《Moon Princess》98

As I lay in bed beside my sleeping mate, Alpha Jimin, the calm atmosphere of our pack enveloped me. The moon shone brightly through the window, casting a soft glow in the room. The silence was broken only by the sound of Jimin's gentle breathing. I hugged him tightly, feeling the warmth of his body next to mine, and gave him pecks all over his face, as tears gathered in my eyes without my realization.
Jimin's relaxed expression was a sight to behold. It was in moments like these that I was reminded of how lucky I was to have him as my mate.
" I love you, " I whispered softly to him, before getting up from the bed.
As I quietly slipped out of the bedroom and into the closet, I searched for comfortable clothes. I grabbed a pair of black leggings and a grey hoodie. I slipped the hoodie over my head and zipped it up, then pulled the hood over my hair. I took one last look at my sleeping mate, then left the room, gently closing the door behind me. My heart was racing as I made my way down the hallway. I felt restless and needed to escape the confines of the pack.
The sooner I got out, the better.
I could feel my wolf instincts taking over as I ran towards the pack's border. My forms are ready to take action, and I began to create a ball of magic in my hand. It was a powerful spell that would make everyone within a certain radius faint for an hour. I knew that this was a risky move, but I was desperate to escape the pack.
As I approached the border, the guards watched me with confusion. They had never seen me act like this before. I could feel the ball of magic in my hand, ready to complete its effect, but before I could aim it at the guards, I heard a fierce growl that shook the ground. It was Jimin.

" Stop there, Clara! " He barked.
My heart raced as I forced my legs to keep moving forward. I knew that I had to complete the spell before Jimin could stop me. My eyes were set on the guards who were blocking my path. I aimed the ball of magic at them, hoping that it would take them down. The spell hit its target, and a couple of the guards fell to the ground, while others managed to escape my attack.
" Fuck! " I cursed under my breath as I realized my magic had failed to take down all the guards.
I knew that I had to be quick before Jimin could catch up to me. I began to create another ball of magic, but before I could cast it, I was surrounded by the guards who had half-turned into their wolves. They snarled in warning but kept a safe distance between us.
" Stop playing around Luna, let's go back! " Jimin's cold voice cut through the tension in the air, and I turned to face him. His eyes bore into mine with a deadly warning. I stood my ground, with no emotions on my face.
" I don't want you all to get hurt, get away from me and let me leave from this pack! " I warned them, watching every one of the guards around me dead in their eyes.
" Alpha, she has used witch powers, I guess she is a spy from the witches who has come to avenge the dark witch! " A guard spoke up, his voice laced with suspicion as he looked at me warily.
" That's not true, " I said firmly.
" But if that's what it takes for me to leave this pack, then yeah, think whatever you want! " I continued, rolling my eyes.
" See Alpha she isn't our Luna who loved us, she is a spy from the witch and we have to end her life! " The guard said as his eyes darkened as he started to come towards me with a snarl as the guards stayed back unsure of what to do.

I was about to punch him but stopped when I heard his voice.
" You lay a hand on my Luna, and I'll make sure your punishment is beyond your wildest nightmares, " Jimin said to the guard, his voice low and dangerous.
" I don't care who you are or what your rank is in this pack. If anyone so much as scratches her, you'll have me to answer to. " The guard swallowed hard, feeling the weight of the Alpha's words bearing down on him.
The guard bowed his head before going back and standing with the other guards.
" My dear Luna, aren't you tired? Come, let's go back! " Jimin said with a wide grin on his face just as a Psycho, he said so sweetly that the guards around me winced.
" Stop there, Jimin! " I said using my hybrid voice, looking at him dead in the eyes. I could see the confusion on his face, but he covered it with a scowl on his face.
" I am leaving, and nothing will stop me, even you! " I said with a growl, ready to pounce on anyone who dared to get in my way. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, and I knew that this was a dangerous situation.
" My, my, Luna, aren't you becoming braver day by day! " Jimin said, his eyes glinting with amusement. He chuckled darkly, and I bristled at his condescending tone.
" Don't patronize me, Jimin, " I spat.
" Fine then, you want to leave this pack, fine then you can go! " He said with a wide grin while the guards around me stood behind him, while I looked at him confused.
" You can leave, my Luna. I am not stopping you, see! " He said with a silly smirk, looking at me with a wicked glare. I blinked in surprise.
" That's easy! " I thought, turning around hesitantly. But just as I was about to take a step forward, Jimin's voice stopped me.
" But! " He said, circling me, keeping a distance. My heart sank. I knew it couldn't be that easy.
" But what? " I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
" You have to fight my guards and get away from this pack by yourself! " He said with mocking tone.
My mind raced as I took in the reality of the situation. These were some of the strongest and most skilled warriors in the pack. I had never fought with a crowd that was so skilled in fighting while I did it just as a time pass. It would be impossible to fight them all and escape. But I am a hybrid, I can do this. As I looked at Jimin, I tried to discern any hint of compassion or mercy in his eyes. But all I saw was coldness and amusement. My fear turned to anger, and I clenched my fists. I refused to be intimidated by him.
" Are you serious? " I spat out, my voice trembling with a mix of fear and anger.
"Can't you just let me go? You have to make me fight for it?" Jimin's expression remained unchanged.
" I want to see what you're made of, " he said, a hint of challenge in his voice. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. I couldn't let him see my fear.
" Fine, " I said, my voice firm.
" I'll fight them. But if I win, I get to go free. No more games, no more tricks. " Jimin smirked.
" Agreed. But don't expect me to go easy on you, my love. You know how much I love a good fight. " I glared at him but didn't say anything. I turned to face the guards, my heart pounding with adrenaline.
This was it.
I had to fight my way to freedom.
