《Fundy-Centric Oneshots》"His Foxes"

"What the fuck is wrong with me wanting to be president one day?!"
Fundy was absolutely fuming, not giving a damn about everyone else in the room as he argued with his father.
"Don't you dare take that tone with me, young man!"
Wilbur stood across from the fox, getting angrier at his son by the second.
Every member of L'manburg looked unsure of what to do. They were just supposed to have a meeting, not dive into Wilbur and Fundy's bad relationship.
Jack wished he never brought up that Fundy ditched his paperwork.
"Oh, so Tommy can be president but I can't!?"
Tommy awkwardly stood to the side of the room, shrinking at the sound of his name. The other members of L'manburg looked at the blonde sympathetically before focusing back at the current situation.
"Tommy is my right-hand man, you're just my son!"
Although taken-aback, Fundy only grew with rage.
"Oh, please! You were gonna kick him out of L'manburg when it first started!"
The father winced at the memory, clearly kicking himself in the foot for his past decisions. However, Wilbur carried on arguing. Like father, like son.
"And I would kick you out if I could!"
The furry's eyes welled up with tears as his father immediately regretted what he had just said. Everyone else in the room didn't make a noise, even they knew Wilbur had gone too far.
"Wait, son, I didn't mean-"
"Don't call me son,"
The fox furiously blinked back tears as he glared at his father.
"Fuck you,"
Fundy turned around and started to run to the exit of L'manburg, ignoring the calls of his father; Wilbur spouted shit out of his mouth anyways.
As the calls became distant, the fox finally allowed his tears to escape from his eyes, sobs clawing their way out of his throat.

He knew exactly where he was going as his legs mindlessly travelled throughout the SMP and into a forest.
Eventually, he reached a small clearing and allowed himself to stop running, collapsing to his knees.
It was so unfair how Wilbur treated him like a child, he was almost 15, for God's sake! His father treated Tommy like an adult and he was 13 years old. It was complete and utter bullshit.
A cry of anger left the furry's mouth as he punched the grass below him, slightly bruising his knuckles in the process.
Before he could hurt himself even more, Fundy heard a slight chittering sound coming toward him.
A smile crept it's way onto his face at the familiar sound. Snapping his head up, Fundy looked at the four foxes in front of him, eager to play.
And Fundy was happy to oblige.
After a lot of pouncing in the mud, and playful biting with each other, the fox finally collapsed to the ground, a small laugh escaping his lips.
The other foxes gave the hybrid one last nudge before they left for their home.
With a small sigh, Fundy decided to head back home, however, the fact that he was covered in mud, yet again, would be difficult to explain to his father.
The thought of his father made his lips curl, all the negative emotions coming back from their prior argument.
He knew he had to face the man eventually, although that didn't stop him from being upset about it.
Too caught up in his own thoughts, Fundy didn't realise he had stopped at the entrance to L'manburg.
Taking a deep breath, the furry made his way inside the familiar walls.
"Fundy! Where the hell have you been and why why are you so filthy?!"
Wilbur made his way up to his son, taking in the mud that was all over the boy.
"Come on, you're going in a shower now,"
The hybrid began to follow his father to their home.
"I'm sorry about our argument but you didn't have to get all mucky for some sort of teenage rebellion,"
Wilbur laughed at his son's unimpressed stare.
Fundy may not always have people to count on but his foxes were always there.

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.

Ghostified City
‘Ghostified City’ is a post-dystopian sci-fi tale, set in a fading world that might be a future version of ours, running out on autopilot into oblivion. Adaman Yimmand is a simple robofactory operator in The City who's working with robots and machines every day. He doesn’t even realise that he might not have met another actual human being in years. Everything begins when he breaks his routine for once and enters a bar where he meets Evelith. This pesky other person does not let him go after he has had his -rather terrible- beer, because according to her actual humans are much rarer than he’s aware of. And from then on ‘the genie is out of the bottle and won’t get back in’, to use her words: Adaman meets more people, and gradually he has no choice but to accept that the reality of The City is not what he always thought it was, and to face the darkness of a fading humanity on the brink of self-inflicted extinction. Is there any hope left for him, and for his species? I have selected 'sexual content' and 'traumatising content' to be on the safe side, because there is a stripclub-like venue in the background of the story, and an almost-extinct humanity that has institutionalised suicide which might be disturbing to some. Apart from that it's not really a heavy 'adult' story.('Ghostified City' is my first long story in English as opposed to my native language Dutch, and an earlier version was published on my fiction blog 'Oranderra' until I stopped updating. This is a slightly altered version of the first series.)

Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.
