while yugo was keeping the quilldrens busy, uki and fulgur are searching for more cctv copies, and are even searching through what happened a few days ago that may be connected to nemu's death.

alban on the other hand remained in his classroom, talking and listening with yugo while devising the plan he and the other talked about earlier.

✞︎ wednesday came. it was like everyone's normal day, y/n going to school with her friends waiting for her by the gate, shoto at the gate as well, checking everyone's school attire, and the transfers having their own worlds instead of bothering y/n.

actually, it wasn't like any normal day.

"someone stole my wallet!" akari cried as the girls in class surrounds her in pity.

when lunch came, y/n was picked up by vox and mysta. that made all 3-b students agitated, but they're a bit thankful that ike isn't there with them.

"i'm in the occult club you f**ker." mysta said and scoffed.

after the three of them have arrived, vox and mysta left y/n by the table with the others so they could get their own food. luca and shu immediately gave their pudding to her.

they all ate peacefully while teasing each other. mysta and vox would sometimes banter and ike would have to stop them, but it was a fun lunch just like any other normal day of theirs.

"that akari bitch was lying! someone saw her wallet in her locker at the quilldren club!"

"what?! you mean she's also like that student from the lower years~? that's actually funny!"

the six of the glanced to where they heard those girls. and because of those girls, more whispers about akari spread throughout the cafeteria.

y/n secretly roamed her eyes around. and when she accidentally met alban's eyes, the phantom thief gave her a cute thumbs up.

after lunch, the five decided to bring y/n back to her room.

which was a good idea, because when they arrived, the room was in chaos. they get to witness it.

"what the hell, akari?! why are the missing class funds in your bag?! are you the one who stole it before?!"

"those funds again?" shu mumbled while drinking his banana milk.

"what the fuck? we even blamed leto for it and almost got killed by eveland! but it was just akari all along?!"

"the evilness behind that cutesy act... haha!"

"no." vox immediately said after catching ike's wrist, successfully stopping his friend from throwing his can of coke.

"wow. i don't know what's happening, but i can't believe i find this funny myself." mysta said while chuckling.

vox glanced at y/n. he was expecting her to scold mysta, shu, and luca, but she did nothing but just stare at the scene in her class.

he doesn't know if he'll love or get scared of the emotions he's seeing in her eyes.

"oops. hold onto your bags before akari takes everything!"

"wow. this class is much worst than vox's." ike said, chuckling.

vox, who also found the class ridiculous, chuckled.

the whole day passed by like a landslide. y/n went to the club room with her members while alban and the others kept themselves busy with akari's case.

akari was the talk of the whole school— from the first years to the third years. it was a wonder how the teachers haven't heard about it yet.

this school is really scary when it comes to other people's issues.

akari, the little angel that everyone used to love, is now labeled as a thief.

in every corner of the school, akari was the topic. from how desperate she is for money, and how she used her cutesy act to get everyone to like and dote on her like a little child. heck, even the boys were saying that akari used her beauty to get good grades from the teachers too.

such an issue rose just because she lost her wallet but they found the lost class funds wallet in her bag.

y/n just shook her head and went back to teaching mysta about the magic circle.

"do you guys know that you have fan clubs?" y/n asked out of the blue.

"fan clubs? those exist too?!" shu and mysta asked in unison.

"yeah? but they're not under the student council. it's an unofficial school club made for fun." y/n said. "i heard you guys have your own ones."

"vox has kindreds."

"and ike has quilldrens."

"the transfers also have their own." y/n finished.

"w-wow... this school is so fucking weird." vox mumbled. "and here i thought it was super normal before..." he added and continued writing.

"i kinda like the sound of that. mystakes. lol." mysta also said while drawing.

"yaminions sounds so cute and funny. they're so creative." shu commented.

y/n glanced at ike to see his reaction. a smile automatically crept on her lips when she saw ike smiling about his own fan club.

his fanclub's president killed my cat though. y/n thought while sweating.

"that akari though..." luca suddenly brought the subject up. "this school is really weird."

"yeah. her rumors spread so fast, it's like someone's pulling strings." ike said while drawing.

y/n's eyes widened a little in realization, and shu and vox noticed that. but instead of pointing it out, they just stayed quiet.

"i hope tomorrow's a better day than today." luca said while balancing the pen on the tip of his nose. "today has been very peaceful and quiet that it's kinda scary. i hope it continues though," he added.

"yeah! it's like any normal day. hanging out and all." mysta added.

"but it isn't boring." vox pointed out while wriggling his eyebrows.

"yeah. we're like relaxing and having fun while being comfy." ike said and stretched his arms, making some sinful noises. "i hope this goes on forever."

"was that wish too much?" he asked and laughed with his friends.

"hey, but the more thrill the merrier, you know?" shu added.

y/n just smiled while watching them. she's really happy to have these men in her life.

the six of them went home after club time, except for y/n. she went to the back of the school where her favorite kouhais are waiting for her.

