the five of them met each other back at the club room. they all sat on the chairs while waiting for their club president.

a few minutes later, the club room's door was brutally opened.

"it's an emergency!"

"president!"

"you can scold me later." y/n said and placed the envelope on the table, opening it and taking out the contents.

"a house from a couple of streets away is haunted with the piano as its vessel." y/n said and showed the photography of the piano. "the client, mr. hiroto, said that the house plays the piano every night from 8 pm onwards."

"the house was owned by a couple, mr. and mrs. nuguya." y/n said and showed the photographs. "but it is now left and abandoned by mr. nuguya after he found a new family a few years later after his ex-wife passed away from an accident. mr. hiroto said that the piano has been playing for months now, but he never reported it because it was just a quick play and it is not that loud but..."

"days passed, the playing got louder, and mr. hiroto is afraid that his family might get caught up with the spirit lingering around the house."

"we could do the rituals tonight, but i'm afraid you all still don't know how to use your charms." y/n added and sighed. "i promised mr. hiroto that we can do it the day after tomorrow and i will take responsibility for what may happen to them before the ritual."

"do you all have spare time after school?"

the five nodded.

"go home and get spare changes." y/n said with a wide grin. "we're swimming tonight."

SO CUTE!!! they all thought in excruciating pain.

"don't you think you have one more explaining to do?" vox asked with a smile when y/n started fixing the envelope.

"o-oh right..." y/n mumbled.

"i went out and took the cat to the vet." y/n said before bowing a perfect 90 degrees. "i'm so sorry for not telling!!"

the five of them sighed.

"the next time you go out, inform us. at least don't forget your phone." ike said.

"no kidding, y/n. we were so worried." shu added.

"it won't happen again i swear." y/n said and sighed as well.

"where did you go again?" mysta asked.

"i took the cat behind the school to the vet." y/n answered.

"with shoto?"

"yup." y/n chirped. she was immediately frozen in place when she realized she just ratted out the school council president on her friends.

vox and ike raised an eyebrow. "what do you mean?" vox asked.

"you could've just brought her to the vet after school with us..." luca said with a sad face.

"i didn't think of that, luca... i'm sorry." y/n said while ruffling the tall man's hair.

"i met shoto at the vending machine. he was the one who told me where y/n is." mysta said while showing y/n his head. y/n immediately understood and gave him a head pat as well.

"are you related to him?" vox asked.

"jealous?" ike segway'ed. vox akuma just gave ike a 'huh?' of disbelief.

"yeah. we often met since the cheerleading club really wanted the occult club room and they've been pestering him about it since second grade." y/n answered.

"huh. that's not the answer i was expecting." mysta said. "at least it wasn't worst." he mumbled to himself.

a few minutes of discussion later, the five of them all went home. they all promised to meet at the school's swimming pool at sunset.

they all brought a bag of necessities, and of course, they wouldn't forget their charms.

"hey guys!" luca greeted with mysta after the three came. they're all inside the pool place now, just waiting for y/n.

"wow, you guys are ready." shu said. "we'll just get changed in the lockers," he added.

after a little while, the boys were complete, only waiting for y/n by the benches. no one dared open the light too.

luca was top naked. ike and mysta were wearing a black rashguard while vox and shu are top naked, but the former is wearing a white flannel shirt and the latter is wearing a short-sleeved flannel shirt. both of them are unbuttoned.

"what's taking her so long..?"

"be patient." ike said to luca who slumped a bit with his tail wagging.

"i'm here!" y/n exclaimed, coming out of the locker room.

her tote bag was resting on her shoulder and she was wearing a one-piece swimsuit with cute frills.

the five's jaws almost fell as they look at her respectfully. shu made sure to keep myata's jaw from the ground too.

she looks like she's just going to the beach. they cried with flustered faces. good thing the light was turned off in the pool place.

"sorry i took so long." y/n said and placed her tote bag down on the lounge chair.

she took her necklace out and wore it, so the others did as well. the moment everyone's charms were out, they started glowing.

"who would like to go first?" y/n asked and dipped her hand into the pool.

their eyes widened when the whole pool glowed white for just a second after she touched it.

"i can go first!" luca happily volunteered.

"okay then." y/n said while going down the pool. she then smiled at luca and offered her hand.

"is it cold?" luca asked with y/n shaking her head in reply.

"luca." ike called. "you must be forgetting something."

