《An unknown world》Chapter 32: Happy birthday, Barry!

It is on the early morning of January 25th, the boy who was previously ill is now back in good condition.
The boy has woken up from his slumber and got up from his comfy bed.
The boy then stretched his tired body after taking a long two-day rest in his room. He then plodded his way to the mirror in his room to see his appearance.
As the boy reached the mirror, he notices that his hair was messy. So he used his hands to push it down, covering his forehead.
The boy then straightens out his bed and opens up the curtains to let the sunrays enter his gloomy room. He then goes to the bathroom to take a shower.
After he was done, he dried himself with a towel. Then he gets his school bag ready and changes into his school uniform before going down to take his breakfast with his parents.
As he heads down the flight of stairs, he was greeted by the voice of his mother saying, "Good morning, Timmy. How are you?"
He then said, "Good morning, mummy. I'm fine, thanks."
His mother just nodded and said, "Breakfast is ready. Please eat your breakfast before the food gets cold."
Barry nodded back and said, "Alright then."
The boy then goes over to the dining table in the kitchen to take his breakfast.
As he finished eating his breakfast, he still had some more free time to watch TV before he was sent to school.
When he turned on the TV, the news channel was the first thing that popped up on the screen.
The news was about a civilian who fell from the first floor of a building, the news reporter said. According to officials, it was later found out by the police that the injured civilian was a wanted criminal who managed to break through the security of a building in broad daylight. The suspect is now undergoing recovery before the suspect will undergo interrogation by the police for further investigation. It is also reported that it was lucky that no one was harmed. It is reported that it took place when the venue was used by a certain school for a certain school event.

As Barry was watching the news, his mother passed by behind him.
When Barry's mother saw the news, it recalled something to her memory, and she said to him. "Oh, I remembered something… Didn't your school held a Sports Day event on that day? Isn't the venue they said just now, a stadium arena as the place your school to hold the event? When they said a 'certain' school… isn't that your school, which they meant?"
When he heard that, he tried to recall his memory. Suddenly, the realization hit him. It occurred to him that the Sports Day event had eventually slipped from his mind when he was sick and almost forgets about it.
The venue and school that was mentioned in the news was indeed like what his mother had guessed.
He was stunned speechless as his jaw dropped. He then scratched his head and thought to himself. "Wow… didn't expect that the school appeared on the news. I'm just glad that no one was injured on that day. But, there is just one thing that begs a question. How did the person end up in that state? Who did it?"
When he looks down to see the time on his watch, he realized that it was time for him to go to school and he informs about it to his father. Then they left the house for school.
Soon, they have reached their destination. Barry gets down from the car and walks to his class.
As he ambled his way to his class, a thought ran across his mind.
"Oh, right… My birthday was yesterday, wasn't it? I suddenly remembered something. Wasn't the girl named Angelica asked me about my birthday? And also Ethan too. Would they remember my birthday? Haha, I don't think anyone would remember my birthday. It would be great if someone did… Anyway, let's just drop this and hurry to the class!"

He dropped the thought and slowly increases his pace to a jog.
Soon, he reached his class. As he walks to his seat, he was greeted by Ethan. "Hey, Barry! How are you doing, bro? Are you doing fine now? It was a shock for us all that you fell sick. By the way, I'm glad you could come to school today.", said Ethan with a smile.
Not long after that, Angelica appeared and asked Barry about his current condition. "Hello, Barry. How are you? I recalled that you fell ill last week. Have you fully recovered from your fever?"
Barry was surprised by Angelica's sudden appearance and her question. However, he just said to her. "Hi, Angelica. Yeah, I'm doing fine. I have already fully recovered from my sickness. Or else, I wouldn't be here right now." Barry said this with an awkward smile plastered on his face.
Angelica just nodded her head and said to Barry with a smile on her face. "Oh, I see… Right, that makes sense. How silly I am. Yeah, I'm here because I want to wish you… Happy birthday, Barry."
Barry's eyes became wide as he wasn't expecting for anyone to give a birthday wish to him, especially from a girl.
After that, Ethan facepalmed himself and said to Barry. "Right, how could I forget? Happy birthday, bro!"
Soon, some of the other students, including Joe, Colin, Ryan, Eric and Hillbert, joined in to wish him too.
This made him blush, but no one realized it. This is because it was hot outside, so no one could tell whether he was feeling hot or embarrassed.
School begins as usual. And when the school bell rung in the evening, it was time for all the students to go back home.
When Barry reaches home, he and his parents went out to town to eat at a fancy restaurant in order to celebrate Barry's birthday.
On this day, Barry was contented that things turned out this way.
