Chapter 15, Cooking With Dahlia and Venus
IT'S SAM AND ELLA DEE, SAM AND ELLA!
"I'm very bored, and hungry. I'm bongry."
Venus stated to both Charlotte and Dahlia, the sun was gone and the stars were out which meant Hallow and Mia were outside in the backyard to stargaze for a while, Charlotte being the second oldest which meant that they were right now in parental control over these two, allowed them to go the kitchen and cook whatever their tiny hearts desired.
Dahlia washed their hands with Venus and watched as Venus walked over to the cabinets and fridge to check what they were going to cook, but they were a little indecisive.
"Can we make chicken quesadillas? That literally is all that my stomach wants."
Charlotte suggested so that the girls didn't get frustrated with themselves, which luckily agreed with them and decided to grab the ingredients that were needed for chicken quesadillas, Venus would take care of the cutting of the chicken and Dahlia would cut up whatever that the girls wanted inside of their quesadillas.
When Venus grabbed the knife, Charlotte made sure to watch closely so that Venus didn't cut themselves on accident or cut the chicken the wrong way and get angry, Dahlia was in her own little world cutting up lettuce and tomatoes.
"Okay chickens done, I'm gonna put it on the pan so it could cook."
Venus informed both Charlotte and Venus, Angel walked into the kitchen and sat down at the counter to watch the girls cook as they were also hungry and really wanted some quesadillas.
"Alright, I'm going to wash my hands because I don't want to have or give Sam and Ella."
Venus spoke nonchalantly, Dahlia stopped chopping up the ingredients and looked at her best friend as if they had actually hit themselves with a hammer and completely forgot how to pronounce something so easy.

"Do you mean, Salmonella?"
Dahlia questioned as she washed the knife and then washed her hands, Venus shook their head and told them once again that it was Sam and Ella not Salmonella, Charlotte didn't really bother asking or stopping the argument from forming.
Angel decided to pull her phone out and began to record because this was just like a cooking show, except more funnier and barely any cursing because Hallow doesn't allow any cursing in the house.
"Venus, it's called Salmonella, you sound dumb saying Sam and Ella."
Dahlia once more corrected her best friend as the they grabbed a spatula and continued to move the chicken around just a little bit so that they didn't get burnt on either side, Venus was getting aggravated at this point because they believe that they were correct.
IT'S SAM AND ELLA DEE, SAM AND ELLA!
Venus raised her voice which caused Charlotte to burst out laughing and turning her back on the girls to have a moment of laughter before turning back around and telling the girls to calm down, Hallow must have rubbed off on them.
Speaking of Hallow, Hallow and Mia walked back inside from the outside and walked straight upstairs so that they could take a shower and then participate in conversations with their bestfriends and roommates.
"Okay time to put the chicken and whatever we want inside of the tortilla and then placing it on the pans so it could melt all together."
Charlotte spoke as they took initiative so that the girls didn't get burnt or hurt, Hallow seriously did rub off on Charlotte but the girls didn't really mind it.
Hallow walked down the steps with wet hair sticking to their shoulders with fuzzy plaid pants and a grey muscle tee, Mia was still in the shower.

"We cooked chicken quesadillas for everyone, we were pretty hungry."
Venus grinned as they handed a big quesadilla to Hallow with a light pink plate, Hallow took it without any questions and smiled at the girls before walking to the dining table, Charlotte took a light blue plate with their quesadillas, Angel took hers, Venus and Dahlia took theirs and sat at the table with the others.
Mia came down from the shower and told her that they had a quesadilla waiting for them at the counter and that they should join them.
"I'm going to post this video of you two arguing about the pronunciation of salmonella, what should I caption it?"
Angel asked after taking a bite out of their quesadilla, Venus and Dahlia looked at each other and shrugged as if they were speaking with their mines like Mia and Angel would do.
Not quite literally, but it was what it had looked like.
"Cooking with Vee and Dee."
Venus suggested as they finished their quesadilla and walked to the kitchen to place their plate in the sink before walking to the living room to watch some TV, Hallow obviously sent the girl back to go was the dish that they had left in the sink.
Angel nodded her head and began to post the video with the caption that they wanted before tagging both girls and then turning their phone off.
When everyone finished their food, they did their dishes and walked to the living room to spend some time together.

Observations of the Nameless
Sometimes the world will just whirl by without a care for its inhabitants. Each passing day bring a new experience unlike the one before it. Why do we do anything... That's a really good question, isn't it? Author's Note: Each chapter is about 300 words, so that's the reason for the short story tag even though this will be a (somewhat) ongoing series. Expect an update twice a week on Tue/Wed and on Fri/Sat. No set time, but likely afternoon or evening.

The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
