found himself in New York City of all places after falling to his certain death in the Devil's hole, Death Valley Nevada., only thing was it certainly wasn't the New York that he knew of. The Fantastic Four? Stark Industry? Captain America's biography? Oh boy, and did he mention he's no longer human? His Asian friends had introduced him to the wonders of Isekai novels and mangas, but isn't the order a little messed up? Where's his meeting with the sexy and nice Goddess? Where was his intro or tutorial?? Explanation plz I'm a noob at cross-dimensional travel! Help? Setting? Menu? Status? May I please get to pick my own cheat power? No? I'm stuck as a virus? Well, At least the Prototype Virus was pretty darn cool and OP. Just not as op as being able to casually break the sound barrier in my sneakers or bench pressing the earth, but I'll just have to make do. Please don't be some fucked up Marvel continuity where Nazis and Hydra won or some shit. Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore

Steve was supposed to care for the antichrist, and not let the guy get addicted to MMORPGs. But Steve claims that a terrific sandwich will awaken the bloodlust in the antichrist, and so he joins his companions on a road trip to find the most delicious, most evil, most apocalyptic-inducing sandwich of all time... and maybe a taco.
