Sometimes you get on my last nerves, but you help me a lot when I didn't think that I needed it.
~ Third Person POV ~
The argument between Angel and Hallow had gotten out of hand to the point the two girls didn't want to speak to each other, they have been eating at separate times and hanging out with the other girls instead of each other, now how do you fix this issue when the one who fixes all of the house issues, is the one involved? It seems like mission impossible to me.
Charlotte pulled the girls who weren't involved in the issue into her room and closed the door, locking it and sitting on the bed to come up with a plan to get the girls to forgive each other and realize that they are so much better together, but they also have to do it discreetly so they don't realize what was going on.
"How are we supposed to fix this issue when Hallow is the one in it? We have no skills in fixing problems whatsoever."
Dahlia began as she sat next to Venus and held the girl's hand, Venus smiled at the hand holding and then engaged into the conversation.
"Thanks for the hope Dee, really love that from you."
Charlotte retorted sarcastically, Dahlia gave them a thumbs up before looking around the room, they have never been into Charlotte's room before, never found or had a reason to go into the room.
As the girls hid out in Charlotte's room to come up with a plan, Hallow was downstairs trying to find someone to speak to when Angel walked downstairs as well.
The only thing the girls did was glare at one another, going to the opposite sides of the house just to be away from each other, nobody knew why Angel was angry, they just knew that she was angry.
Mia had a small light bulb that went on and she jumped up excitedly, all the girls turned their attention to her and watched as she carefully explained her plan.

"Hallow can't resist her motherly instincts to help out someone in need, Angel can't resist helping out Hallow when someone's in need, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Mia smiled at the girls, Venus shot up and smiled.
"We move to Florida and live with the crocodiles!"
Venus beamed, Mia furrowed her eyebrows and just thought of a million ways on how that sentence killed almost all of her braincells, Charlotte shook her head slowly.
"No, we need you two young girls to pretend you got hurt just so that they come to your rescue and last minute, run out the room."
Mia explained, the plan was a well thought out one but the only issue is that the only room in the house that locked from the outside instead of the inside was the basement, and you'll be damned if you think Dahlia and Venus were going to go head first down into the unknown.
Venus's eyes bulged out of their head as she shook her head vigorously, Dahlia agreed with Venus because what type of young girls wanted to play hurt in a darkened basement, it's like they didn't learn anything from horror movies.
"No, hell no, hell no."
Dahlia spoke, the girls weren't going to do that even if you paid them or bribed them with endless door dash, the basement was a big no-no for them and they meant it.
"Make sure the light doesn't go out and the Boogeyman tries to eat you alive!"
Charlotte cackled as they shut the door after turning on the lights so the younger girls didn't get hurt in the dark, Venus held onto Dahlia's hand tightly and together they walked down the stairs.
A million curses went through Venus's mind as they reached the last step, Venus took out her phone and told Charlotte that it was go time for the plan.
"Girls?! Are you okay?!"
Hallow shouted as they ran down the steps, Dahlia was laying on the ground near the small window on the wall near the left and Venus was sitting down with fake tears, Angel rushed down the steps with the first aid kit.

Venus told Angel to go check under the table of the toolbox because they had a matching necklace with Dahlia that was under there, Dahlia said the same thing and when the girls went to check, all the girls found was blankets, pillows and three boxes of food and water.
"What, the hell?"
Hallow muttered to herself but when they went to ask the girls what the boxes were doing there, Dahlia and Venus booked it up the stairs and slammed the door shut before locking it, Angel looked at Hallow and raced up the stairs.
"Open the damn door! Vee!"
Angel shouted as she banged their hands against the door, Charlotte and Mia stood next to the younger girls and watched as the doorknob jiggled and listened to the shoutings of Angel and Hallow.
"Dahlia sweetie, come open the door, please."
Hallow spoke sweetly, Dahlia walked away with Venus knowing that if another sweet word was said to either of them, they were going to open the door and ruin the plan which was something that they couldn't do.
"We're no problem solvers but, solve this issue and we'll let you out."
Mia stated before walking away from the door with Charlotte, Angel was furious while Hallow was impressed by the fact the girls came up with this plan.
She would make sure to bring this up when they got out of the basement, if they actually came out of the basement the same night they were tricked into going in.
"Why are you so angry with me, Angel? What did I do?"
Hallow finally asked breaking the uncomfortable silence between the two, Angel rolled her eyes and looked away not wanting to answer the question but God knows how badly she wanted to answer as well.
Angel sighed and looked at Hallow.
"Because you're you, Hallow, you're Hallow the great and everyone looks up to you, you see how Dahlia sees you?"
Angel finally responded, Angel wasn't jealous of Hallow, but sometimes best friends could feel as if they were the second option to every which meant that these angry feelings begin to consume you until there's not left to consume.
Hallow didn't understand quite yet.
"When the girls feel like they failed, they go to you without a fail, to look for wisdom. I wanted to also be approachable like that."
Angel said as tears brimmed her eyes, making them look just as glittery as the star always did in the night, Hallow didn't want to go over there because they didn't understand but hearing the full part, she got up and walked over to Angel.
Pulling the girl into a hug and rubbing her back, Hallow understood what it felt to feel like a second option, she knew how left out that could make a person feel.
"I'm sorry, y'know? I didn't mean to take my frustrations out on you, I should've spoken to you instead of doing that."
Angel apologized as she wiped away her tears and smiled at Hallow, Hallow smiled back at her.
Sometimes you get on my last nerves, but you help me a lot when I didn't think that I needed it.
Hallow joked, little did they know, all of the girls had unlocked the door and stood there at the top of the steps, listening to the girls apology.
Angel smiled at her best friend before playfully shoving them away from her, Hallow laughed as they hugged the girl again.
"You're a literal dumpster rat."
Angel retorted before hugging Hallow back, it was good to know that Mia's plan worked out as well as they believed that it would, sometimes a good lockdown with someone you have an issue with is a good thing.
Everything resolves itself.

The words repeated themselves over and over again, forcing him to answer without the chance of taking it back. Armed with a borrowed sword and cheap armor that looked like wood, he said aloud without hesitation, “Yes!” The altar hummed, a green light flickered in the surroundings, and Tus ceased to exist.

Shattered World: New Game +
Monsters have appeared and are attacking. The only hope for humanity are the gods who have come to help them. Granting their chosen the power and abilities to fight against the onslaught. Almost like a video game. Specifically, the video game Shattered Earth. A little too specifically like Shattered Earth? [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Some things about this story. This is a brutal world and a gory story, the gore is described. It is also NOT a power fantasy. This story depicts an Apocalypse, and humanities attempts to overcome it. There is more stuff to be noted that are different but those would be spoilers. Just know, if you are going into this expecting a litRPG power fantasy save the world story, you will not find it.
