《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 84 - Meet Fiona and Diana Mother, Emma

I leave the room I am going to stay the whole Winter holiday, and head downstairs, where the rest of the Lunderberg family is. And there is also a family member I haven't met yet, who is Fiona and Diana person who has brought them into this world and reached them some valuable lessons, and that is their mother. A person I had for a short period of time and didn't know very much about it.
When I entered the kitchen, I saw there the mother. She was cutting some vegetables using a sharp knife and boiling some water on a handmade stove, probably by her husband, if it not, maybe somebody else, who knows, because I didn't ask her about the stove. I know some houses have stones, even ours has one, but that one was made by our neighbour, who is an excellent crafter in the city.
"Hello," I say to the woman.
"Hm..." says the lady who is turning back with her knife. "Oh, it is you." he was said surprisingly, not in a mean one. "Hello, Judah!"
"How do you know my name?"
"The girls told me," she says continuing to cut carrots. "So say, are you happy working with Fiona?"
"Yes," I respond to the woman's question while I head to the table. "May I sit?"
"Of course you can," she say after he saw me close to the chair. "After all, you are a member of our family."
"Yes... A family member." I say in such an uncomfortable way who gave the lady creeps even to this day. "I was wondering about something."
"About what?"
"About these girl's talent, you know?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I mean those two girls have some different talents. Fiona got fighting, communicating, and even a talent for hunting people. And Diana... Where should I even begin, she can do everything."

"Diana cannot do everything."
"What do you mean by this?"
"Well... When she was four years old, she saw her sister coming home with something. And the thing she brought home was a flute, a musical instrument. Do you know what a flute is?"
"Yes. I saw one." I respond to their mother while I remember the time I was locked up and saw a mage who was using his flute to make us or some of us sleeping in the cells.
"Good. When she tried to use the flute, she didn't sing as beautifully as her sister."
"Wait. you mean Fiona can sing at a flute? I didn't know that."
"That is because she is singing on special occasions, like the celebrations we are going to do in the following days. She will most likely take her flute and go sing in the crowd while Diana and I are going to cook."
"Thank goodness you let Diana cooking," I say that thing without realizing I have said it out loud.
Then, their mother turned around, feeling very insulted, and she just tosses me a palm on my left cheek, telling me that a man should never insult a woman cooking because it is rude and it will also make him single forever. But when she did that, she also said to me.
"She got her cooking talent from her father."
"Aha," I responded.
Then, Diana, who was bringing a wolf in the kitchen, told her mother that she finally caught the dinner. The mother turned around, she saw the wolf and she just thanked her remarkable daughter who is an expert in hunting. After she put the wolf on the table, Diana looked at me and she asks me.
"You want to go and see the village?"
"Sure," I respond to her request. "Could I take my wand?"
"Don't worry. If something is going to jump at us, it will just Megan fat cat."

A few moments later, Diana and I are walking on the streets of this village, I saw some people on the streets, I waved at them, but some of them did not respond by waving back or just welcoming me. And I know why they think I am some kind of traveller who will stay there for a bit and he will later leave this village, but I will stay here for a much more period of time because the holidays are going to take a while.
Then, we saw an old lady on the road, who carrying a few pieces of wood, a few of them falls from her back. So, anyway, I have decided to go there, together with Diana, and help her carry those woods to her house, which it was a few meters from where we are. The lady thanked us for doing this, but Diana just said.
"We just do our job."
A few minutes later, we have put all of the woods on the property at the old lady, and then we left her and continue walking in the village. When we have taken a corner, Diana asked me.
"Are you happy helping people?"
"...Yes. People need to be helped, right? All of them. Need a hand."
"Yes. They need but not everyone. You will see people in life who wanted help just to get something from you. Something dear."
"... Does it ever happened to you?"
Diana took a long pause, while she and I are walking and she looks in the sky for a second, then she told me.
"It is. It happens to every human being."
"I understand."
"And... What do you think about this village?" says Diana who is trying to change the subject.
"It is cool. The people seem nice."
"Not all of them are nice. Some wanted to see the world burning."
"And those are?"
"Weaker than we are."
We then stopped in the middle of a bridge and looked in the water, because we have heard someone screaming "Help!". Diana has quickly jumped from the bridge into the river and win to the person who is trying to swim. I could've helped her by using a transportation spell, but I do not have my wand and book with me. Diana has successfully rescued the girl from the water and dragged her on the land. And I run there to see if the girl needs my healing spell.
When I arrive there, Diana has finished checking her pulse and she told me.
"Do it, Judah!"
I put both of my hands on her chest and apply the "Heal" spell. That spell could help her live cause this is not the first time I was trying to cure someone of drowning in the water. The first time was when I was with Fiona in a village to patrol, while we were in the war, and one man was in the water almost dead. Thankfully, with Fiona's pure strength and my healing spell, we could save the guy's life.
After a few seconds, the girl was coughing water from her mouth and she looks scared. We are trying to calm her, while she is crying she is trying to tell us who did this to her.
"T-T-Tw-Twins De-Debraco di-di this to m-me!"
"What?" asks Diana who seems confused. "These kids are still here?"
"Y-Yes." says the little girl who looks like she is starting to feel better. "Th-They have also taken my money and throw me from the bridge while they were laughing."
The little girl quickly hugs Diana, and she let her do it. Also, Diana looks at me and she says.
"Those are the people I told you earlier."

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
