Chapter 19, Vance Slander
What's funnier is the fact that Vance flew faster than a balloon being deflated.
Hallow was walking closer to the younger girls to be a little protective of them, when they finally got to the seesaw, everyone was starstruck as the people in front of them were in fact the black phone cast.
Nobody knew how to greet one another, so they two friend groups stood staring at each other which eventually led to Brady clearing his throat and looking at each of us before his eyes landed on Mia.
"It's nice to meet all of you, I guess there isn't any need for any formal introduction, we all know who everyone is."
Brady joked which made half of the girls smile, Mia was already swooning when Brady kept making eye contact with her, Hallow found it adorable as she herself couldn't maintain eye contact with Tristan, who was also nervous.
Now the question is, who was going to be bold enough for ten shy people meeting for the first time?
There was such a strong and awkward silence, Hallow decided that if nobody would be going to make the first move then they would have to.
"We should have prepared more over text, the one thing we did forget."
Hallow joked, that was enough to spark a conversation between everyone as they confessed how nervous they were to be speaking to one another, it looked like a big group of friends just hanging out.
Everything came naturally and soon enough everyone was split up and at different areas of the park, Hallow and Tristan were sitting at the benches getting to know each other, Charlotte and Jacob were at the slides because they both are childish, Angel and Miguel were at the monkey bars trying to get on top of it, Mia and Brady were still at the seesaw laughing at each other, Venus and Mason were by the swings with Madeleine and Dahlia, racing to see who got the highest.

I'm not someone to eavesdrop on a conversation, but Mia and Brady were getting real close that my ear so happened to fall right by the seesaw and I had to hear what was going on, and let me tell you, the moves were on.
At this point Brady and Mia were walking around the park, not wanting to stay at just one spot to have a conversation which is understandable as there wasn't much to do at the park when your friends are also around.
When they were walking around, Brady slickly brushed his hand near Mia's and they slowly held hands which summoned the butterfly demons in both of their stomach, it was a cute way to do it though.
The conversation had switched from topic to topic, and currently, Mia was dragging Vance Hopper at the moment but not in a rude way, it was making Brady laugh.
"You're a funny girl, I like that about you."
Brady complimented Mia, Mia could feel her cheeks heat up and go a light pink.
What's funnier is the fact that Vance flew faster than a balloon being deflated.
Brady laughed at Mia's joke and together they walked circles around the park, just having a conversation on what they love to do and if they were happy with what they were currently doing.
Hallow was the only one to notice with Tristan how happy and how close Brady and Mia were, it made Hallow feel like a proud and happy mother that everyone knew she was.
Tristan was a little shy to speak to Hallow, he wasn't sure what to say without making her feel uncomfortable or feel as if it was weird to speak to him, while Hallow was worried about the same things and doing the same things.

The two couldn't have been more similar to one another, except Hallow was more warmly to Tristan and initiated the conversation.
Angel and Miguel were hanging upside down from the monkey bars talking about what they loved to do for fun and what made them really happy, Angel eventually told Miguel that his acting was amazing and that she had cried during the scene of Robin and Finney in the basement.
Miguel couldn't help but smile at that, the way Angel glowed whenever she spoke to him and whenever her eyes lit up the whole world whenever the topic that she's most interested in came up.
They eventually got down from the monkey bars but the bond that blossomed on there was something to never be forgotten.
Charlotte and Jacob were still being complete children and playing tag, it was like they had been childhood best friends and were already used to being around one another.
Their friendship came more naturally than others as they didn't feel any awkwardness around each other, it was adorable to watch Charlotte laugh harder than they normally would because Jacob was just a fun person to be around.
Jacob took notice of how pretty she looked whenever they smiled and seemed to smile just as big, it was really adorable, that's what it was.
Venus and Mason were still on the swings, talking about his new movie, they were both excited for it to come out and in the heat of the moment, Mason invited her and their friends to come to the premiere as the others would be coming as well.
Mason was just a bubbly, funny person which matched Venus's personality, Mason couldn't stop joking about different things and Venus couldn't stop laughing at his laugh.
Together the two were a perfect pair, they knew how to make each other laugh and when to take the conversation much more serious when it was needed.
Dahlia and Madeleine were getting along quite well, but they were a little shy around one another and that wasn't like either of the girls, Madeleine was a funny and out there girl while Dahlia was a funny and more kept to themselves type of girl.
Madeleine noticed how shy Dahlia was, she tried to lighten the mood with some jokes and then they went into some conversation about the black phone.
To sum up everything, the girls got along well with the black phone cast mates due to the chemistry that had been set in the stars from the beginning of the day.
It was like, someone wrote this in their fate that they would be just an amazing group, maybe even more.
But what do I know? I'm just a narrator.
