"I-I want to pray to big sister Selphie and visit Selphie's Temple! Aurel never prayed before.. s-so Aurel won't know how.. and i-it bothers Aurel! I love Selphie so much.. s-so not knowing how to pray to Selphie hurts Aurel.."

The young prince shyly confessed with an adorably embarrassingly yet teary expression having in truth simply not gotten around to praying since going to the temples themselves were quite rare.

And Holly occasionally pops up anyways making such instances even rarer.

And surprising Selphie having also realized her celestial teddy bear was always surrounded by gods and none of them taught him how to pray.. causing her especially after realizing he had wanted to pray to her but simply didn't know how!

Causing her to then lovingly hug her celestial teddy bear all the while adorably pausing for several moments thinking of ways of explaining such things as a goddess before then curiously nodding.

"I'd imagine prayers are typically a mixture of requests, worship, confessions, thanks, reflection, and many other things from mortals and even lesser gods??

"It's not exclusive to race, bloodline, or relation since even Demons, Base Humans, and Light Elementals pray to and even visit my shrines and temples!"

"Praying itself is quite reassuring to many, no matter the uniqueness of their situation, be it out of happiness, love, sadness, loss, vengeance, hate, or any number of emotions!"

Selphie adorably explained having listened to quite a few prayers when in truth she had even done so and sent delayed replies to millions after stopping time on several occasions!

However, she herself had never prayed before and could only speak from her own experience albeit on the receiving end?

Resulting in her doing just that all the while also helping the young prince by also explaining what he should expect as a God himself causing the young prince's eyes to then adorably sparkle and Selphie to then adorably continue.

"As a Goddess such prayers are typically filtered through my Goddesses and my Demigods that work with them and are typically the ones responsible for granting blessings, communicating through other gods, and every other menial task I'm unable to focus on at the time?"

"At least in most instances! So I made my own personal list of favorites and answered as many as the others that I could! My celestial teddy bears are of course on my list! Thinking of celestial teddy bears.. I'm so sorry Aurel!"

"Prayers despite being just words are quite magical and I've only ever been on the receiving end so I'm not sure if it's helpful for my celestial teddy bear-"

Selphie worriedly explained having wanted to adorably stress that fact before then finally being cut off causing the young prince to then excitedly kiss Selphie's cheeks.

Causing her to then proudly smile and the young prince to then whisper into Selphie's ear surprising her before then switching to Aurea?

Albeit eight-year-old Aurea rather than her actual form before then adorably bury her head into Selphie's neck causing Selphie to then adorably smile since no matter what both will always be her celestial teddy bear! Causing Aurea to then adorably nod.

"I love you.. as for what Aurel or rather-you know what I think it's already perfectly clear that me and Aurel are the same person? So I don't need to hint at it all the time right? Sor-Sorry Selphie, I had to get that off my chest first!"

"I suppose with that out of the way.. you know what? I'm not done! It's hard to Aurel you know! Whispering all the time is no fun and Aurea popping all the time isn't at all convenient unless they already know my situation!"

Aurea reluctantly confessed.

"And I won't have many chances like this in a while so I suppose I should tell you everything? I love Selphie so much and you're like a fusion of the best big sister and mommy in one! The butterflies never go away either so I just want to be a baby again and hug my Selphie!"

"I-It's both embarrassing and even more frustrating because for all intents and purposes you're my idol! And.. my favorite irreplaceable goddess.."

"When I think of goddesses I've always thought of you.. and the only reason why I'm not crying about missing mommy so much is because I have sisters, mommy Mera, and you.. even as Aurea that hasn't changed-"

Aurea embarrassingly confessed even further before then almost immediately being cut off by a teary Selphie hugging her as tightly as she could having simply wanted to hold her celestial teddy bear!

All the while Aurea had blissfully accepted Selphie's irresistibly warm embrace causing Selphie after what felt like minutes had passed to then calm down.

Before then simply kissing Aurea's forehead and transferring some of her own innermost thoughts and surprisingly even some fears of the young prince before he was born? Surprising Aurea even more before then gently being shushed.

"At first I thought of my celestial teddy bear as just another one of my precious princesses and held out some fears after that bully Silas's meddling?"

"But once you were born and I had both held my celestial teddy bear and looked into his eyes.. I knew my previous fears were misplaced and that I needed to stay around instead of occasionally visiting like I had done before!"

"And I'm glad that I had! To be able to watch, love, and play with my celestial teddy bears made me miss raising Elfinia! It was so much fun and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I love my celestial teddy bears and I love my Aurel"

Selphie warmly giggled causing Aurea to then slowly switch back to Aurel? Something that was indeed quite fascinating to watch?

The transition between bloodlines being seen so clearly rather than simply doing so immediately was a sight to be sure.

Causing the young prince to then blissfully cuddle up in Selphie's arms having felt beyond assured not to mention incredibly happy?

Selphie had once even thought of making him an Elven God?

