ELLA's mom once told her about a boy

on a boat in the ocean, whose only

friend was the moon. one night, the

moon is gone and the little boy cries

until the sun comes up. when it does,

he demands for the moon to be

returned. the sun says it will only

return the moon if the boy gives up

his boat. the boy agrees, and the moon

does nothing but watch when he

realizes that he never learned how to

swim.
