《Tales of The Celestial Prince》Mommy Day III Julius Rolin I

All the while causing the young prince to then adorably freeze before then hesitantly pouting and pulling out his jewelry box containing the memory crystals
Causing Lian to then curiously look through his memory crystals once more before then curiously looking to the young prince and back to the memory crystals.
Causing her after rewatching it all several times to then heartily laugh all the while surrounding them in a soundless barrier.
"Archmage, Master Assassin, and Sword Saint?! To think your cub would be so.. STUPID! Not only had he suffered the backlash but he hesitated! The gods won't protect you forever so if someone else cuts off your arm you better use the other to take their head!"
"I don't want Bradley's and Aldra's cub to lose his instead because he thought another rogue monster lost in time would hesitate as much as he had! Now enough of this! A cub should have enough sense to understand that much.. so understand it!
"Now.. throw all of that away! A cub should embrace what it means to be a cub first.. don't be like that sissy cub Bradley! Aldra isn't Avery so you won't have his mommy issues! Thinking of issues let me introduce you to this brat! She's Lady Leo Rolin, The Chapter Master of The Celestial Leopards!"
Lian angrily explained albeit she only sounded angry. To be perfectly honest she was both a hearty and an angry-sounding person who sounded like that whether she was happy or genuinely angry making it quite difficult to translate between the two.
Causing Aldra to then gently smile and the young prince to then surprisingly giggle before then happily hugging Lian and looking to masked big sister.
Causing Lady Leo to then look back before then slightly bowing, in truth The Rolin Family was a Lesser Royal Afilite Mage Family?
Who was also a Dukedom meaning their identity was surely unique to say nonetheless?
Her grandfather was the refined soup-drinking fat gentlemen who was also a Celestial Elder making the family quite scattered all over the place albeit all in the right places since she was still a chapter master.
Meaning the family itself was an upper mid-level that couldn't be offended lightly since they happily supported the royal family in most aspects as well as adding another layer of security?
Because of this and them refusing to even acknowledge the talks of The Absurd Treaty of Restraint so to put it simply they were very well-liked to begin with and did their part and contributed quite a bit while doing so even when it was unnecessary.
"Your Majesty, your holiness.. It's an honor, if you require either me or my legion's assistance you need only ask and it will be done"
Lady Leo adorably offered causing Aldra to then gently smile and the young prince to then happily nod causing Lian to then both immediately and roughly pat Lady Leo's back.
"I heard one of your cousins from the lesser continent failed the mage legion entrance exam?! How about him going against our sissy cub?! If he wins he'll be allowed in The Celestial Lions! Our sissy cub needs the practice! What do you think Aldra?!"
Lian excitedly suggested causing Aldra to then gently look to the young prince for his answer causing him to then adorably nod and Lady Leo to then helplessly pause..

Her estranged 'cousin' was a prince from The Continent of Furvus the one Celestial Queen Avery had dealt with.
Resulting in The Celestial Leopards and The Rolin Family being given one of the slaving empires which had been demolished and brought to The Celestial Standard.
Albeit not entirely due to the restrictions and treaties of restraint not to take over the continent and rather stay at a slightly higher level?
The Lesser Continents had to be treated with care for the most part and said Empire was still a vassal and host kingdom of Lady Celes.
So her cousin who had never visited The Continent of The Gods before and had much less quality magic tutors due to said restrictions may not even stand against a child who wasn't from a lesser continent?
This was because Celes didn't really care and only did so, to begin with because Avery asked her to.. and simply wouldn't stop asking her so the entire thing annoyed her so, of course, she approved of such restrictions.
Causing Lady Leo to then sigh since he cousin had already failed the basic mage legion entrance exam and despite having a deluded celestial royal bloodline still had one.
Meaning he could learn and see the level gap while meeting The Celestial Holy Emperor and The First Prince of The Elves while doing so?
Resulting in her helplessly agreeing since bringing said lesser cousin here was a favor, to begin with causing Lian to then heartily laugh before then leading the way to the celestial legions dueling display!
Surprising quite a few of the mage legion and the onlookers by their arrival causing Lian after leaving for a moment and reappearing once more.
All the while dragging a scared young boy who looked to be Eleven along to then toss him into the dueling arena.
The young boy was in fact named Julius Rolin Lepar youngest prince of The Celestial Empire of Lepar, he wore a black and golden imperial attire that looked quite extravagant but only looked that way.
Complimenting his blonde hair, pale yellow eyes, and adorably feminine yet delicate features.
Causing him to then tearily sigh and Lian to then look to both him and the young prince.
"The Lesser Imperial Prince Julius Rolin Lepar versus The Sissy Celestial Prince, The Son of The Sissy Celestial King! His name is Aurelius Emilia Elfin Vale! If this brat Julius wins I'll accept him into The Celestial Lions! If our sissy celestial prince wins.. he'll get something! Any complaints?!"
"Our Celestial Queen of The Elves his mother is in attendance! So act accordingly or I'll take your heads! Sissy cub! Don't kill him and oh you're forbidden to use weapons of any kind!"
"Julius will be allowed to use his staff! You need the experience and you don't need a staff! Now get in there!"
Lian roared surprising everyone and causing Aldra to then take a seat on her throne accompanied by both the mini Rory and Lian along with the arrival of Celes who sat next to Aldra while Vani went on a shopping spree.
Causing both the young prince and the now both blushing and utterly confused Julius stared at each other while Lady Leo hovered above as the referee causing her to then sigh.

