《The Nameless Warrior *New Cover*》We Accept Your Help, Daughter Of Aleda

Kindra spent the night in the Breen's hut after Abigail insisted. Bryant refused her hospitality and spent the night high in the trees where he felt reasonably safe from the Tarrin. At dawn, every able-bodied man who was willing set out from the village among the tears of their wives and mothers and followed Kindra up the South River to the pass.
Kindra's face itched and burned, and when she tried to scratch it through the hide, pain webbed its way through her skull. She was miserable leading this army to her death, but she would not run like a coward and leave her sister with Pike. Not after Kaye risked her life to get Fennec's spear to Kindra.
She was caught up in thoughts of the battle to come when a woman dropped out of the sky before her. Kindra jumped back into Bryant before she realized who it was.
"Celeste?" Bryant said as she looked from the Gaerlom spears bristling around them to Bryant and the spear in his hand.
"We cannot condone war," she frowned deeply, eyes still on the spear. "But we can help the injured. All of the injured." Her eyes moved to Kindra's. "Yours and theirs."
Kindra nodded and Bryant spoke again. "What about the Lady?"
"She will not stop us from healing those we can."
Kindra's good eye scanned the trees behind Celeste. "Us?"
Celeste looked up and an uncomfortable rumble went through the Gaerloms at the sight of a few dozen Faye hovering silently above their heads. With the aid of their wings to retrieve the injured, the chances of the Gaerloms getting out safely were a little greater.
Kindra looked to Celeste again. "I cannot stop you from healing the Obsidians, but don't pull me out. I don't care how injured I am—leave me in the battle. I will not be flown out and saved this time while my tribe falls around me."

Celeste bowed, wings straight out behind her. "Agreed. I will see to your face when we get through the pass."
Kindra turned to the Gaerloms and eyed them. "If anyone has a problem being healed by one of the Faye speak now. Otherwise, keep your weapons to yourself and follow me."
Not a single man said a word. Timin looked quite in awe, and Kindra turned back to Celeste. "We accept your help, Daughter of Aleda."

Life is Feudal
No OP stuff, status bars, levels or skills. This story is in favour of more realistic setting in a world of humans and various monsters. "Behind the mask of the assertive, resolute facade that employs ruthless routes at any given moment, lies the frail, anxious heart that were once but a puny human. Reviled and revered by many, none would ever know my true allegiance lies within myself, merely trying to survive this mess." Just the life of a grumpy man child living in a terrible piece of shit or a desolate state in which I call an alternate historical take on medieval Europe. Living as a peasant who is forced to take up arms to defend his own kin. This story grants an insightful take on the life of people living under constant danger, from vying nobles who commit atrocities in the name of justice, eager nations and barbarians aiming to take a piece of the bountiful land and mythical divine monsters who resembles a walking catastrophe in any possible way. [If you're easily offended by alternate-history religion and cultural practices, then you shouldn't read this.]

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com. This piece of work, after all, is only a first draft and by no means an end product by an amateur (beginner) writer. Mistakes are bound to happen. With that said, I will strive to improve as I write. Feel free to point out errors and inconsistencies as you read. I thank you for your time. Finally, I pledge to not rewrite this novel until the first draft is completed.