"huh?" luca mumbled. "oh right!! y/n, i can't swim."

y/n blinked before she giggled. "it's fine. i'll hold you."

luca slowly went down the pool from the edges, and the moment he was already in, he felt something weird but light and cool at the same time. although it was water, it felt like he was swimming in cotton candy.

"it feels so good! i feel like floating. but why am i not drowning? i swear i can't swim." luca said before taking y/n's hand.

y/n just giggled and slowly swam to the middle while holding luca.

"i want you to relax, okay?" y/n said. "we're gonna go down together, and i don't want you to panic."

"i can't breath underwater though?"

"you won't run out of breath. i promise."

"at three." y/n gently said while rubbing luca's hands with her thumb. "one, two..."

three! luca and y/n went down underwater. their charms started glowing brighter as they float in front of them.

y/n closed her eyes and started chanting a few unknown words. luca was in awe because of so many reasons. one, y/n can talk while underwater. two, he really wasn't running out of breath. three, he's getting excited. and lastly, y/n looks so beautiful underwater.

luca's eyes widened when he saw a few rays of yellow light from his charm hugging him. when y/n opened her eyes, she saw a few marks glowing on luca's body, but they later disappeared.

the marks that glowed looked like they were tattoos. but there was nothing.

luca's eyes glowed white, and y/n saw how in pain he was. she started panicking a little but immediately cut herself out of it when she felt luca's hold tightening.

don't cry... y/n thought when she saw a tear escaping luca's eye as it glows.

the four guys stared at the glowing water in nervous and fear, but the moment they joined the occult club, they have trusted y/n, just like how she trusted them with the charms she gave. they can't back out now.

a few minutes later, y/n and luca went up.

"wooh!" luca exclaimed with his arms in the air, but before he could drown, y/n held his arm.

the two of them were giggling as y/n swam back to the edge. the four boys were relieved.

"it was fun!" luca said as shu and mysta pulled him up.

"who's next?" y/n asked before taking a last glance at luca to see if he's alright now.

"can i go?" shu asked. "i'll go next after shu," ike added.

"okay then." y/n said and offered her hand.

shu took it before jumping on the water.

just like to luca, y/n told shu to just relax and remain calm. she told him that he wouldn't run out of breath once the two of them goes down.

the both of them did the same thing. with only shu's eyes opened, their charms started glowing brightly as shu could feel something different because of the charms.

shu chose to ignore it. he focused on y/n's touch and her beautiful face. she looks innocent and pure, just like on a daily basis.

y/n felt shu's panic when he saw the charm's rays wrapping around his body. she held onto him tight while rubbing her thumbs on the back of his palm, telling him to calm down.

she knew it was successful when she felt the energies calming. she continue her chant until shu's eyes glowed white in the process. it was then done.

"wow." shu chuckled as mysta and ike pulled him up. "i feel like a newborn."

"thank you, y/n." shu said but everyone's eyes widened when they saw blood dripping out of y/n's nose.

"your nose is bleeding!"

"oh! sorry! it was my first time so i wasn't used to it." y/n said and chuckled. "i remember reimu-senpai also had a nosebleed when she did it to me."

"is it my turn now?" ike asked and gave y/n a tissue to wipe her nose.

"yup. come on." y/n said and offered her hand.

ike took it and slowly went into the pool. y/n's smile immediately calmed his nerves as she swam to the middle.

"don't be nervous, you'll be alright." y/n said. "you won't run out of breath. i promise. just like the first two, everything will go smoothly." y/n said with extra gentleness when she noticed ike shaking.

ike gulped and nodded before the two of them went down underwater.

ike's eyes were closed, but y/n need them open. she softly cupped his cheek with one hand while caressing it with her thumb.

that had ike successfully open his eyes. y/n nodded before she closed her own eyes.

ike saw wonders underwater. like how their charms glowed together, and how y/n looked so cute and pretty underwater with her eyes closed and concentrating very well.

ike calmed down a few seconds later. he let all the blue rays wrap his whole body and let the energy in his system. just like shu and luca, ike's eyes glowed white too.

"that was... wow." ike mumbled after they went back up.

y/n just smiled at him as they swam back to the edge. mysta was about to help ike up when vox pushed him to the pool and helped ike all on his own instead.

"AHH! I'M DROWNING!! FUCK YOU VOX!"

vox just laughed darkly while y/n swam to mysta to hold him.

"vox, please don't do that again." y/n said, gently but sternly— is that even possible?

