The next day, Ilario went to Queen Agnes’s Treehouse as the schedule. He saw Queen Agnes was waiting for him instead of Mr. Mercury.

“Good Morning,” said Ilario, he surprised to see her here.

“Hello. How was your training yesterday?” Queen Agnes asked kindly.

“The body training exhausted me so much. I ached all over,” Ilario said.

“Yesterday, I felt magic power which as same as Helius. Was it you?” Queen Agnes asked calmly.

“Yes, it was me. I think it did something unconsciously. My body ached so much and I thought I wanted all the pains be gone. Afterward, there were the lights all over my body and all the pains were gone,” said Ilario honestly.

“I thought that you need to learn all of magic theories first but turned out that you can use magic power instinctively. I didn’t feel the power exploded. But I think that you should learn how to control your magic power before learning the other magic theories. I’m worried that you might get hurt from magic exploded because you have too much power in the weak body,” said Queen Agnes intensely, “let’s go to the training ground. I will teach you by myself to day.” She led him to the training ground.

“Firstly, let check your power control. So, I can appropriately adjust the lesson to you,” said Queen Agnes kindly.

“Do you remember the feeling when you ate gold apple? There must be power circulated inside your body at that time.” Queen Agnes asked.

“Yes, I do” Ilario said.

“Think about that power and gather it on your hand. Slowly release the power and activate water magic like this,” Queen Agnes was explaining while raising her hand, and activated a small water ball.

Ilario tried to concentrate. He gathered the magic power and imagined about small water ball as same as Queen Agnes did. The water slowly shaped to be a small water ball. He succeeded to activate magic power at first try.

“Good, I think that you have talent. I can see why Athena Goddess chose you. The young elves spent 3 months at least to succeed in power control. Next, try make a bigger one like this,” Queen Agnes said and activated a big water ball.

Ilario concentrated and activated the bigger water ball as she did. He also succeeded it easily.

“Try to make it shape like this one,” Queen Agnes said and activated water magic power in shape of hummingbird.

He activated water magic power in shape of hummingbird but it looks slightly different from Queen Agnes. He thought that his imagination might be different from her.

“Did I fail?” Ilario asked.

“No, you didn’t. I think you got the idea how to activate magic power. Gather, imagine, and then activate. You’re clever,” said Queen Agnes calmly, “the important thing that you need to know, your emotions have the great effect on magic control. The more you stay calm, the more you can control power well.”

“Could you please tell me about the cause of magic exploded?” Ilario asked curiously. He wanted to know and avoid the risks.

“There are many causes. It’s easy to occur with people at young age, especially the one who has high magic power like you. It can trigger by strong feeling, going berserk, and using the advance magic power when your body still cannot handle it well. Aside from emotion, you should not mix your magic power until you reached the age of 8. The mixed type of magic powers are advance magic powers. It can easily make the magic exploded. Activate one type of magic power one by one in the meantime,” Queen Agnes said.

“Do you want to try the other element types?” Queen Agnes asked.

“Yes, I’d like to. But before that, could you please explain more about light magic power? How many abilities? And what’s different between light and holy? As my knowledge, it looks like the same kind of power.” Ilario asked curiously.

“For light magic power, there are ‘Solis’ the ability to burn and melt everything like the sun, and it can get rid of the Dark Magic Power, ‘Visibilis’ the ability to see through all the darkness, dark magic core, and dark energy, it’s up to level of magic power possessing, the more you possessed higher power, the more you can see through the darkness, ‘Cursus’ the ability to boost stamina and magic power, ‘Ardeat’ the ability to burn in wavelength and make huge damage, the mixed magic power types from Solis, lightning, and Fire. There are 4 main abilities, as far as I can tell. You will learn and develop more abilities by yourself as time goes by. It’s Helius’ power, that’s why I can tell you only abilities I had seen in the past. — For holy, light, and fire, these powers have its own abilities. Apart from that, these powers have the same ability to defend against the dark magic power in different level. The Holy Magic, its power can ‘Purify’ dark magic power at rate of 100%, it can completely destroy both of dark magic core and dark energy. The Light Magic Power, its power can burn or purify the dark magic power at rate of 90%, it can completely destroy dark magic core and dark energy but there is a possibility that it cannot destroy the powerful dark magic core completely. The Fire Magic Power, its power can burn dark magic power at rate of 80%, it can completely destroy dark magic core and dark energy but it cannot destroy the powerful dark magic core,” Queen Agnes said, “you should learn how to control fire magic power first. Some abilities of light magic power are advance magic power. It has high chance for you to mix the magic types unintentionally and it may cause the magic exploded. It’s better for you to use it when you reach the age of 8.”

