Chapter 282: I’m Not That Strong
Yu Shengyun looked at Ershania, who was staring at Yue Hanjiang. She could roughly guess what was going on, so she smiled and said, “By the way, I forgot to tell you that this child is his disciple. Her name is Yue Hanjiang.”
“Ah, so, she is Senior’s disciple.”
Ershania had really thought that Yue Hanjiang was Yuchi’s child.
Thankfully, the misunderstanding had been resolved.
“I know that you must have a lot of questions right now, so ask away.”
Feeling the warmth that wrapped around her hand, Ershania was extremely touched. She turned to look at Yuchi, who was still outside.
He was still dressed as she remembered him, in ordinary gray clothes, and barefoot.
He did not look the slightest bit like a cultivator. Still, she did not want to ask about his affairs for now.
Instead, she shifted her gaze back to Yu Shengyun and asked, “What level of strength have you reached, Sister?”
Asking about someone’s strength was not exactly polite, but she felt that she had to know.
Ninth-grade?
Eighth grade?
Fifth-grade?
Yu Shengyun smiled and nodded, “I’m not that strong. I’m just a first-grade Dao realm cultivator.”
Not that strong?
First-grade?!
Ershania sat there in shock.
She knew how difficult it was to increase one’s cultivation level.
After all, she had only been SS-grade not too long ago.
Cultivation was an endless journey, and even though she felt that she was already very lucky to have found a lot of natural treasures that allowed her strength to increase rapidly in a short period of time, when she reached the Dao realm, she realized how pitiful her level of strength was.
She did not even know if she would be able to reach the eighth grade of the Dao realm, yet this woman in front of her had actually reached the first grade of the Dao realm.

Oh my god!
She did not look even that old, so how could she be so powerful?
It was no wonder that Senior liked her.
Yu Shengyun looked at the dazed look on Ershania’s face. This girl seemed to be somewhat scatter-brained. Still, this added to her appeal.
“There’s no need to be so excited,” she continued with a smile.
“I’m from the angel race.”
“I used to be the Saintess of the angel race, so most of the resources of the angel race were allocated to me. That’s how I managed to obtain this tiny bit of strength.”
Yu Shengyun felt that this was reasonable. Others had to search for treasures and opportunities, but those things were simply given to her. She did not have to waste her time searching for such things.
Ershania looked at Yu Shengyun in disbelief.
The Saintess?
It was simply unbelievable!
Also, were angels not supposed to be three meters tall?
Why was she even shorter than her?
Could it be that…
Was it for the sake of Senior?
It seemed so. Even her wings were retracted, and she looked completely human.
Senior was truly capable!
He had completely won over the Saintess!
All of this was too exaggerated!

Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com! Sitting Under a Torn Umbrella
Man is for man - this is an old slogan today. It has lost its uniqueness for the cause of self-centred mentality. Now we cannot hear the chorus songs of unity. Rather the sound of cacophony always do disturb our hearing organ by imposing acute disparity. We don't fly the flag of harmony, uncompromising corrupted selfish hands try to disconnect the rope of the flying flag to take undue advantage. Human being lacks of humane quality. Strangulation of faith is seen here and there. We are losing hope day by day. The act of deflowering is an art. The dignity of woman is mercilessly crushing under the wheel of gender inequality. Filial piety sinks into the ocean of disbelief. Every moment we do feel pangs of neglect sitting under a torn umbrella.

Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
