The next day, Ilario went to The Queen’s treehouse and requested to meet Queen Agnes. He was thinking about the questions that he needs to ask her while waiting for her.

“You came at the right time. I have something to talk to you. Lyra reported me everything about the incident yesterday. And I think you might have many questions,” said Queen Agnes kindly.

“Yes, I have. I realized myself that I’m lacking skills and abilities to fight after I fought with the real monsters yesterday. I think I cannot kill the high level of monsters with my skills and abilities now. I would like to ask you for the way to increase magic power faster. Is it possible for me to do that? The monsters are stronger than usual. They did something to develop themselves. So, I think I should improve myself as well,” Ilario said.

“There is a way but it’s quite risk to your life. Do you still want to know?” Queen Agnes asked.

“Yes, I do. I think it’s better to do nothing and wait for them to kill me someday. In either case, I still have to die. So, I would prefer to risk my life rather than do nothing. I think I still have a chance to be stronger and survive,” said Ilario intently.

“You are a very determined person. To tell you the truth, Athena Goddess already predicted and created the Parallel World, called ‘The Practice World’ for you. It’s the imitation world which was created with the purpose of real training. All the wild animals and monsters in that world imitated from the history of this world. In addition, they have the same abilities like the real one, that mean they can attack and kill you for real. So, you can practice and get the real experience in the practice world. There is no human in that world. You have to survive by yourself. — I will open the gate which connected to a house in the center area. There is strong barrier protecting that house from all kinds of wild animals and monsters. There are many necessary things inside the house. So, you can stay safely and comfortably. — The important key of practice is to cheat the time. One year in the practice world is equal to 1 day in this world. You need to practice and stay there 5 years minimum. The gate will open again after you practiced for 5 years and killed monster lord. If you could not kill monster lord, you still have more time for 5 years. You can practice until the total time reached to a maximum of 10 years. The gate will open automatically, even though you could not kill monster lord. You can come back to this world with one of these 2 conditions. Ten years are the time limit for you to stay in another time space. In the practice world, your body will grow up as time goes by. It will turn back to the present you when you came back here. That’s why you can practice at the maximum of 10 years. After you came back, your magic power highly increased as same as the level you possessed in the practice world but your present body is weaker. It’s likely to damage your life, and it can cause magic exploded. — The more you practiced, the more you can be stronger. You should usefully spend time to practice as if it’s a chance of your life time,” Queen Agnes said.

“Excuse me. Which monster lord will show up after 5 years passed?” Ilario asked.

“As you may know, there were 4 monster lords in the past. The monster lord that you have to kill in the practice world is the weakest one among them. I will not tell you which one. You have to guess from my words,” said Queen Agnes, she smiled at him.

“I understand. Why is there only one monster lord in the practice world?” Ilario asked curiously.

“Athena Goddess could not imitate the dark magic power because it’s required the sacrifice of humans lives in cruel way. So, she could imitate one at most with the other way. — If you successfully killed the monster lord, that mean you achieved your goal of increasing magic power,” Queen Agnes said.

“I have duty to open the gate for you because you need to go through time space to the practice world. Prepare yourself, pack your clothes and necessary things, then come back here again.”

“Yes,” Ilario said and left.

He went back to the treehouse.

“You came back early today,” Ms. Carina said.

“I came back to pack my stuff. I have to go to practice outside for 5-10 days,” Ilario said.

“Oh…really? What can I do for you? You might need many things,” Ms. Carina asked.

“Yes,” Ilario said asked “Do you have camping equipment? I need to use it for camping. And I wanted some of adult clothes.”

“All right. I will prepare for you,” Ms. Carina said and left.

Ilario went upstairs to his room and pack his clothes.

Ms. Carina came back with everything he requested.

Ilario went to meet Oliver and requested for swords, dagger knives, bow, arrows, and adult armor. He told him that he has a special training from Queen Agnes for 5-10 days.

After he got all necessary things, he went to The Queen’s Treehouse again. Queen Agnes was waiting for him, she held something in her hand.

“Give me your hand. I made this bracelet for you. It has the same ability as magic bag. Activate some of your magic power when you use it. This bracelet is special, it’s unlimited space, and the time is frozen inside. The things you keep inside, it will be the same condition when you take it out. I made it for you, only you can wear and use it. Its size will automatically fit to your wrist after you wore it,” Queen Agnes said and put a gold bracelet in shape of olive crown on his left wrist.

It fitted on his wrist automatically, it was light and comfortable when wearing.

“Thank you. I will use it well,” Ilario said.

“Take care of yourself,” Queen Agnes said and opened the gate.

Ilario saw the bright light was shining through the gate after it was open. He covered his eyes and walked through the gate.

After he crossed the gate, he found himself in a small cozy house. It has only ground level with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, fireplace, Kitchen, and dining area. There were necessary things like Queen Agnes said.

The gate disappeared after he crossed into this house.

He went to bedroom and unpacked his stuff. Afterward, he went out of the house to survey the surrounding area.

The house was surrounded by wooden fence. He assumed that it was the scope of barrier which protecting the house. He saw a large apple tree which has plenty of apples growing on it and a small farm which used for growing vegetables in the garden next to the house within the fence. He cut and collected some of apples. He took a bite out of the apple to taste it, it was sweet as same as the apple that he ate in the elves’ village.

After finished an apple, he used “Mind Vision” to check all energies within 5 miles radius of the house. He needed to remember and create the map for his adventure here. He took out a paper and pen, then draw a map as far as he could describe from mind vision.

