《World Of Swords》43 : Thoughts

As she was walking back to her cave abode, a frown appeared on Xu Yue's face. The frown persisted as she spent more time thinking about things.
Thinking about what she had just done, a complicated looked appeared on Xu Yue's face.
"I should work to be less easily angered " though Xu Yue as she examined her possible weakness.
As she thought of this, she bit her lower lip. The mere thought of suppressing herself made her coil back in disgust.
"Why should I suppress myself? " asked herself Xu Yue.
"If he didn't want to die, he should just have been stronger than me " said Xu Yue to herself, causing Xu Ming, who was protecting her, to frown.
"She's a bit too extreme " thought Xu Ming as he looked at the deeply in thought Xu Yue.
It was unknown what Xu Yue was thinking. As she continued walking, her frown ceased to exist, a smile appearing in its place. Even though the smile looked innocent, those who had seen what she had just done would feel a chill in their hearts looking at it.
As she was climbing to the top of the mountain peak, the look on Qin Lei's face as he was being tortured entered Xu Yue's mind.
Remembering the look of pain expressed on the soul as it was being tortured made something appear.
A tangled look appeared on Xu Yue's face as she realized something.
"It felt so good..." mumbled Xu Yue as she remembered the feeling of torturing Qin Lei. Unconsciously, her senior sister entered her mind. As it entered, Xu Yue couldn't take the image of her senior sister being tied up and at her mercy from her mind.
"I shouldn't think of doing that " mumbled Xu Yue as she tried to suppress her thoughts, but evven so, the more she suppressed them the stronger they became.

"Calm down " said Xu Yue lightly, after a few minutes she finally managed to calm down and continued walking.
After walking a bit longer, she entered her cave abode. A few moments later, she sat crosslegged on her bed, meditating.
Three hours later
"I really was frustrated " mumbled Yue as she looked at the injuries on her body, several large gnashes with blood flowing from them, presumably created by being gripped by a hand with long nails.
In the real world,
While she was sitting crosslegged, Xu Yue was sorting out her thoughts.
"I was too irrational " mumbled Xu Yue, who was in deep thought.
"People trying to restrict me had caused me to silently become angrier and angrier " thought Xu Yue.
"I should try to restrain myself. I'm too weak to be acting like that " said Xu Yue to herself lightly. Even though she knew that this was not the best option, suppressing herself when she was still weak was the only thing she could do.
"For now " mumbled Xu Yue as she was in deep thought, her Dao Heart remaining completely steadfast.
After sorting out her thoughts for a few more minutes, Xu Yue contacted her master.
"Are you really sure about doing this?" asked Feng Shuchun, unsure of why her disciple was asking her for Buddhist sutras.
"Yes master " said Xu Yue, with an unperturbed look on her face, masking the deep chaos below.
After talking with her master for a few minutes, several jade slips appeared in front of Xu Yue.
"Just a bit, just a bit... " mumbled Xu Yue as she unwillingly sent her spiritual sense into the jade slips, if she did not sort out her problem on her own, others may try to do it for her.

After this, Xu Yue continued living monotonously, practicing swordsmanship, divination, pondering Taoist scriptures, and now even chanting sutras.
But as she had reached the Soul Enlightenment realm, and her need for sleep had completely disappeared, she could now spend even more time training her swordsmanship.
Five months later,
A serene Xu Yue was sitting crosslegged in her cave abode.
"This should be enough " mumbled Xu Yue.
"I probably won't torture people to death if they mildly annoy me " mumbled Xu Yue, satisfied that she reached this level.
"It's about time for that tournament " thought Xu Yue as she got up and walked out of her cave abode.
As she was walking, she contacted her master.
"Did those sutras produce any results?" asked Feng Shuchun, quite interested in what Xu Yue did with them.
"They were quite effective " said Xu Yue without going into any detail.
Of the three sutras given to her by her master, the Lotus sutra was the most effective in helping her, while she almost threw the Diamond sutra out of her cave abode because of how much it annoyed her.
"Master, isn't it time for that tournament? " asked Xu Yue, this was the reason she had even exited seclusion in the first place.
"It will begin in around a month " responded Feng Shuchun.
"You should come to my cave abode " said Feng Shuchun after a few moments of silence.
As she was walking towards her master's cave abode, Xu Yue already knew why she was asked to go there.
"Master " said Xu Yue as she bowed to her master, up until now she had been talking with Feng Shuchun using spiritual sense, not meeting in person.
Feeling her master's gaze warn her, Xu Yue stopped bowing and merely sighed.
"I have a few treasures for you to protect yourself " said Feng Shuchun before handing Xu Yue a spatial bag.
"You will need to give me those three back " said Feng Shuchun, not saying which treasures she referred to.
Looking at the three most powerful treasures in the bag, Xu Yue's heart warmed, she knew that these were her master's personal defensive items which she had let her borrow.
"Thank you, master " mumbled Xu Yue, being truly thankful.
"Be careful to not get hurt " said Feng Shuchun as she hugged Xu Yue.
"I understand " replied Xu Yue, fully prepared for all the dangers that could be out there.
"Master, can you give me some techniques that involve karma? " asked Xu Yue, wanting to use the remaining time to so if any Dao of Karma techniques could improve her combat power
A few moments later, Xu Yue exited her master's cave abode with a jade slip in her hands, looking back at her master's cave abode, for some reason, Xu Yue bit her lips.
She then slowly walked back to her own cave abode.
As she entered her home, Xu Yue sped up as she walked to her bedroom, cultivating karma techniques did not require much space, being comfortable was more important for her, she then sat crosslegged and sent her spiritual sense inside of the jade slip.