“Do you want to try fire magic power next?” Queen Agnes asked.

“Yes,” said Ilario, he was worried about the magic exploded.

He tried to calm himself and focus. He imagined the image of small fire ball, and then activated it but it turned out to be a big fire ball instead. He was surprised by its size. It was quite different from his imagination.

“You should practice how to control fire magic power seriously. Start from make a small fire ball first, then try to make the other shapes in small size. If you can make the other shapes with a lot of details in small size, that mean you succeeded to control your magic power. Take your time to practice. You don’t need to be hurried,” said Queen Agnes encouragingly.

“Yes,” Ilario said.

“Try the other elements. I would like know how much you can control,” Queen Agnes said.

Ilario activated wind and earth magic power respectively. He could control both types freely in many shapes as he imagined.

“So, you have problem only fire magic power. It’s enough for day,” Queen Agnes said, “one more thing, don’t use healing magic power until you finished the daily training. It can help you strengthen your physical body faster,”

“Yes,” Ilario said.

After lunch, Ilario went to the training ground. He felt so tiring after recalled the training from yesterday. Moreover, He cannot use healing magic power until he finished the daily training.

Oliver was waiting for him at the training ground. He prepared everything like yesterday.

“Warm up first. Do everything like yesterday but a double,” Oliver said and put the bracelets on his wrists and ankles. It was heavier than yesterday.

Ilario said nothing but do as Oliver say obediently. He has done the training sets faster than yesterday. He began to tire but not much. He was amazed by how much strength he got improved.

“You need to do it double for the next day. I will be increasing the weight of stone bracelets as time goes by,” Oliver said, “apart from warm up, we will prepare special training for you every day. And today, climb up and down the tree for 10 sets. I will teach you how to do it. It’s easy.”

Ilario was surprised by the word ‘easy’ from him. He has never thought that he must climb up and down the tree in his life. He wondered how he can do if he fell. He was anxious for some reason. He observed Oliver intently. As he could see, he needs to climb the trunk, then catch the branches to climb up higher.

Fortunately, Oliver prepared a small tree 5-6 meters high, even so, it was still high for a child at age of 5.

Ilario started to climb up the tree slowly. The trunk was rough, it scratched his hands and body. When he climbed up halfway to the top, he looked down on the ground. He felt nervous and worried that he might fall. He continued to climb up until he nearly reached to the top. Unexpectedly, he missed his step but he could catch a branch nearby on time.

‘Whoa…that was close!’ he shouted inside his mind loudly. His heart was beating hard as if it was going to explode.

He was afraid that he might fall for real. He tried to concentrate and slowly climbed down. He thought that he will use wind magic power just in case. He reached to the ground safely.

Oliver observed him and said nothing.

Ilario climbed up and down again and again until finished 10 sets. It was hard for the first and second time. He did it faster since the third time.

“It’s easy, right? It will be harder tomorrow. Prepare yourself,” said Oliver, he smiled at him and left.

Ilario was aching all over, his hands and body got scratched. He activated “Instant Heal”. All the aches were gone, and all the damaged skins healed.

The next day, Ilario went to The Queen’s Treehouses as usual. Mr. Mercury was in chart of teaching him today.

“I heard that you are great in magic control. So, I will shorten the class period and teach you the knowledge that can help you for real in the future,” Mr. Mercury said and started the lesson.

