Chapter 820: Chapter 820 Return
The next moment, on the stone tablet, all the names of the people who were still on the list shone brightly. Their luck no longer increased.
Before long, many people who participated in the convention emerged from the giant light cluster and landed slowly.
Not long after, about 300 people appeared on the empty open space on the top of the snow mountain. All of them were participants of this Tianmen Convention.
Most of these people looked confused, seeming to be puzzled by the sudden teleportation.
Liu Ming glanced at them with a slight frown.
Without exception, the luck lock on these people’s wrists had long since disappeared without a trace.
On the other hand, the dozen people on his side were still wearing the luck lock.
At the next moment, the giant black-white light ball spun and split into half white and half black.
“Whoosh“, 2 thick light beams of black and white blasted toward the round discs in the Sky Palace’s messengers’ hands.
The 2 light beams disappeared without a trace.
At the same time, on a mountain not far from the entrance of Tianmen Secret Realm, Immortal Tian Ge and the man in a gray robe, who were sitting cross-legged, suddenly opened their eyes and looked at the snow mountain with a hint of confusion.
“Sect Master, it seems that you have guessed it right. Something must have happened in the secret realm, so this convention ended earlier.” The man in a gray robe whispered.
“What happened to Tiancheng and Liu Ming? If they were dead, I’m afraid our sect ranking will be even worse than the previous few conventions.” Immortal Tian Ge sighed softly.
“Sect Master doesn’t have to worry too much. Since the names of those disciples have not been completely darkened and Old Man Tian He personally entered the Tianmen Secret Realm, even if there is any change, they should be safe.” The man in a gray Robe said comfortingly.
“Let’s go and see.” After Immortal Tian Ge said lightly, he and the man in a gray robe turned into 2 escape lights flying toward the snow mountain.
At the same time, in the building under the snow mountain where the Murong Family was stationed, the black-robed old man raised his head and glanced at the black crystal ball in front. It was naturally projecting the giant stone tablet above the snow mountain.

“Although I don’t know why this Tianmen Convention ended so hastily, from the current ranking, our Murong Family should be able to enter the top 3.”
The black-robed old man waved the feather fan in his hand and sneered, then he flew toward the snow mountain in a black light.

In the residence of the Haoran Academy, 2 middle-aged scholars in white robes were talking in a low voice with solemn expressions.
“Senior fellow apprentice, how come this Tianmen Convention ended so fast? The current ranking is extremely unfavorable for us. Although we are not fully prepared this time, we shouldn’t end up in this bad state with Han You participating in it, right?” One of them, a kind-faced middle-aged scholar frowned and said lightly.
“This woman was still ranked 8th before, but for some reason, her name became dim. However, I heard that she was brought out by Old Man Tian He himself. In addition, among the 10 disciples who participated in the convention, 5 of them are dead. This is really rare in the previous conventions.” Another gentle middle-aged man, who was slightly older, said slowly.
“Since the convention is over, let’s go there to see the situation first.”
The 2 immediately left the station. The middle-aged gentleman raised his sleeves and summoned a red-crowned crane of a dozen meters. It carried them toward the snow mountain peak.
As the news of the early end of the Tianmen Conference spread, more and more elders from major sects and families all got up and flew toward the entrance of Tianmen Secret Realm.
“Liu Ming is still alive? Why didn’t Long Xuan behead him? If I missed this opportunity, when will I have a chance to avenge my grandson.” In a rolling black wind, a low and hoarse voice sounded.
“Master, we have already figured out the appearance of this person. There will be more opportunities in the future. We shouldn’t be eager. We can still let someone else kill him in the future.” Beside him, a gloomy-looking man said respectfully.
“Although Long Xuan is still at the Crystallization Period later stage, his strength is comparable to yours. Even he couldn’t succeed. Do you want us to send a Real Pellet State master to kill Liu Ming? Think before talking to me.”
The billowing black wind suddenly accelerated, and it disappeared in place.
At this time, at the center of the platform on the top of the snow mountain, a total of 600 disciples from the various sect families had gathered there. There were more than a thousand onlookers around. The scene was extremely chaotic for a time.
Liu Ming, Peng Yue, the silver car man and others sat in the same place to adjust their breath while restoring the spiritual power. They seemed to be waiting for the elders of the various sects to receive them.
A white light landed in front of them. After the white light dissipated, an old man with white eyebrows was revealed. He was the elder of the Ouyang Family.

“Ouyang Qian and Quyang Qin greet second grandfather!” Seeing this, Ouyang Qian and Quyang Qin stood up immediately, took a few steps forward and bowed to the old man with white eyebrows.

