Katsuki regrets asking for spice. For now he watched his friends win a battle not worth fighting for.
.
.
.
Katsuki watched as his loved ones fought for his freedom. It wasn't an unusual situation, just a different place every time.
Katsuki was cascaded aside, knocked over once more, his arms itching to be freed from his confinement.
Katsuki was alone, his loved ones battling with the villains who once watched over him, leaving him to struggle against the chains that held him back.
The decaying villain though was nowhere to be seen, or he was at least out of Katsuki's visions. Which wasn't hard, Katsuki's main view was the floor and his occasional glances at the battle.
Katsuki lifted his gaze from the ground and looked up at the fight. He looked at his friends with a soft smile, he truly did appreciate them. He looked around for his Boyfriend, meeting his almost urgent gaze. Katsuki smiled, warmth in his chest bloomed as his boyfriend mouthed with a loving look, 'I'm coming, just you wait.'
Katsuki loved those comforting eyes, the same eyes that send comfort as he awoke from the monsters that littered his dreams.
The same monsters that riddled his life.
"Ya know kid, we go through a lot of trouble to get you."
Speaking of monsters.
"I don't care." Katsuki spat as he looked up to stare Shigaraki in the eye.
"Yet you are nothing but a pain in the ass to deal with. Doesn't matter if it's the stupid heroes coming to get your ass or just listening to you speak, you are annoying." Shigaraki spoke as he began to push Katsuki's head further into the ground with his foot.

Katsuki gritted his teeth in pain, "I don't care."
Shigaraki made a tsk noise, "Oh, but you are gonna care."
"Look hand job, who is winning? The low lifes or the kids? It looks to me like the kids." Katsuki cackled, the blood that once gushed now dried all over his face, his teeth painted pink.
Shigaraki shrugged nonchalantly, as he crouched down, "Maybe so, but you and I both know there is no fun winning without a prize."
"A pri-" Katsuki began before he felt the fingertips of the decaying villain barely grasp around his throat.
"Look, don't get me wrong kid, you'd be a great addition here, but you aren't worth the time and effort. I got better shit to do. If we can't you, neither can they." Shigaraki whispered, three fingers that barely grazed his skin turned to five, more small chips of decayed skin began to fall.
Shigaraki gripped harder, small chips grew much larger.
Katsuki's vision blurred as he watched his loved ones fight for a battle that they could never truly win, a battle that Katsuki was destined to lose.
Katsuki wanted to scream out, wanted to call out and get the loving look that he craved. Katsuki tried, but the tight feeling in his throat kept him from uttering a word. It felt as if food was stuck in his throat, the dull pain, and the semi struggle to breath.
Katsuki gasped, his pathetic last chance to gain the attention of the comforting look that once lulled him to sleep peacefully, to keep him safe from the monsters that found home in his mind, the ones that were never fiction.
Never to leave Katsuki alone.
As the black blobs of Katsuki's vision grew larger, he finally got the attention he wanted. The loving look he wanted to see again.
The comforting look from his boyfriend that helped him sleep so many nights before, doing its job again, this time allowing Katsuki a peaceful rest for eternity.
The loving look that will now forever look horrified.

Beneath No Sky: Chronicles of the Atmospheric Sector
After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama. Multiple POV protagonists and lots of unnecessary detail. Somewhat psychological. My first work on this website. Living With Magic
Arthur, a young magician, is struggling with crippling social anxiety. The issue has reached a point where he likely won't graduate from University. Reaching a crossroads, he must decide whether to try and return to a family he despises or make his own path in the world. Is the magical power he has actually beneficial in the real world? Authors Note: I'm terrible at writing a synopsis, but over time I hope to write a better one. One of my favorite series of books is the Magicians by Lev Grossman and I hope to follow that same line of thinking within my story. How would a society built around magic actually exist and is power and magic actually as great as other stories make it out to be? The story and characters will be completely original and I will try to update the story on a regular basis. Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Vampire
Reed escaped his village, in order to flee from his mad father. Take it from there. ... Hello. This is my first novel, so please do be patient if there are any errors or holes in the story. Also, I'm not sure how many chapters this story will have, and it has no planned end. I currently don't have a release schedule. I will be releasing whenever I finish a chapter. The chapters are rather short as well

Summoning America
Entirely cut off from Earth, the United States finds itself in a scientific impossibility: the entire country, including the continental landmass and separated states and territories, was transported to another world. Unlike Earth, this new planet boasts phenomena unknown to science. Magic reigns supreme in this new region of the universe, bolstered by the natives' own scientific progression. Monsters roam wastelands and dungeons, subsisting off unfortunate travelers, local fauna, and sometimes even entire towns! Ambassador Samuel Anders is tasked with contacting the various nations and entities of this new world. Despite his best attempts at diplomacy, the arrogance and hostility of the natives prove to be an unnavigable barrier. War is the only alternative. Eventually, fears surface regarding an ancient evil: the Ravernal Empire. How will the United States handle the threats of this new neighborhood? What magical wonders will its adventurous citizens find? This Summoning Japan inspired work will follow the United States as it is summoned to a New World. The story will begin with the United States’ initial encounter with the Rodenius continent. Although starting similarly to the original story, Summoning America will begin to diverge greatly as the war against the Lourian Kingdom comes to an end. For the context of this work, I expect that you have already familiarized yourself with the original piece, “Summoning Japan” also known as “Nihonkoku Shoukan”.
