Chapter 167: The Saintess’ Feelings
The hunt outside was still as cruel as ever. There were people dying left and right. Yu Shengyun’s heart was heavy and filled with complicated feelings.
Were it not for Yuchi, the angel race’s participants would have been completely annihilated by the dragon race, there was no question about it. However, after Yuchi saved her, she originally thought that Yuchi would bully or poke fun at her. After all that had happened between them, , she was already prepared to accept this…
She even had a strange thought in her heart. She thought that if she really had a child with Yuchi…
What should that child’s name be called?
She even pondered about how she would explain this matter to the rest of the angels and the higher-ups when she returned.
In the end though, Yuchi had asked her to leave. Other than holding her by the chin and getting an eyeful of her beauty, Yuchi did not do anything out of line, which made Yu Shengyun feel very conflicted.
“Am I not pretty?”
Such a thought appeared in Yu Shengyun’s mind.
After the thought appeared, her face instantly turned red. She immediately sneaked a glance at the other angel next to her. After making sure that the woman had not noticed her embarrassed expression, she let out a sigh of relief.
Yu Shengyun could not understand what she was feeling right now.
At this moment, she was flying with the other angel. They were invisible, andheading out of the Black Mountains at a relatively safe and stable speed.
Her heart was racing for many reasons. Yuchi’s actions had left her confused, but in hindsight, he was also very terrifying!
How did he manage to annihilate so many experts in the blink of an eye?
If there was a word that could describe his strength, it would be “invincible”.

He was so strong that she, Yu Shengyun, would tremble and sweat when she recalled what had happened.
“Hu!”
Warm and moist air came out of her mouth as her wings beat rhythmically in the sky.
In the end, she could only shake her head. Yuchi’s ability was far beyond her level of comprehension, so it was best not to dwell on it.
“Forget it. I really owe him my life this time.”
“Mm…”
“If he really wants my body, then I’ll give it to him. This way, I can also repay the debt I owe him. If I go against my own conscience and become his enemy after being saved, how can I still call myself an angel?”
Yu Shengyun had already made her decision.
She was now certain that she would be able to leave the Black Mountains and return to the 10,000-meter-tall building, ending her hunt..
When she returned, there would definitely be people from her race who asked her about what had happened during the hunt, especially her master Yu Shengxuan. No matter what, she had to come up with a story. This way, she would be able to help Yuchi maintain his aura of mystery.
Such a terrifying monster had been hiding beside them this entire time. Just thinking about it made their blood run cold.
The other angel was still struggling to suppress her shock.
“Saintess, was this all part of your plan? Did you already know how terrifying he was from the start? Was that why you ended up having feelings for him?”
This angel’s heart was filled with complex emotions.
She was actually envious of Yu Shengyun’s relationship with such a strong expert.
Yu Shengyun did not know how to answer her.
She had known nothing!
As for the matters of the heart…

This was called repaying a favor.
Mmm.
She was repaying a debt of gratitude!
It was not a secret crush!
She cleared her throat and suppressed the uneasiness in her heart. Then, she said to the other angel with a serious tone, “Let’s not talk about this matter for now. After we return, if any other clansmen ask about what happened here, just follow my lead.”
“We can’t tell anyone about Senior.”
“You don’t want our angel race to gain such a terrifying opponent, do you?”
“I’ll handle this.”
“At the very least, I will protect the dignity that Senior should have in this matter.”
The woman immediately nodded.
She now 100% agreed with Yu Shengyun’s words! The angel race should never cross Yuchi!
He was too scary!
…
In the 10,000-meter-tall building, many people from the myriad races were in a state of intense shock.
So many jade tokens had shattered at once!
What was going on?

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.

Making a difference
Harry Potter FanFiction: Hannah Longbottom liked to watch the people who entered the Wizarding World via the small, walled courtyard behind the Leaky Cauldron for a reason: During her not so long life, she had learned about three different boys who had entered the Wizarding World alone, leaving behind a life so horrible she could barely imagine. One of them, who became a friend of hers, had gone through great hardships to become a hero, one of the greatest wizards the Wizarding World had ever seen. One of them, who had been her teacher, had become cold and bitter, and no one had ever recognized what amazing talents he could have offered, until it had been too late. One of them, the monster she had helped to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, had become the most dreaded, most dangerous, and most deadly man Great Britain had ever seen, and yet it could have all been different, if someone had just tried to make that difference early enough in that life, if he had not boarded the train to Hogwarts all alone. Already posted at Devianart and AO3, I've included a link to RoyalRoad on my profiles there.