“Good good good!” The old man with white eyebrows couldn’t help saying in joy after seeing that the 2 women looked pale and had a weak aura, but fortunately, they didn’t suffer any injuries.
At this moment, another yellow light and gray mist arrived. It was Taiqing Sect’s Immortal Tian Ge and the man in a gray robe.
When the 2 saw Luo Tiancheng and Liu Ming in the crowd safe and sound, they also looked eased. Then, they looked around, trying to look for other Taiqing Sect disciples.
The moment Liu Ming saw Immortal Tian Ge, he suddenly remembered that he still hadn’t gotten the burning heart sunflower requested by the elder of the Fallen Serene Peak.
He originally planned to look for this item after coming out of the land of inheritance, but he never thought that the emergence of the 3 alien race monsters would end the convention earlier.
“Brother Peng, I’m looking for a kind of burning heart sunflower that can only be found in this Tianmen Convention. The maturity just has to be around 1000 years. Have you found any of it? I’m willing to exchange it with a 1000 years old purple bamboo shoot and moro flower.” Liu Ming whispered to Peng Yue on the side.
“Oh? Burning heart sunflower is indeed a unique product of Tianmen Secret Realm, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen it before. Brother Liu should ask the others.” Peng Yue frowned and shook his head.
The young man with a silver car beside him shook his head slightly when he heard the words.
“Brother Liu has purple bamboo shoot and moro flower?”
At this moment, the woman in green clothes Quyang Qin, who was talking with the old man with white eyebrows on the other side, was startled after hearing Liu Ming’s words, then she immediately informed the old man before walking over and asking curiously.
“Oh, does Miss Ouyang have what I want?” Liu Ming was a little surprised.
“Gege, Brother Liu, see what this is!” Quyang Qin chuckled, then a yellow spiritual grass appeared in her hand.
It had a circle of orange leaf petals like a small sun and a cluster of bright red spherical flower buds in the center. It was like a human heart that was surrounded by a small cluster of pale yellow spiritual flames.
“Yes, it is this grass!”
Liu Ming looked clearly at this spiritual grass. After confirming that it was the same as described in the ancient record, he immediately smiled and took out a purple bamboo shoot and moro flower.
When Quyang Qin saw these 2 things, she immediately threw over the spiritual grass and carefully received the purple bamboo shoot and moro flower.

Liu Ming felt at ease, then he put the burning heart sunflower into a jade box, kept it inside the Sumeru Ring and cupped his fist,
“Thank you, Miss Ouyang!”
“It should be me who thanks, although burning heart sunflower can only be found in the Tianmen Secret Realm, in terms of value or maturity, these 2 spirit grasses are more valuable than a burning heart sunflower.” The woman in green clothes said with a smile, then she turned and left.
Not far away, Ouyang Qian smiled at Liu Ming as she saw this scene.
“Luo Tiancheng, Liu Ming, come over.”
At this moment, Immortal Tian Ge not far away waved to Liu Ming and told them through voice transmission.
Luo Tiancheng gave Liu Ming a blank look, then he rolled over in a silver light.
“Brother Peng, I will leave now. See you next time!” Liu Ming politely bowed to Peng Yue, then he turned to look at the calm-looking young man with a silver car nearby and cupped his fist as if he suddenly thought of something,
“I’m Liu Ming, may I know mister’s name?”
“Nature Work Sect, Ye Jiong.” The young man with a silver car was stunned for a moment, but he immediately smiled and replied.
Liu Ming nodded, then he strode toward Immortal Tian Ge.
With the arrival of the people of various sects and families, many strange runes appeared in the air. It was the signal for their disciples.
A series of escape lights of different colors shuttled back and forth at low altitude. The disciples of various sects were looking for their sect according to the signal.
At this moment, a piece of starlight flickered in the air, then a huge spiritual pressure suddenly pressed down, causing everyone present to look up in shock.
At the same time, a purple light and a silver light flashed toward the starlight.
It was the purple-haired man, Lu Meng, of Big Dipper Pavilion and the silver-haired woman, Yin Se.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

He is given the chance of a lifetime; to take part in a study focused on researching the effects of VR games on quadriplegic patients. Authors Note: If you find that the dialogue from the prologue to chapter 5 seem to be not that smooth, I apologize for that, it was my first time writing a fanfic so the dialogue was not in a format that is ideal. However, due to reader comments and some research I will try to attempt to improve the dialogue from chapter 6 and onwards. I may or may not come back to edit the first few chapters since I would have to rewrite most of it and I would rather spend that time writing out more of the story.