Albeit he was already The God of The Light Elves but before when he was merely a baby and even a toddler Selphie had hoped to occasionally poke him into the right direction since he was a baby which she had in fact done!

But instead of entirely raising him like she had done with Elfinia, while she had left that to Aldra and the others while sneaking in some 'with' Aldra's permission through babysitting, sleepovers, playdates, and anything else for that matter that allowed her a chance?

All the while doing the same with both his sisters and even Mili! No celestial teddy bear would be left behind! But overall that was simply open thoughts as for what Selphie really thought of the young prince, she simply cared too much?

She had made exceptions, allowed him so much freedom, and to do as he pleased which was both a pro and a con?

Especially after realizing she was supposed to guide, and prevent him from doing something unnecessary that would practically go over his head and lead to negative feedback or instances in general?

Not only that he had put himself in self-harm plenty of times and would have to face such consequences all because she hadn't prevented him from either doing such acts or guided him to do otherwise meaning at the end of the day she had failed.

Not only as a Goddess but as someone who the young prince had trusted and loved immeasurably which had essentially stabbed her heart and made her both cautious and serious in such matters all the while carrying such guilt.

Resulting in her becoming even more committed and protective to ensure he doesn't leap ahead without knowing the price he'd no doubt have to pray after this training camo comes to an end in these two weeks.

After both the adorable antics and bonding the young prince had adorably whispered into Selphie's ear causing her to then excitedly nod and the young prince to then proudly smile before then getting dressed in one of Elfinia's outfits she had gifted him.

Before then adorably leading Selphie to his experiment room while the others slept to show off his elementals, puppets, and all the fun stuff!

Of course, he had already done so with everyone else but surprisingly enough it was never only Selphie resulting in him excitedly showing it all off much like any child would with his big sister and mommy!

Resulting in an equally excited Selphie following his lead! While poor Starla was simply exhausted with it all?

Causing the young prince to then adorably whisper into her ear resulting in Starla preferring to return to her ring and into her mini palace with her sisters who too had similar bodies to that of Mera and Ayla rather than Starla since she was really too unique?

Resulting in the same following with his puppets and everything else until finally after Selphie had finished praising and telling the young prince how proud she was for him to then finally be cut off by the arrival of both Katie and Ayla!

Despite all this time Katie was still upset with the young prince having felt she was unneeded and couldn't fulfill her duty as the best dragoness!

There's simply too much competition! And unless the young prince either chooses or convinces her otherwise she'd never let it go!

As for Ayla.. she was just there to provide support for her bestie since if she gets replaced Ayla would fear she was too! Resulting in the current situation?

Causing Selphie to then adorably take a step back after sending the young prince a mental message with some of her guidance something she had hoped to do more of?

Causing the young prince to then hesitantly nod and both to then adorably march over.

Causing Katie after getting close enough to then grab him by his ornate armor collar and pouting unfortunately through doing so she 'may' have 'accidentally' miscalculated her strength and left fingerprint imprints in doing so?

Causing the young prince who obviously felt it to then adorably pause and Katie to then dismissively frown.

"Make a choice you smelly bully! I-If I no longer fulfill your dragoness needs th-then tell me and I'll never talk to you again! O-Or if I do and you're a greedy smelly bully then yo-you don't deserve a dragoness that fulfills your dragoness needs! I-I won't be unappreciated!"

"I-I won't be a background dragoness with no point! I-I.. I want to fulfill your dragoness needs before anyone else! I-I'm Katelyn Caelan, a Dragon of Justice! I-Is a dragoness of justice worth so little?! I-I'm not even on your list.. s-so does that mean I don't have a future?!"

Katie angrily cried before then tearily loosening her grip surprising all three especially Selphie having understood what Katie had asked.. even if it wasn't the same as what she had asked Silas so long ago on that starry skied balcony.

She out of everyone else knew it was the same even if the situations themselves weren't?

All the while Ayla having already done something similar however to a much lesser extent and was reassured every time also understood the same in a way?

But Katie wasn't so simple despite such an outburst she was still an aspect and no one truly knew her memories or what she remembered?

In truth she wanted to let him take accountability for everything that was wrong with her, she simply couldn't hold herself responsible for becoming so distant so she blamed the young prince.

Causing the young prince having no longer cared about the fingerprint imprints to then surprisingly pause, and within that pause tears had soon slowly began streaming down his eyes before then simply hugging Katie.

"It's all my fault.. your right to blame Aurel, Aurel didn't account for so many and Aurel didn't think about it, Katie is right.. Aurel is a big smelly bully? Katie was never a background dragoness to Aurel, Katelyn Caelan, a Dragon of Justice is worth an entire greater race"

"Aurel's mind was confused and overwhelmed.. Katie deserves to be appreciated but Aurel is a big smelly bully! As for that silly list.. Aurel will let Katie choose whatever title Katie wants? Katie will always have a future.. Aurel will make sure of it!"
