CHAPTER 185: First Segment. (Part-13)
Meanwhile, at the Earth team's seating area, a discussion was in progress about the ongoing Bout.
"That little guy is really powerful. He keeps growing stronger and stronger. Mr Sergei, if he is your opponent, how would you deal with him?" Kasim asked, and the others wondered what Sergei's approach would be.
The entire discussion was first set in motion with Min-soo starting the analysis on how he would fight against Pompa if he were his opponent, and from there, it took off as one after another began exchanging their way of approach.
Except for Jay and Sergei, everyone in their team had shared their own angle. Even Brandon and Olivia mentioned theirs when asked by others.
The less talkative Sergei didn't ramble like the most and went straight to the point.
"I would go for his senses by engulfing him with the Darkness element. Without them, his combat effectiveness would plummet regardless of his high raw strength. From there, it would be a matter of patience and striking the weak spots."
Sergei's words reminded his team members of the Thunder Miasma Jay used in Round-2. When they were within it, their senses were restricted to the point they were oblivious to everything outside a meter around them.
Although the Darkness element paled in comparison with the Thunder Miasma element, the ability to rob the target's senses was common between them.
Many found Sergei's approach more efficient in dealing with Pompa than the rest of them, aside from Olivia.
After all, she could directly target Pompa's soul without even having a need for physical confrontation.
No one in their team asked for Jay's approach since he could outright crush Pompa without any tactic.
Their thoughts didn't escape Jay's attention, and even though none of them asked, he still joined the discussion, "Indeed, going for his senses would work pretty well. Matter of fact, Tyuk was in the midst of implementing just that."

They all then turned to look at the ongoing fight, where Tyuk was under Pompa's constant oppression without any signs of making a comeback.
That continued for a while, and Tyuk's attacks barely made any difference as Pompa seemed to have grown even stronger; they began wondering if Tyuk even had the ability to do what Jay had mentioned, and a drastic change took place.
Up until then, Tyuk used his superior Agility to evade most of Pompa's attacks, but he no longer maintained his distance and rushed closer.
Concurrently, Pompa began acting odd as he waved his fists around non-stop. While hitting empty air, he shouted in frustration, "Ahh!! What have you done to me?!"
While many were wondering what happened to Pompa, very few had answers. Among them were Tyuk's team members, Jay and Olivia.
Aside from the Grade-8 Whip Talent that Tyuk had displayed in front of others, he possessed another Innate Talent that he hid in the previous Rounds.
______________
(Grade-9) (Variant Category)
- Allows the host's Anatomy to create, nurture and store deadly toxins.
Innate Exclusive Skills: , , .
: Upon infusing this Colourless and Odourless Toxin into the target, their five senses will be shut off until toxicity wears off. Transmission is possible through medium diffusion.
: Upon infusing this Toxin into the target, their Stamina usage is quadrupled until the toxicity wears off. Transmission is possible through direct or indirect Physical Contact with the user.
: Upon infusing this Toxin into the target, their Health drains until the toxicity wears off. Transmission is possible through the User's blood.
Health Drain Rate: 40 per second.
______________
All the while Tyuk fought, he was, in fact, using his first two Innate Exclusive skills. Other than spreading the 'Neurosense Toxin' in the air around him, every time the whips in his hands made contact with Pompa, little by little, the 'Lethargy Toxin' was transmitted to Pompa.

He waited till then to accumulate enough Toxin within his opponent before triggering the Toxins so that by the time the other party realises their situation, it would already be too late to dispel them.
The moment he triggered the 'Neurosense Toxin', Pompa lost all his five senses temporarily, and Tyuk took advantage of that and closed in on his opponent before lashing his metallic whips at the weakest links in Pompa's exoskeleton.
Since Pompa lost his sense of touch, he could only rely on the pain inflicted to detect where Tyuk's attacks were landing.
Pompa counterattacked accordingly, but his efforts were for nought as his opponent was agile enough to dodge them in the nick of time.
Before long, Tyuk was the one to draw the first blood. He didn't miss the opportunity to use his third Innate Exclusive skill on the injury he made on Pompa's right knee joint.
Tyuk smeared his own blood on both the Whips' spikes before lashing them at his opponent's injury, and through blood transmission, he infused the 'Lifedrain Toxin'.
Even with Pompa's regeneration speed, losing 40 Health per second will make him lose the Bout in less than 10 seconds.
From that point, all Tyuk needed to do was wait in order to win the Bout.
The sudden turnabout in the fight left everyone speechless,, including most of the Earth's Alpha Chosen. Among them, Henry was the most joyous one.
"Hahahh!! Can't you see I won the bet? Prepare to hand over those 200 Reward Points." Henry chortled at Dante.
To which Dante responded with a smile since he could see the Fate Sequences of Pompa and Tyuk, "Hold your horses; this Bout is far from over."

Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel (An Irreverent Fanfiction)
Fates Parallel is a gripping cultivation story, following the adventures of a half-spirit girl with nothing as she grows both as a cultivator and as a person after arriving at the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial and Arcane Arts. It features fleshed-out, believable characters, wonderful world-building that informs the course of the plot, and girls who hold hands. Fates Parallel is a very good story, and you should read it! Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at this same world from a different angle, following a totally regular girl who brings bad luck with her wherever she goes. It features shallow, joke-name characters, a focus on the least interesting parts of a fantastic world, and girls who hold hands (potentially). Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is an amazingly hilarious (so says me) fanfiction and you should read it! (This is a Totally Author Approved Spin-Off (Fanfiction) for Fates Parallel, which you can find in a number of places including here on RoyalRoad! Please do read it!)