"No lethal blows and the rewards have already been stated, I highly suggest no one forces their mana into an unstable state in the hopes of victory, the damage to your mana veins will cripple those who are less experienced for a time so keep that in mind"
Lady Leo seriously warned before then finally signaling the start of the duel after going over the rules and so forth.
Resulting in Julius being the first to attack since Leo suggested the weaker opponent take the first step surprising Julius having thought the young prince was merely a Mid-Level Mage at best.
However after some reassurance from the young prince he had finally taken the first step!
Resulting in him sending a wave of lesser fireballs at the young prince making full use of his staff.
Causing the young prince to then curiously stop all five before then merging all five into one and dispersing them with an adorably curious expression surprising Julius.
He was a Mid-Level Grandmage!
And he wanted to go easy on the young prince but what was this?!
He had no idea how any of this was possible! Causing him to then finally get serious before then erecting a flaming shield and going all out resulting in the young prince not wanting to bully him to then adorably nod.
And simply used his elemental barrier and waited ten or so minutes until he got tired before then immediately appearing behind him and kicking his legs out from under him all the while adorably pointing a finger at his head.
"Big brother shouldn't focus on overwhelming.. big brother is too weak for that-"
The young prince adorably reassured before then quickly being cut off by Julius throwing away his staff and in the confusion pulling his dagger and tossing it at the young prince's shoulder!
However unfortunately the young prince had immediately slammed him back into the ground all the while catching the ornate iron dagger by the blade and shattering it leaving only a hilt surprising everyone.
And causing Julius having had the air knocked out of him to then look up to the young prince playing with the hilt causing Julius after getting his breath back to then immediately try to kick the young prince's leg's from underneath him.
Causing the young prince to then effortlessly jump up avoiding it before then slamming Julius back into the ground.
Causing Julius after finally getting his breath back for a second time to then look up to the young prince before then blushing once more since that was definitely not a boy!
Causing him after calming down to then tearily sigh.
"Miss.. it's my loss.. but I must ask! What are you-no-no that sounds awful! I-I meant to say.. what level are you?"
Julius tearily asked having felt humbled beyond belief by an eight-year-old little girl!
Why did fate hate him so?! Not only had he begged for lady Leo to take him as a disciple and failed but he had also utterly failed The Mage Legion Entrance Exam! He was still a celestial!
And the son of The Empress of The Celestial Empire of Lepar! He was a Lepar!
Even if compared to this little girl he was still a bug it was still something he was proud of! He inherited his mother's appearance but not her brain.. it was simply too much!
He at least wanted to know if he was defeated by a High Mage at the most! At least then he'd have an excuse.. causing the young prince having realized he had gone too far to then gently nod.
"I'm a.. Level 22 Archmage, Master Assassin, and Sword Saint.. I'm sorry for bullying big brother.. It's not fair for big brother.. I will fix big brother's dagger"
"I am a Junior Artisan so I'll fix it.. and big sister Selphie sent Aurel on survival training.. so big sister Lian should do that for big brother? Survive and get stronger.. but don't change! Breaking will ruin progress.. the strong don't break so don't break big brother!"
The young prince gently reassured via mental message before then unsuppressing both his breath and revealing that of a Mid-Level Archmage, Master Assassin, and Sword Saint.
Surprising everyone, especially by The Fairy Like Glow he had gotten from eating those fruits.
Surprising everyone by the sheer breadth and mana he had which was now comparable to the 'quantity' of a Low-Level Sacred Powerhouse's?!
Many mages have to wait until they have a certain amount of mana to advance after obtaining the knowledge!
So the fact that he had so much and his mana both looked and felt that way only meant not only had he already learned The Rules of Lightning, Light, Frost, and Fire but he wasn't even a Legendary Mage!
Meaning with even hard work and experience he could breeze through to The Sacred Realm in two decades maybe less!
Not to mention the advanced mana manipulation he displayed being able to effortlessly tear apart the spells of anyone below an Archmage with ease?
He was only eight! Did Lady Celestia throw their precious prince into the deepest lawyers of The Endless Abyss and made him crawl back up?!
Funnily enough, no one would have suspected it was Selphie's doing! Not to mention many knew what that fairy-like glow was!
They quite literally made fairy tales talking about it not to mention there were actual fairies watching this! Albeit the capital was 'extremely' diverse to begin with so fairies weren't rare?
But the fact alone that it looked like he ate two fruits made many fairies almost vomit blood while causing both Jade and Mora to laugh their hearts out at this fact!
In truth, both besties were a bit mean to begin with and it wasn't for the young prince reigning them in they'd probably steal Klarine's Lingerie..
And perhaps even Kassandra's?! Or worse!
Causing poor Julius having felt overwhelmed to try his best to absorb it all causing the young prince to then adorably help him up.
Causing him to then surprisingly take a knee before then slamming his head on the ground in a begging position surprising everyone even more.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.

Dust and Glory
A century after World War III left the planet a nuclear wasteland, earth is nearly unrecognizable. Alien ‘Benefactors’ have taken control of North America’s most populous cities and built indomitable walls around them, defending their inhabitants but trapping them under a totalitarian rule. Outside these citadels, chaos reigns, led by the mutants of the wasteland; cultists, raiders, and canibal clans. Glory, a rogue android, is roaming the wastes after escaping her sadistic “father”. Alone and reeling from the effects of a previously sheltered life, her only ray of hope is Reza City, built upon the ruins of what used to be Phoenix, Arizona. True, the Benefactors have a strict ban on self-aware artificial intelligence in place, but that should only prove an issue if they realize she’s an AI. The real problem is what lurks outside the city: over a million square miles of harsh, unyielding desert. And slinking between the dunes and the fissures are the mutants, looking for an easy victim.
