"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."
- Julie Dillon

It was Friday afternoon, and you were doing some boring shit like learning when the bell rang, making the devils in your mind laugh chaotically.
Finally, time to go the fuck home. There was a new game you had downloaded on your phone before school started, and you wanted to play it as soon as you got back.
You were one of the last people to leave the classroom, finally putting all of your things in your bag and making your way out the door. That is, until you were interrupted.
"(Y/N)-san, are you ready to go?"
Shit. You had completely forgotten. So long, game.
You turned around to look at Todoroki, smiling and nodding your head. "Hell yeah, let's kill this bicycle."
He looked at you strangely, his head tilting slightly to the side as you mentally facepalmed. What the fuck was that?
"I mean aha, let's go~" you said less enthusiastically, cheeks burning bright in embarrassment as you did a full 180 and left the classroom, your head hanging low.
You hadn't realised you were going the wrong way down the corridor, going further into the school rather than out of it. You felt a grip on your hand, and you looked down at it and up at its owner, matching it to Todoroki.
"I think the school gate is this way, (Y/N)-san." He said, quietly and respectfully. You blushed at your stupid move before trying to laugh it off.

Instead, you sounded like a fucking maniac.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH—"
Why were you like this? You had no clue.
Todoroki looked at you, looking almost scared out of his mind, but still remained with you as you left the building.
It was silent as you both walked. Uncomfortably so. You decided to strike up a conversation, knowing the odds of it making things more comfortable were very low. "You like jazz?"
"I think it's a rather interesting genre of music. Quite relaxing at times, though." He replied softly, the light breeze blowing bits of his red and white hair away from his face.
How could someone be so adorably ignorant but look so ethereal at the same time? You would never know.
You couldn't help but gaze up at him and smile softly, feeling your heart clench at his reply. He was too cute.
You realised what you were thinking and shook your head to snap out of your thoughts. You needed to stop falling in love with this kid. It was gonna end up as one-sided love, and you didn't want that.
Despite the fact that you were soulmates and you were fated to be together.
Which got you thinking. Instead, you didn't think in your mind like a normal person. You had to ruin the now comfortable silence by opening your big mouth. "You ever think soulmates don't end up together because they love someone else?"
Todoroki remained silent for a bit, and to be honest, you weren't really expecting an answer. But then he replied with, "I'm not sure. If they're fated to be together, then they would eventually end up together somehow. Even if they do mutually agree to part ways because they've fallen deeply in love with their current partner. I still think they would eventually be together, even if they didn't think they would."

You really appreciated that deep reply.
Around twenty minutes later, the sun was setting and you had finally arrived at his home. You both made your way to the front door, and before Todoroki had the chance to open it, it swung open itself, causing you both to flinch back in surprise.
There stood a young woman with square-rimmed glasses. Her white hair had bits of red in it, and her fringe neatly fell across her face. "Hi, Shouto! Oh my goodness, is this your soulmate?! Hi, nice to meet you! I'm Todoroki Fuyumi, I'm Shouto's sister. But you can just call me Fuyumi."
Bruh, she had to have some sort of method that kept her that cheery. There's no way she could've been that happy with Endeavour walking around.
"Hi, I'm (L/N) (Y/N). And, yeah, I uh. . . I am Todoroki's soulmate. It's lovely to meet you." You replied, trying to match her tone but never getting there. To be quite honest, you were nervous as hell.
"You are such a pretty girl, (Y/N)-chan!" She exclaimed, getting close to your face and analysing it. "Wow, Todoroki really must have been really good to receive someone as lovely as you!"
You blushed at her compliments, having no one speak to you like that before. "A-Ah, thank you so much. You are also very beautiful. I see how you are all related. You were all born with good looks."
Fuyumi laughed joyously, flattered, however you were having a mental breakdown because you could feel Todoroki's intense gaze at the side of your head. Why the fuck did you say something like that?
"Anyway, you two go on ahead upstairs. Get to know each other. You know, bond." She said, and you blushed, remembering what Todoroki said a few days ago when inviting you over.
Todoroki sighed before placing a hand on your lower back, gently leading you upstairs like a gentlemen, causing you to internally screech at the gesture.
"Don't have too much fun!" Fuyumi said, and you looked down at her as she waited at the bottom of the staircase. She winked up at the two of you, and your face turned a deeper shade of red than it was before, noticing Todoroki glare at her, embarrassed. She giggled before walking away, humming gleefully.
Todoroki led you to his room, opening the door and inviting you in, his hand finally leaving your back as he turned to close the door behind him.
He turned to see you awkwardly standing in the middle of his traditional-Japanese-styled room. "This is really nice," you said, and he nodded as he also looked around.
He then realised that you weren't sitting, and so he quickly gestured to his bed. "Oh, please, sit. I'll ask my sister if she can get us something to eat. If you feel more comfortable, you can sit at the table."
He gestured to his chabudai table. You nodded and let out a small 'thanks' before he left the room, closing the door behind him once again. Once you were sure he was gone, you shuffled over to his table, plopping yourself down on the ground.
This was gonna be an interesting afternoon.

The Lonely King
He began walking over to me. This is it. I'm dead. I saw his shoes come into my view as I was looking down, hair covering my face. "Look at me." He growled out. I started to cry, too afraid to look. He grasped my chin and lifted my face to meet his. I mentally gasped. It's the guy from last night. His eyes held surprise too, before anger erupted in them. I cowered back in fear of what he might do."Who did this to your face?" He growled. I started to cry again and shake."Him." I whispered and gave a small nod toward the guy who hit me.
