Chapter 853
Chapter 853: Ouyang Ming
“Mystic Comprehending State?”
Hearing this, Ouyang Qian covered her mouth lightly in surprise, and she looked up and down at Sha Chuer without stopping.
Quyang Qin was also taken aback. She looked at Sha Chuer with suspicion.
Sha Chuer heard what Liu Ming said, but she sighed and said,
“Whether I’m the disciple of a Mystic Comprehending State cultivator, this is not an important matter at all. I came to Ouyang Family this time to find my father, who is also a member of the Ouyang Family.”
Ouyang Sisters were naturally startled again when they heard this, but the purple-robed man’s face turned gloomy as if he was thinking something.
“Yes, I remember that you told me before that my father is from the Middle Sky Continent. I didn’t expect him to be from the Ouyang Family.” Liu Ming was a little startled.
“My father’s name is Ouyang Ming, and my mother personally told me that he is a child of the Ouyang Family. Otherwise, I won’t just come here as soon as I leave the southern wilderness.” Sha Chuer said softly.
“Ouyang Ming.”
Ouyang Sisters showed a somewhat confused look on their faces as if they had never heard of this name.
The middle-aged man in a purple robe’s complexion changed slightly, but he seemed to think of something and his expression returned to normal in an instant.
Sha Chuer and Liu Ming saw this instant change in their eyes.
“I also hope that senior can let little girl see your honorable family master or directly tell the whereabouts of my father. Once junior knows the exact news, I will leave immediately, and I will stop pestering the Ouyang Family.” Sha Chuer asked anxiously.
“I’ve told you many times that Ouyang Family doesn’t have a character like Ouyang Ming. You’ve found the wrong place, why do you keep insisting!?” Ouyang Xin became a little impatient.
“Impossible. My father had personally told my mother that he came from the Ouyang Family, 1 of the 8 great families of the Middle Sky Continent. He was 1 of the 28th generation core disciples, Ouyang Ming…” Sha Chuer said in a hurry.
“I don’t have to deceive you. The Ouyang Family does not have this person in the record. There are many Middle Sky Continent’s families, and the family name Ouyang doesn’t belong to our Xuanmeng Mountain Family alone. You should leave now and go to other places to inquire.” The middle-aged man in a purple robe said coldly.
Sha Chuer opened her mouth slightly, wanting to argue, but Ouyang Xin had waved his sleeve and said fiercely,
“I have said what I wanted to say. Ouyang Family doesn’t welcome you, so please leave before I make you leave!”
As soon as he spoke, an intangible spiritual pressure spread out, causing a faint ripple in the surrounding space.
Both Ouyang Sisters and Sha Chuer snorted, and they involuntarily took a step back again. With a flash of white light, they barely stabilized themselves.

Liu Ming took the spiritual pressure leisurely after a shake of his body.
This caused Ouyang Xin to glance at Liu Ming unexpectedly. After a cold snort, he turned and walked into the hall.
Seeing this, Sha Chuer bit his lips slightly. After finally grinning reluctantly at Liu Ming, she walked out sadly.
Liu Ming frowned slightly, but he didn’t chase her immediately.
Judging from the previous situation, the father of Sha Chuer was really a child of the Ouyang Family in all likelihood. It was very likely that it involved some secrets of the Ouyang Family, otherwise how could an outsider, who intruded into the Ouyang Family, leave easily.
But he didn’t know the real reason, so he really couldn’t say anything to help her, lest he made things worse.
“Brother Liu. The family master is in the hall, let’s go in too.” Ouyang Qian said with a glance at the back of the middle-aged man in a purple robe, she followed Quyang Qin side by side.
Liu Ming turned his head and glanced at Sha Chuer who had already walked away. After a slight thought, he moved on.
As soon as he entered the entrance of the main hall, there was another short corridor. On both sides, there were several servant boys in purple clothes standing with their hands beside their bodies. There was also a tall door in front. The middle-aged man in a purple robe had already entered the door, and Ouyang Sisters were waiting in front of the door.
Seeing this, Liu Ming flickered and came to the side of the 2 women, saying,
“Sorry for letting you wait.”
Ouyang Qian didn’t say anything. She turned around, and the door opened in response. The 2 sisters walked in first.
Liu Ming walked in without hesitation.
As soon as he stepped in, his eyes were lit up.
Inside this hall was about the size of an acre and 15 meters tall. The walls on 4 sided were inlaid with purple crystals. There was a palace lantern on the dome, which looked like the wealthy family of the mortal world.
Opposite the hall, a fair-skinned man in a purple-gold robe was sitting on a large mahogany chair.
This person was about 30 years old, with a short beard on his lips, and looked a bit elegant. At the moment, he was looking at Liu Ming with interest.
Ouyang Xin sat beside him blankly.
When Liu Ming’s eyes met the elegant man’s eyes, his body shook slightly involuntarily.
In this elegant man, he felt the huge aura similar to Thunder Beastkin, and it was even more powerful.
After Sister Ouyang Qian gave a respectful greeting to the elegant man, Ouyang Qian reported with voice transmissions before walking to the side.
“Taiqing Sect, Liu Ming, greetings to master of the Ouyang Family.” Liu Ming bowed deeply.
Before coming to the Xuanmeng Mountain, he also had some understanding of Ouyang Family Master.