The nature has its energies by itself. He could describe which area have plenty of trees, rivers, and mountains. He assumed that it might be spirits energy which gathering in the plenty areas.

He found many wild animals 3 miles far away from here, and the monsters are staying near mountains and the area that have plenty of trees.

He planned to kill the monsters within 5 miles radius until he was familiar to this area first. He will survey the other areas after that. He must be careful and survive in this world.

After finished the first map, he went out of the house. His direction was the area that has not much monsters. He wanted to check what kind of monsters are staying around here first.

Fortunately, he read the book name “How to kill monsters” and remember all the monster types, their powers including their weakness in the past 4 years. The important process is to destroy dark magic stone after killed them.

He trained his physical body by hunting wild animals without using magic power along the way to the area where there were some of monsters. Thanks to the bracelet that Queen Agnes has given him. He hunted many wild boars and kept their bodies inside his bracelet for food supplies.

He reached to the area that has some of monsters. He climbed up the tree and looked for the monsters. He saw a group of X-Ursus, the monstrous bears, their fur were dark, their fangs and claws were long and sharp, their bodies were very large, their skins were thick, every parts of their bodies were stronger than wild bears.

He activated “Solis Meteor” to burn them all in one blow, their bodies were burned without ashes. The low level of monsters was like the extra species of wild monsters. He could kill them easily. He destroyed all the dark magic stones that dropped from their bodies.

He went to the other area where he detected more dark energies. It turned out that most of them were low level of monsters. He killed them all.

The sun was setting. He activated “Wind Dragon Wings” and flew back to the house.

After arrived at the house, he prepared the ingredients for cooking. He took out a wild boar. He removed its skins and sliced the flat pieces of meat, he had seen the method of skin removing in the elves’ village and did the same.

He cooked the meat with the other ingredients, broccoli, asparagus, and tomato. It was an easy dish that he could make. The fresh meat made a good taste after cooked by itself. He needed protein from meat to make his body grow up fast. He wanted to be stronger and able to handle magic power well.

2 years passed by referring to the time in the practice world.

Ilario spent time to train his physical body and kill low and medium level of monsters in the past 2 years. He sometime killed low level of monsters without using magic power.

He was familiar all the area in this world. He finished the map by zoning the areas as same as the game development. The monsters are categorized by their level, the same level of monsters was gathering at the same zone.

It was easy to remember. There were 3 zones in total. The first zone called ‘safe zone’, the nearest area within 5 miles radius of the house, there were plenty of nature, rivers, and wild animals. The second zone called ‘medium zone’, the area next to the safe zone, there were dense forest 50% of area, hills, caves, rivers, and the medium level of monsters. The final zone called ‘advance zone’, the further area next to the medium zone, there were dense forest 60% of area, a lot of cliffs, caves, and a large river, and the high level of monsters.

He planned to go to the advance zone today. He prepared foods, camping equipment, and the necessary things for camping outside. He could not fight and come back to the house in the same day.

He went to the medium zone, he killed wild animals and monsters along the way. He walked through the woods to find a place for champing. He looked for the location that has less monsters.

He detected a group of monsters nearby. He went direct to that way and saw 3 Cerberus, the gigantic three-head hounds.

He climbed up the tree and attacked them in combo set, he activated “Wind Slashing” to cut their heads and continued with “Solis Shooting” to burn them all. He killed them before they could attack him back. The best strategy was to kill the monsters before they moved or went wild, otherwise it will take longer time to fight with them.

He continued to find more monsters and found a group of Lycans. There were 20 of them at least. He activated “Solis Meteor” to burn them at once. He wanted to reduce their numbers. There were some of them surviving and running toward him.

He activated “Wind Dragon Wings” to fly up in the air and activated “Solis Shooting” to kill them one by one.

These Lycans were weaker than Lycans that he and the young elves had fought last time.

The new species of monsters might be stronger and crueler than the imitated monsters here.

After killed many monsters, he finally found a place for resting. There was not much growth trees around here and it was near the river. He could see the surrounding area clearly. If the monsters attacked, he will know immediately.

He used magic power to cut some trees nearby to make more empty space. He cut the wood to prepare for lighting fire.

The sun went down, the sky was dark and glimmered with stars. The weather changed very quickly, it was good and cool.

He activated “Light Barrier” the ability to protect the one who use it or the area within a mile radius from dark magic power, and detect all the energies that passed through it. The radius can extend as the level of magic power.

The monsters could not come inside unless they were stronger than him. In that case, he will know immediately after they passed though the barrier.

He put up a tent and prepared the meal. He was grilling meat and boiling pumpkin soup, he prepared some ingredients from home. He grew up a lot after he had been eating meat every day.

After dinner, he activated earth, water, and fire magic power to make a small hot spring, like onsen. It was not exactly same but he could lie in a hot bath in a good weather.

He looked up at the sky studded with twinkling stars while he was lying in a hot bath. He relaxed with the atmosphere around him for a while.

After he got a long hot bath, he detected area again to make sure that there was no dark energy near him within 2 miles radius.

He went to sleep, he brought the blanket and pillow with him. He loves the comfortable things. He thought of bringing the whole bed with him but it could not place inside the tent and therefore he had to give up on that idea.

He slept for a while. He was woken up by the detection of Light Barrier. There was something came inside the barrier. It was neither monsters nor wild animals.

It came toward him but he did not feel the killing intent. He rather felt familiar energy but he could not explain it clearly. He was on guard and ready for fighting just in case.

He saw a large white wolf walking toward him. It was taller than him, its eyes were light blue. It has a sapphire crystal on its forehead, in the center part. It stopped in front of him and looked at him.
