"Amore," he says while squeezing my thigh, gently.
There's a small glower look on his face and his eyebrows are slightly creased, making him look worried and nervous.
I move my thigh away from his hand and he stares at me for a few seconds before setting his hand on the steering wheel.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"We'll be staying in my penthouse for a few days. Just a change of scenery," he says while slipping his hand back to my thigh.
My brows furrow and I narrow my eyes at him. "Why?" I don't really know how it would be to stay with him for over twenty four hours.
"I thought you would like it there," he answers.
The car suddenly descends into darkness and my eyes grow wide. The car lifts up a bit then goes back down like it just drove over a speed bump.
The white headlights go on and mere seconds later another light fills the space. Rows and rows of cars parked next to and behind each other come into my view.
These are way too many cars to belong to just Vincenzo so I guess this is the underground parking lot to where his penthouse is.
He drives through the parking lot to an area that is almost empty of cars, except for a set of four black Jeeps and two black Lamborghinis parked behind a wide, metallic gate.
The gate suddenly shifts to the side and Vincenzo parks the car next to one of the Lamborghinis.
I open the door of the sports car and climb out, closing the door gently. Vincenzo walks around the car and holds my hand in his.
He locks the car and stuffs the keys in the pocket of his expensive looking suit. I've never seen this man in anything other than a suit.
I wonder what he looks like without the suit though. The elevator doors slide open in front of us. We step inside the elevator and he presses the button for the top floor.
I notice the name of the hotel carved into the metallic space above the buttons. "Hotel Capitale, how original," I make a snide remark with a laugh and he chuckles, a dimple dipping down in his left cheek.
"Enzo, you have dimples," I whisper, completely dumbfounded.
I reach up to the side of his face and poke his dimple. He immediately stops chuckling and his eyes glare down at me. I keep my finger on his cheek as the dimple disappears due to his face relaxing.

"You're very strange," he says with a small smile. It's unfortunately not wide enough for the dimple to dip again.
I remove my hand from his cheek and cheekily smile up at him. The elevator dings and I prepare myself to walk out, but the doors do not open.
Enzo reaches past my head to the keypad above the buttons and I watch as he types in a code, right in front of me.
The keypad glows green and I get excited because I really want to see what this place looks like, but the elevator doors still don't open.
Suddenly the keypad flips over into a biometric palm scanner. Enzo presses his hand against the scanner and it turns green a few seconds later.
The elevator doors open and he pulls me into the penthouse, my mind only processing now that he never let go of my hand.
The lights suddenly go on, taking me by surprise as I think someone else is in here. I look around to see no one and pout a bit.
"Motion sensors," I say under my breath as I figure out how the lights went on and Enzo somehow hears me and nods.
The furniture is mostly black and the walls are a very dark grey. There's splashes of white, silver and gold paraphernalia here and there but most of it is black.
It looks absolutely amazing in here despite the dark interior being a bit intimidating, just like the owner of this place.
He let's go of my hand and I take that as my chance to run to the giant glass wall. I stand in front of the glass wall and look down at the sidewalk. The ground is so far from where I'm standing.
If I were to be pushed off the top of this building then the fall would be quite long and it will definitely be a fatal landing.
This wall gives a full view of the entire city, and this place looks amazing. I've never seen New York city from this high up before.
Down on the streets are cars moving about and there are a couple of people out on the sidewalk too.
Men and women walk down the streets with their partners while others are having a lonely stroll.
The feeling of two hands on my waist scares me but I soon calm down when I smell his cologne.
"I never knew that this place could be this beautiful," I mutter while looking at the bright lights.

"But it doesn't compare to your beauty," he says and I roll my eyes at his cheesy, yet cute, line.
One of his hands comes up to my face and he forces my head to the side and up so I'm looking him in the eye.
"Don't roll your eyes, ok? I don't like it amore," he says in a low tone, his tone octaves lower than before.
I slowly nod and he smiles, loosening his hold on my face. I turn back around to look at the busy city with a smile.
He sets his head on my shoulder and pulls my body closer his, his hard front pressing against my back.
I swallow, hard, as I try to swallow all of the crazy hormones boiling over inside of my body.
"You should get to bed, it's really late."
"What time is it?" I ask because I have no clue.
"It's almost midnight," he replied nonchalantly and my jaw drops.
"How is there people roaming the streets at this time of the night?" I almost shout, shocked that people are bustling through the streets at this late hour.
"It's not so uncommon here. It's New York baby," he says lowly and I shake my head with a smile. "Come on, we have some things to do in the morning so you need rest," he whispers and I nod.
Enzo turns his head a bit and I feel his lips press against my neck. He kisses the same spot a few times, parting his lips every now and then. My knees go weak at his small motion, my chest heaving up and down.
He adds a bit of suction and I whimper when his tongue rolls against my skin. He sucks and nibbles on my neck, my knees going weaker at this foreign feeling.
His tongue rolls against my skin again and a soft moan escapes my mouth.
I bite my lip to suppress the other moans m, but when he both sucks and rolls his tongue against my skin even harder, they come spilling out of my mouth in an instant.
His lips part against my skin, his hot breath sending cold chills down my spine. He gently kisses my neck before lifting his head.
I let out a sigh of satisfaction and he chuckles near my ear. His deep chuckle replays in my head for a few seconds as I lift my hand up to my neck. My skin throbs underneath my fingertips as I feel around the fresh hickey.
"That's what you get for rolling your eyes at me," he grits through his teeth. He let's go of my waist and steps away from me, his body heat lingering over my body for a bit.
If this is what I get for rolling my eyes then I wonder what's going to happen when I do something worse.
His hand slips down to mine and he flips me around so my front is pressing against his.
His lips are swollen just a bit and are a darker shade of pink. His breathing is more noticable and his hazel eyes are empty of emotions.
"Time for bed amore," he says and I only nod.
Did I do something wrong?
He walks us to the second floor of the penthouse and I look around at the multiple doors.
We walk to one of the doors on this floor and he pushes the door back, flipping the light switch on the right side of the wall.
"Sorry if I couldn't make it more comfortable for you, kind of short notice," he laughs and I peek into the bedroom.
Unlike the rest of the penthouse, this room isn't swallowed by dark colours. The walls are cream white and there's a heavy tones of green and brown.
This entire room has a natural, bucolic feel to it. There is potted plants all over the room, some hanging from the walls and some placed on the floor.
Most of the furniture in here is made from dark wood which contrast with the white and green.
The queen sized bed is covered by plain, white covers and white pillows are placed on top of the bed.
"I thought you'd like the plants and something that's not dark like the rest of this place," he sheepishly admits and I smile up at him.
"I appreciate your effort, I love it in here," I say and step into the room, his hand not releasing mine. "Thank you," I say in a thankful tone and his hand slowly slips away from mine.
"I'll see you in the morning," he quickly utters and before I could even turn and say goodnight, the door closes.