The family master in front was Ouyang Jianqiu. According to rumors, this person had been in charge of Ouyang Family for less than a hundred years. He had always been very low-key in the outside world.
“So it’s Nephew Disciple Liu of the Taiqing Sect. You are indeed a talent.” After listening to Ouyang Qian’s voice transmission, the elegant man showed a hint of astonishment. After he looked up and down Liu Ming a few times, he finally smiled and spoke with a hoarse voice.
“Junior has also heard of the great name of family master name for a long time. It is my pleasure to be able to see you in person.” Liu Ming respectfully replied.
“Hehe, you are not old, but you are quite good at talking. I heard from Qian’er that you came to Xuanmeng Mountain to borrow the Clear Exquisite Wall this time?” Ouyang Jianqiu took a sip from his teacup, asking casually.
“Family master is right. My master Yin Jiuling and the elder Ouyang Ying of your family have made an agreement to lend the Clear Exquisite Wall 3 times to our Taiqing Sect’s disciples, so I came to ask for it.” Liu Ming replied respectfully.
“Oh…” Ouyang Jianqiu nodded after hearing this.
“Reporting to the family master, the matter between Elder Ying and Taiqing Sect Yin Jiuling back then was a private agreement and was not reported to the elders of the family for approval. Therefore, whether this agreement should be fulfilled requires careful discussion.” The middle-aged man in a purple robe said faintly at this moment.
As soon as Liu Ming heard this, his face suddenly turned gloomy. However, as an outsider, he couldn’t say much, lest it would be counterproductive.
“Reporting to family master, Qin’er thinks Elder Xin’s remark is inappropriate. As far as I know, Elder Ying agreed to this exchange not for no reason, but for several disciples in the family who had been stuck in the bottleneck for many years so that they can get the chance to enter Evil Ghost Way. Since there has been an agreement, how can we go back on our words? Otherwise, wouldn’t the others laugh at the honesty of our Ouyang Family.” Quyang Qin even bluntly rebuked the middle-aged man in a purple robe.
“You…” Ouyang Xin’s expression changed, and a cold intent flashed across Ouyang Qian’s eyes…
“Qin’er’s words are right too…” The elegant man nodded unexpectedly.
“Family master, Clear Exquisite Wall is a sacred artifact of the family. Thousands of disciples of my Ouyang Family and many of them are waiting to use this treasure to break through the bottleneck. Please also family master think twice! Even if you want to lend it to this person… you should lend it to him later.” Ouyang Xin said while glancing at Liu Ming, but his tone was obviously not as strong as before.
“Hmph! Elder Xin just wanted to let the kid of the Demon Mystic Sect use the Clear Exquisite Wall. I really don’t know what benefits Demon Mystic Sect gave Elder Xin privately that made Elder Xin favor him like this? Report to family master, Demon Mystic Sect and the Ouyang Family are always in a hostile relationship, it must not be trusted!” Ouyang Qian didn’t hesitate anymore and directly interjected.
“Hmph, you 2 are talking nonsense in front of family master! Family elders had already decided to borrow Long Xuan to let him accomplish the major event of our family, so they agreed to lend the Clear Exquisite Wall as a price. The marriage between the 2 sects is also agreed by the family elders. How can you juniors object to it?” Ouyang Xin regained her composure and said with a cold snort.
“Since this marriage involves our sisters, why can’t we object? The so-called discussion between elders was just decided privately by a small number of elders as most of the elders are absent in the family. How can it… “Ouyang Qian fought hard.
At this moment, the elegant man in the main seat took a sip without any haste as if he hadn’t heard the argument below.
Seeing this situation, Liu Ming admired him for a while.
“Reporting to family master, if it is to accomplish that important matter for the family, I think Mr. Liu is more suitable than Long Xuan. After all, at the Tianmen Convention a few years ago, Mr. Liu’s strength was far above Long Xuan, and he even won the top prize.” Quyang Qin said suddenly.
“Oh, I’ve heard of this too.” The elegant man’s eyes lit up as he glanced at Liu Ming.
“Junior was just lucky.” Liu Ming heard Quyang Qin directly used him as her shield. Although he frowned secretly, he didn’t directly deny it after thinking quickly.
“Tianmen Convention does have a lot of luck involved, and it doesn’t explain the level of one’s strength. Maybe this Nephew Disciple Liu just got lucky in it.” Ouyang Xin said with a sneer.
“Elder Xin sounds like you know it. Have you also entered the Tianmen Secret Realm before?” Ouyang Qian said faintly.
“You…” The middle-aged man in a purple robe suddenly became angry when he heard the words.
Naturally, he couldn’t enter this Tianmen Conference, and the last Tianmen Conference was 800 years ago. Even if he was born at that time, he didn’t reach the conditions to participate in it.
TL: Maybe Sha Chuer’s father is related to the important matter of the Ouyang Family?

Can he really bring his world back to its old glory? —————————— I have never written a story before in my life and now I'm doing so in a language I don't natively speak. Groundbreaking quality is probably not something to be expected, but I do my best to keep things readable. With the necessities out of the way, both constructive criticism and other suggestions are very much welcome, and I'll do my best to take them into account when writing future chapters.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
