"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

Todoroki hadn't stopped pacing, and to be frank, it was pissing Bakugou off. Todoroki, his sister, Bakugou and his parents were all at the police station, waiting to receive more news on you. Earlier, Mitsuki had to stop both Bakugou and Todoroki from running out and looking for you themselves.
Todoroki's brain hadn't stopped since he received Bakugou's call. He was trying to rack his brain of every possible reason why you would go missing. Why you would lie to everyone to disappear somewhere.
"We really need to be quick and careful," one of the police officers was speaking to Todoroki's sister. "Ever since Stain's stunt, villains have been coming out into the open much more. Ever since Stain expressed his views and reasoning on why he was killing heroes, a lot of people have been agreeing with it. What I'm trying to say is that the longer she's out and missing, the more of a chance she'll have on getting hurt by a villain. So we need to act fast."
Todoroki exhaled heavily in stress, sliding a hand down his face as he left the room, walking out of the station altogether. Bakugou's mum went to stop him, but Todoroki's sister held a hand on her shoulder, explaining that he was just getting air. Mitsuki hesitated for a moment before nodding her head and trusting Todoroki's actual family member.
When the sliding doors opened and Todoroki stepped outside, he was immediately hit with a refreshing cool breeze. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, trying to calm his nerves. Turning, he saw his reflection in the glass doors of the police station.
His messy hair (from the countless times his hands had tracked their way through it) was blowing in the wind, and he had a permanent frown on his face. His fingers tapped rapidly against his leg in restlessness. Stepping closer, he could see the shimmering gold of his soulmate's first words peeking out from the collar of his shirt. He went to step closer again, but the doors opened automatically, him having not realised he stood in the sensors.

Some people in the building stopped to look at him, and he cleared his throat, shuffling away from the doors in embarrassment before mumbling an 'apologies'.
Turning back toward the city, he found his eyes searching everywhere. Mumbling to himself, he says, "Come on, (Y/N). Where are you?"
He thought as hard as possible. Had you been acting strange? Yes. But you always acted strange. Had you been acting any different to how you usually did? Definitely. You definitely didn't tell him much in the first place, but when you did. . .
His breath caught in his throat and his eyes widened as he realised. Recently you told him that you had bumped into a man in an alleyway, and that he seemed real interested in your situation.
He felt dread fill his core as his brain urgently went through all of the possible outcomes. When he went over to your house before your aunt ended up in hospital, it was because his mark was flashing red. He fully believed the story you gave for having your sword out, but what if someone was in your house before he had arrived? He knew you were more than capable of handling a sword.
You were acting awfully normal when he came to visit you at the Bakugou household. When he asked what you were looking at on your computer, you gave the most usual answer a student at UA would give. And he just accepted it without seeing for himself.
Bakugou had told him that you were just really angry and set on finding whoever set the hospital on fire. . .
Todoroki groaned as he ran his hand through his hair once again. He had a pretty damn good idea on why you were missing.
Storming back into the building, he went straight to the police officer who was still chatting with his sister and the Bakugou's. They all paused to look at him, his sudden approach surprising them.
"I think I know what happened to her."
"Then fucking spit it out," Bakugou shouted, earning a hit on the head from his mother.

"Bakugou, you said that (Y/N) was set on finding out who that person was, and she was even talking about how that person could hurt her aunt, as if she knew who it was. What if she organised to meet up with them? She told me when we were all going home from our internships that she bumped into a guy from an alleyway. Maybe it's the same person."
"Like he's harassing her or something?" The police officer asked.
"Or worse."
"Do you know who hired her as an intern?"
"Hawks."

"Oh, for fuck's sake, I told her to be careful with that shit."
Hawks had arrived twenty minutes after they called him, and upon hearing the news, wasn't surprised.
He explained what happened. That you were chatting with a villain, a sword out and ready to go. Even though it was the same story Todoroki told, there was one crucial detail.
"His name is Dabi. He's with the League of Villains."
Everyone went silent, Bakugou's wide eyes remaining on the pro hero and never unmoving.
"Shit." Todoroki mumbled. "And we have no idea where they are."

"You know what I think you should do?"
"I don't care."
"Take off your shirt."
"What the f—"
"I'm very curious to see whether or not your burns cover your whole body."
Dabi was slowly losing his patience with this chick. You had been annoying the shit out of him for the past ten minutes as he led you through town to get to the L.O.V. base, and he was thinking about why he was the one stuck on babysitting duty.
"Why are you so annoying?" He asked you.
"Oh, you know. If you're going to keep me in your little club against my will, I may as well annoy the shit out of you. Don't worry, it's gonna get worse when I meet the rest of you."
Dabi mentally groaned. "You do know that we can just kill you in an instant, right?"
"You do know that you're trying to recruit me for a reason, right?"
He bit back a 'tsk' when he realised you were right. Smirking, he said, "I'd love to see how annoying you'll be once your aunt is taken off her life support."
You didn't try to stop yourself as you immediately formed a sword and pushed him against the wall, the iron against his throat as he smirked at you. You clenched your teeth hard, getting frustrated that he was enjoying it so much. His electric eyes seemed to glow in the darkness of the alleyway as he looked at you in satisfaction.
"Are you sure you want a dead man on your conscience?"
Your glare intensified as you pressed the blade harsher against his throat. "I'll only kill you if one of my people die first."
"We're going to be your people, (Y/N)," he said, pushing himself against the blade as he moved his head closer to you. "Whether you like it or not."
You glared at him for a few more moments, him never breaking eye contact as his agitating smirk widened. Letting out an aggressive, Bakugou-like 'tch', you pushed away from him, throwing your sword to the ground.
"Good girl," he said lowly, before walking ahead of you once again.
You sighed, blinking back tears and following him. You wanted to go home.
