Everyone but Master Keitou has now returned to Earth, to Mount Osore where the secret Systemless Squad base currently resides.

I’m very, very pleased to report about our great gains in forces.

We’ve made a few allies, for sure. The Beaver Hopper Clan from Balloon Land. And this new lava-based young woman named, apparently, G’L’K. The Goddess and Pablo Rosas also give word that, if we are to help the people of Mortal Rim deal with their kaiju problem, we will gain an immensely powerful ally in that world.

We have also collected greater powers for those of us already a part of the team. Abby Faulkner seems increasingly confident and powerful just after her hours in Lava World. And Delta has gained the Balloon Land system, which has more than doubled her combat powers at the expense of making her much cuter in battle than she ever wants to be.

Francis and Julie also discovered some rare artifact from the world of Warring Core. This device is known as... the Warring Core. It can grant magical abilities to youth and can be harnessed to, apparently, counteract the magic of the Destiny Deck System. If true, huge, is what internet people would say about that.

With Keitou still missing, and possibly permanently missing, it is up to me to step up as leader of the Systemless Squad. So I do with a speech that details out next steps.

“Everyone, we have made great strides in knowledge and resources during our multiversal scouting trips. But we now have one very important task ahead of us:

“We must take back the state of California. It is a massively important part of the United States, but right now, the U.S. military is beyond stretched thin. They have been unable to locate us, and they certainly don’t have their elites guarding their own homeland. We have the perfect opportunity.

“Once we take California, we have already freed San Francisco. Santa Barbara. Los Angeles, Simi Valley. Even the unknown region of San Diego. All these powerful centers will become the staging ground for our epic rebellion.

I look at our army and am pleased. We have:

Francis, social media influencer of the generation.

Delta, the only Balloon System wielder on Earth.

Julie, the monstrously powerful North Spiran.

Esther, the baby with enigmatic abilities.

The Goddess, the literal creator of this multiverse cluster.

Pablo, a fearsome warrior and keeper of culture.

G’L’K, a lava girl with a burning passion for heroism.

Abby, a dedicated surfer ronin.

The Beaver Hopper Clans, a multiversal family of magic scientists.

The loyal reborn souls of the Shimokita Peninsula who guard us here.

The remaining Santa Barbaran soldiers who have followed us here to the end.

And, adding to all of that, me.

I am a B-Rank [Adventurer], soon to become A-Rank when I find the time to rank-up. But most of all, I have become an icon. A symbol against the oppressive forces that seek to undermine all worlds at once.

Alone, I am nothing. But as part of the Systemless Squad, I have no limits. None of us do.

It’s time to prepare for our California invasion and start out counterattack against Biden’s forces.