“The other day, I told you about magic core and magic energy. I will explain more about magic energy. As you know, there are many types of magic energies. The sources of magic energies come direct from the spirits and indirectly come from the magic stones. — Zues, King of gods and goddesses, created this world. There are plenty of nature since the beginning. Zues created spirits and let them protect and generate the nature. Their existences are important to this world. They always stay with the nature and carry on their duties to make the nature plenty and release their energies to balance it. The spirits also have types like magic energies, more precisely, magic energies occur from the spirits. Even so, we did not call spirit energy but magic energy because there are few Magus who can see them. They did not show up themselves to everyone. That’s why their existences are not common knowledge. Only Magus who are loved by spirits can see them and there is no theory to explain about what kind of person that spirits love.”

“Have you ever seen them?” Ilario asked curiously.

“Yes, I have. They showed up themselves sometime but I’ve never talked to them. Only Queen Agnes often talks to the world tree spirit, and the king and queen of spirits.” Mr. Mercury said.

“There are 6 types of spirits like normal magic powers, 4 elements and 2 natural powers. There are many spirits in each type and separate by level. World Tree Spirit rule all the spirits, the king and queen of spirits rule the spirits in their types. The queen of earth spirits ‘Terra’, The queen of water spirits ‘Aqua’, The king of wind spirits ‘Ventus’, The king of fire spirits ‘Ignis’, The queen of light spirits ‘Lux’, and The king of dark spirits ‘Arcanum’. The queen of light spirits and The king of dark spirits hardly shows up themselves, even Queen Agnes had been seeing them every once in a while.”

“Excuse me. Does the king of dark spirits have something to do with the monsters?” Ilario asked curiously.

“Arcanum had nothing to do with the monsters in the past but some of dark spirits did something, as far as I know,” Mr. Mercury said.

“The spirits always stay at area where there are a lot of natural sources, especially their types and compatible types. For example, water spirits always stay near the river or the area that have much water. There are many types of spirits in the plenty of natural area. When they gathered in the same area, their energies leaked out by itself or they released it intentionally. Those energies became the sources of magic energies.”

“Apart from the spirits, the magic stones are one of the sources of magic energies as well. The magic stones occur naturally in the earth’s crust, the area near its types, and long period of time. It was the same concept with Minerals, but it occurs from both of nature and sprit energies which were formed in the ground and gathered the spirit energies inside for a long time. That’s why magic stones can generate magic energies as well. In other words, magic stones are mediums of spirits energies. — Everyone can use magic stones but the effect is different. The ordinarius can use the magic stones by leaking its power, the result is like using the natural energies pass through it. That’s why humans were developing magical products like home appliances. They can use it for daily routine but not fighting. If they used the magic stone until it was out of energy, they have to replace the new one. — It’s different from Magus. They can use it for fighting, protecting or anything else. It can help to boost up magic power 20-50%. It’s possible to boost up magic power more than 50%, but those magic stones must have very high energies, which mean it gathered spirit energies for a very long time, of course, it’s rare and hard to find.”

Magus can input their magic power to normal stone and balance the power inside. It’s not easy to do it because there are many factors to make the stone break before they could finish it. It’s easy to wear and they can use it in emergency case. There is a limit to the number of times they can use, so most of people use it in emergency case. The gemstone will have broken after the magic power was released out. The ordinarius can use it as well. It’s popular among them. For that reason, the jewelries artificium in the market were selling a very high price.”

“How the ordinarius use artificium?” Ilario asked.

“It required the condition to make the gemstone release the power. They need to craft gold or silver in special way to release magic power as its purpose. That’s way the prices are so high. The easiest way is to break the gemstone but it has high risk to hurt the one who use it. So, it’s not popular among the ordinarius. — The artificium is completely different from magic stone. The artificium is made by Magus, they input magic power in one time and it required the condition of breaking to release the power. The magic stone occur naturally, its power leak by itself, and it will not explode when it broke,” Mr. Mercury said and asked. “Do you have any question?”

“No, I don’t” Ilario said.

“We will end the magic theory lesson today. If you have something you want to know, you can come here anytime. From tomorrow onward, Mr. Marius will teach you the magic control at the training ground. He’s great at fighting with magic power.” Mr. Mercury said.

“Thank you for teaching me many things,” Ilario said and left.