"sorry." vox apologized. mysta just rolled his eyes before he and y/n swam to the middle.

she then told mysta what he should know. he won't run out of breath, and all y/n needs him to do is to just relax and let everything go with the flow. mysta immediately understood before they went down the water.

just like ike, his eyes were tightly closed. not in fear, but he just didn't want his eyes to hurt. y/n cupped his cheek to let him know that she needs his pretty eyes opened.

he slowly opened his eyes before it landed on y/n chanting something underwater. mysta was so amazed that he almost breathed.

their charms glowed brighter before the orange rays wrapped mysta's body. he couldn't forget y/n's gorgeous look before he couldn't see anything else anymore.

"i'm sorry, mate. i really am." vox said and offered his hand.

"whatever, vox. thank god you're hot." mysta said and took the hand to pull him up from the edge.

"i guess it's my turn now." vox said and jumped into the pool. y/n giggled before vox caught her hand, and they both swam to the middle.

"alright. just stay calm and don't worry because you won't out of breath."

"i'm assuming this is the fifth time you're saying that."

y/n just shook her head before she and vox went down in unison.

just like the first four, vox had his eyes opened while staring at y/n chanting a few words with their hands tightly holding each other. their charms started glowing together.

y/n's eyes opened when she felt... different. she met vox's eyes who just stared at her questioningly.

vox saw how she hesitated to continue. so vox held her hands tighter and nodded at her. y/n nodded back before closing her eyes again.

she continued chanting before the black rays from vox's red charm surrounded his body. that made the four at the edge panic. they knew it wasn't supposed to be black but red. what does that mean?

y/n stared at vox as he let himself be succumbed. he was the only one not panicking, but judging how tight he's holding, it must be painful or uncomfortable.

y/n continued rubbing her thumbs at the back of vox's palm until the white glow on vox's eyes disappeared. the both of them then went back up.

they swam back to the edge. vox then held y/n's waist to bring her back up first. ike and mysta helped pull her up before shu and luca tugged vox up.

"it's done." y/n chirped, making the boys cheer.

"your nose is bleeding again." ike said and gave y/n a few more tissues.

y/n wiped her nose before inserting a rolled tissue paper inside it.

"do you know what our charms do now?" shu asked.

y/n nodded. "lets dry ourselves and change first."

"can we swim for a few more minutes please?" mysta begged with puppy dog eyes.

"mysta," ike called.

"i suppose a few more minutes in the pool won't hurt." y/n said. "it's fine, ike."

mysta cheered and dived into the pool before shu and vox followed. ike just shook his head before following by gently going down by the edge.

"can you swim with us? i can't swim." luca said.

"sure! come on!" y/n said and snatched luca's arm.

after a few minutes of playing in the pool, the five have decided to jump out and take a bath. after drying and changing their clothes, they met up still at the pool place.

"to practice your charms, we can do it tomorrow. i will update hiroto-san that we'll proceed to the first exorcism... tomorrow." y/n said.

"are you sure..?" shu asked.

"yes. judging the charms i gave you all and the way you handled it earlier, you guys wouldn't do so bad." y/n said with a grin. "it was like you guys had powers before already! or something."

the five fell silent.

"first off with luca's charm." y/n started. "i told you guys that if a person knows the spirit, they won't see the spirit, eight? with luca's charm, he could use it to let them see the spirit while he's holding the person."

"w-wow... so cool..." luca mumbled with his eyes twinkling.

"next one is shu's." y/n said. "shu's charm gives him the ability to call other spirits for help, no matter how far they are, as long as they could help with the case."

"eeeeeyy." shu cheered.

"ike's charm gives him the ability to hold spirits." y/n then said. "he could also use the charm to give us the ability to be freely possessed by any spirit. to open the door of our soul and body for one specific spirit."

"wow... that's..." ike mumbled, both amazed and nervous.

"mysta's charm allows him to trace a specific spirit's whereabouts." y/n said.

"ayoooo!" mysta excitedly cheered, making y/n giggle.

"and vox's charm." there again, vox saw the hesitation in y/n's eyes. "his charm allows him to... discipline the bad spirits."

"huh? discipline? like smack them with a belt or something?" mysta asked.

y/n nodded and glanced at vox, only to see his stares of suspicion.

"j-just remember to take care of the charms well, okay? and always bring them with you."

"yes, president!"

"you guys are dismissed!"

they all cheered and clapped.

"ah president. the sky is dark, and going home alone is dangerous." one of them said. "can i walk you home?"

"really? w-well, if it won't be a bother..."