"leto-senpai! just in timeeee!" alban called while waving his hands in the air.

y/n caught someone running away from them after she arrived. if she wasn't mistaken, that was...

"akari?" y/n asked.

"she caught us here. so we had to give her a piece of our mind." fulgur said with a very assuring smile.

"yugo." sonny immediately called to stop yugo from saying anything further.

y/n blinked. "who said i'm worried? i just wanted to know." y/n said with a little pout.

"we didn't. that depends if she got scared though." uki said with a chuckle.

"senpai, we already found a place to bury nemu." sonny spoke up. although y/n's little flinch didn't escape his eyes. "i-i'll bring him for you."

the four just silently laughed at sonny.

the land they found wasn't that far from the school. nemu and her kittens are following them too.

"w-what if she gets angry?" sonny suddenly asked.

alban shrugged. "we wouldn't have found a land if you never told him."

y/n paused from walking when she saw the man standing not far from the land sonny pointed out earlier.

just like magic, shoto turned around to see her.

no matter how far they were from each other, y/n saw shoto's gentle smile, and how his eyes told her that everything was alright.

y/n just bit her lower lip and ate all her fears, pushing herself further just to get the courage to approach the person she was trying to avoid the most.

shoto didn't speak a word and just opened his arms.

hesitantly, y/n went for an embrace.

"it's alright." shoto whispered while hugging the lady tightly. "it's alright, i'm not angry or anything. i understand."

y/n stayed silent and just hid her face on shoto's chest.

"i'm sorry." she mumbled. "it was my fault why they went for her."

"no it's not... those people are just pettier than normal humans." shoto said and chuckled. "her death is no one's fault but akari. so we'll make her pay."

y/n looked up at the president. "you knew?"

shoto nodded. "sonny told me everything. they were all desperate to find land to bury nemu, so he had to tell me everything including who did it. this way, i can also help."

y/n glanced at sonny, but she immediately hid her face in shoto's chest after their eyes met.

"still scared of him, huh?" shoto mumbled and sighed.

y/n kept mumbling sorries all over again and again. for the first minute, shoto just let her. but it's been a couple of minutes and she's still apologizing.

"y/n. it really is alright." shoto said. "it already happened. all we can do now is just send her away, okay?"

y/n nodded while stopping her tears from falling. shoto chuckled and wiped the lady's eyes with his thumbs.

"come on, let's bury our cat."

"she had kittens too, shoto..."

"have you thought of names for them?"

y/n nodded. "she had three. if i were to name them, they'd be nari, noori, and noomi."

"cute names. not close to guildy though..." shoto mumbled.

he would be lying if he say he's not sad about nemu's passing. but he couldn't do anything about it anymore. he should've brought the cat home...

but the most important thing is not to make y/n feel too down today. shoto thought.

alban and fulgur buried nemu with shoto and uki's help. it was also the first time they bonded with the president.

y/n took out her emergency tissues and helped sonny in wiping his tears. he looks like a baby in need of changing diapers.

after eating lunch— yes, it's thursday, and lunch just ended— the four of them went back to their floor, but has decided to take y/n to her room first.

they were paused. y/n peeked over the crowd in the room, only to see akari surrounded by people.

and her desk was filled with wallets and other objects.

"i-i didn't steal it! i didn't put it in my bag!"

"oh hey look! it's my augustus keychain!" luca chirped and took the keychain on the table. "wait. why do you have this?"

"who has who?" shu asked and peeked over luca's shoulders. "hey... that banana man looks familiar..."

"i think it's yours, man." luca said after picking up the keychain. "did you steal this from us..?"

"n-no..." akari was almost out of voice in fear of what was happening to her right now. everything was just so fast that all she could do is just cry and beg for someone to believe her.

but no one would. ever.

"shit—" ike joined in and immediately snatched something on akari's desk. "my pen! how did this get in your hands?!"

akari just stared at ike with her widened eyes. she couldn't believe she was looking at the love of his life right now.

but his eyes were filled with bloodlust towards her... just because of leto?

for y/n, ike was willing to bury his pen on a student's neck.

akari felt the world being thrown over her shoulders. the man she looked up to...

all she can see in his eyes were hatred.

akari slowly stood up from her seat and silently went out. behind her were all the whispers of insults against her.

"are you kidding me?! you almost killed that lady if it wasn't for this two!" vox exclaimed at ike.

ike rolled his eyes. "i won't do that! my hand just moved on its own but i won't kill!" ike defended himself. "... at least not with these people watching," he whispered.

"you're on time out, young man. get the fuck out!"

ike just groaned and marched out of the room. y/n and the others followed him in worry.

[paging the following people, please proceed to the faculty. you are excused for the afternoon classes.]

but y/n's mouth was glued.

"you can't blame me if i misunderstand everything because you're not getting that mouth of yours working, y/n." vox warned with a strict tone. "were you in this? this thing with akari."
