"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

"Wow. . . How did she end up looking like that?"
"Like what?"
"Like a potato."
"She does not look like a potato!"
"She does look very similar to a potato."
"She's gonna hear you!"
"Boi, take one look at her and tell me if you think she's ever gonna wake up."
"Do-Don't say it like she's gonna die!"
"Well, I mean, she's already on her way there. Look, she isn't even moving. I bet she's watching her whole life flash in front of her before she passes."
Slam! "What are you fuckers talking about?"
"We're debating whether or not (Y/N) is dead."
"She-She is not dead!"
"The weepy asshole is right. She just needs to get a decent fucking wake-up call."
"Kacchan, no!"
You didn't wake up as peacefully as you would have hoped. You had felt a strong force to your side, and you had fallen off the bed and landed on the ground.
Pissed off, you sat up in pain, glaring at Kaminari, Midoriya and Bakugou. "WHO THE FUCK DID THAT?"
Bakugou approached you with his hands in his pockets. He stopped in front of you, looking down as you struggled to sit up. "Me, dumbass. Who else would have done it? I'm not a little bitch like those two."
Midoriya came around quickly to help you up, lending you his hand as he led you back to the bed. You sat on it carefully, only now beginning to feel the reason why you were in the infirmary. "What happened?"

"Well," Bakugou said, standing at the foot of the bed while Kaminari shuffled over to Midoriya, "like an idiot, you thought you would be able to Deadpool the Nomu's fuck-ugly ass. You got that teacher over safely with Shitty Hair, however the Nomu went to attack you. You turned around and created a shield just in time, but naturally, your weak ass couldn't hold its strength, and its hit sent your shield back against your head and knocked you out. The end."
You hummed out a response, the action alone increasing your headache. You groaned and pushed yourself up so your legs were now on the bed as well. Leaning against the pillows, you said, "Yeah, well thanks to you, I've sustained another injury."
"Oh, get over it, you whiny baby."
"Fuck you too, Bakugou."
There were loud thumps coming from the doorway, and all four of you looked over to see a puffed out Todoroki. "(L/N)-san. . ." He huffed out.
You frowned at his state, "Todoroki. Are you alright?"
"We'll leave you guys to it." Kaminari said, wiggling his eyebrows at you before ruffling your hair, making you grumble in pain as your headache got worse. Todoroki frowned at the action slightly as Kaminari left the room. Even Midoriya looked at him strangely.
"Strange. . ." he mumbled out as Bakugou abused his way past Midoriya. The door closed shut behind them, with Midoriya giving one last wave.
"What is?" You asked him, and he finally snapped out of his thoughts as he looked at you. He smiled gently before saying, "Nothing, don't worry. How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine. Just a few aches and scrapes, but I'm all good." You smiled reassuringly at him, and he looked down at you uncertainly.
"Are you sure? You took a pretty hard hit." He said, and you chuckled.
"I'm okay, Todoroki. How are you? Did you get hurt at all?"

"Just a few bruises and bumps, but I'm fine." It was his turn to reassure you, and you felt yourself slump in relief.
"That's good." Remembering something, you sat up in panic, "How is—"
"Aizawa-sensei is in pretty rough shape, but he isn't dying." That wasn't reassuring in the slightest.
You sighed before asking him, "Did All Might defeat that Nomu thing?"
Todoroki nodded his head as he came around the side of the bed, leaning against it. "Yeah. He really pushed through and managed to do it. That thing was really tough. It nearly fulfilled its purpose."
You shuddered at the thought, "Geez."
"And Thirteen?"
"Thirteen is alright," he reassured. You nodded your head.
"Did they figure out who those guys were?"
"Those guys claimed themselves to be the League of Villains. That guy who led them all was called Shigaraki. I'm pretty sure their main goal was to kill All Might, but we also know that they were keen on taking us."
You nodded your head, understanding everything he was saying. "Okay. . . Are you sure you're alright? Just because I'm the one in the hospital bed doesn't mean I'm the only one injured."
Todoroki smiled softly as he spoke, "I'm fine, (Y/N). Trust me."
You felt your heart race as your first name left his lips, never having heard it from him before other than in an argument.
You didn't realise it, but you had been looking at him for quite a while. You were once again admiring how handsome and adorable he looked at the same time. He had looks that could kill a million souls, but also looked like the softest human being ever as he stared back at you.
"Ah, (L/N), Todoroki. Here you are." Principal Nezu interrupted, walking in on All Might's shoulder. "I just wanted to check in and see how you two were."
You quickly looked away from Todoroki, your cheeks heating up in embarrassment. You laughed nervously as you said, "We're doing alright, sir. How are you, All Might?"
"I'm getting better," All Might chuckled. "I'm glad you kids are safe though."
"On another note," Principal Nezu said, "we need to talk about how the League of Villains wanted to take you two. If they've been looking for you, then it's obvious that the public must know about you two. This means that you two will need to be very careful when going out in the open. A lot of people will see your mark and will either become very excited, or very aggressive. Maybe both. Please be careful. Especially since the Sports Festival is coming up, you two will most definitely be viewed by the public."
You and Todoroki nodded your heads before you said, "We understand. Thank you for everything. You especially, All Might."
The big man laughed, "Do not worry, Young (L/N)! That's what a hero is supposed to do!"
You smiled as they left the room. As soon as they did, you sighed in despair. "Gosh. . ."
Todoroki frowned at you. "What's wrong?"
"I totally forgot the Sports Festival was coming up. I haven't trained for it, meaning I'm very weak compared to everyone else. Not only that, but if the public is viewing it, then they'll expect me to be hella strong."
"Well," Todoroki said, "it's still a few weeks away. We can train together if you'd like."
You looked up at him hesitantly. "Are you sure that's a good idea? I don't want to distract you from your own—"
"You won't." Todoroki said, smiling at you. "Should we do it every afternoon?"
You smiled thankfully at him before nodding your head, "That's sounds like a good idea. Thank you."
He smiled back at you softly. "I'm your soulmate. It's my job."

A Girl and Her Food
When a lost girl wakes up without a name, she quickly finds herself alone in a way that people around her can’t fix. Without a real plan and desperate to find what’s wrong with her, she thrashes and bites to stay alive. But human beings are weak things, that band together for strength, no matter who we are. Now if only she could work up the courage to ask one question... It’s normal to get stronger when you drink the blood of monsters. Right? Things to expect: - A powerful but kinda neurotic and emotional protagonist, with some degree of weak to strong. Or maybe strong to stronger, honestly. She's pretty rational and practical about things but won't always make the best decisions, so be warned if you super-dislike characters doing dumb stuff for emotional reasons sometimes. - Lots of dialogue and characterization, especially as we get more into it. It's focused on a single POV, but there might be some sections of other POVs later on, I'm not sure right now. - Magic is on the softer side, but I'll try to keep things fleshed out enough to avoid any obvious "well-established magic could have seemingly instantly solved this problem" moments. - I didn't add the mystery tag because I feel like it implies that this is a detective novel or something, but the story is absolutely incredibly opaque at times. So you'll have the most fun if you go into it trying to puzzle out the nature of events before they're explicitly explained!😇 - Also, I added the genre for completion, but it's gonna take a while to get to the romance.
